I have had Chester do my taxes for a few years and have not had issue until last year but this year took the cake. I am in the process of buying a new home. I handed off all my necessary documents to Chester in March & asked if he could put a rush on my taxes. I told him I’d be happy to pay an extra fee. No response. A week or so later my family went in to drop off their documents and asked about mine. Then I heard from him finally & all good. He gets my families taxes filed and I still haven’t heard from him. Multiple texts and calls, nothing. Then I would get a “it will be done by..” the date passes and nothing. This happened multiple times. Luckily I didn’t get an offer accepted yet for a house so I wasn’t in a huge time crunch. I got married in 2020 so my last name & marriage status were different from previous years. He was told and had the right information. FINAL TAX DEADLINE & he isn’t answering any communication. Finally he answers the phone, says “I am working on it” & hangs up on me. Sends it over 4 hours later, last name & marriage status are incorrect. I call and he tells me that he will file an extension because he can’t deal with it right now. I have an offer accepted on a house & I tell him that I will lose this house & my escrow if I don’t file. He’s had months to work on this. HE CUSSES OUT MY HUSBAND when we tell him this. Tells us to f*** off and hangs up on us.After a panic attack, $$$ and some hours later I was able to file my own taxes before the deadline.

DO NOT USE!!! Chester is the single most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Unresponsive for months, when I did reach him he hung up on me before cussing at me the next time I reached him. Ultimately had to complete them on our own on deadline day.I will be contacting a malpractice attorney and filing a complaint with the state CPA board. I repeat, DO NOT USE

After 6 weeks of waiting, numerous unanswered emails, phone calls, & texts, we were finally able to pick up our UNFINISHED tax documents and get them done with someone else. Not surprisingly, it took the other person less than 3 hours to get our taxes prepared and filed.I will say that when Chester did reply to ONE of our texts, he blamed the lady that works for him. It was all her fault for not doing her job, according to him.I would like her to know, we never believed that excuse, and thank her for giving us back our documents today.

I dont know if this place is still in business, whether taking new clients or not. I sent a simple email asking if they were taking new clients and if so, can they assist with out of state taxes because for a lack of better wordswe havent been diligent in filing our taxes since we moved from the west coast to the east coast. The response I received back on my email was no, quit bothering me please and please do not contact me again when all I sent was the initial email. I know there are scammers out there but that was uncalled for. I submitted and email to a different CPA and got an appointment right away who is willing to take my business and help me out.

Chester and now Sarah have done my taxes for 30 years now and theyve been great. One time I was audited and Chester took care of everything I didnt even have to talk to the IRS. Its just a big relief to be able to turn this over to someone else and not have to worry about it. I highly recommend them.

We went to Chester on a referral after having a bad experience with a previous tax preparer. Very rarely anymore does a CPA actually spend the time to sit down and go through all your taxes with you. Usually you drop off your paperwork and pick everything up a few days later. Chester and Sarah took the time to work through everything with us and explain different tax strategies that could be used. This allowed us to reduce our tax liability while still showing a profit for my small business. Will definitely return in the future.
