We have been going to H&R Block for over 20 years. We have only had a bad experience once in that time! They are always very nice & willing to help us get back as much as possible.

Better hope you never have to contact customer service. This company is an absolute nightmare. Piece of mind...Piece of something else. (Days later the responce from owner they gave the customer service number.... Case an point.)

Price. Changed from a CPA to H&R for faster service and better price. Service was about the same but price was higher for one year and approx the same for the other.

Edit: they fixed the credit card issue, if next year is handled a bit better, Ill increase the review further then.This office is extremely disorganized and was unable to keep multiple appointments and when I tried paying via credit card, they said their machine was down and that Ill have to come back later to pay. Im very wary of giving them my business again. Be very wary if you choose to use this office.

Sandra Rauch, Senior tax preparer, appears to be unusually competent and trustworthy compared with several others I have had. She also knew about MN taxes & knew how to fix a major mistake prior tax accountant had made. H&R Block has your back, will help you out if there are problems. Tax Identity Shield monitoring account gives monthly warnings of any Black Market internet scans or SSN alerts.

I had a great experience here filing my taxes. The tax advisor was helpful and easy to talk to. Overall the process took around an hour to input and finalize my taxes. A few weeks later I got a revised 1098 and called H&R Block. They were able to put together a revised submission form for me in less than a day. I picked it up in about 5 minutes and added the stamp. I would recommend them to anyone looking to file your taxes but not wanting to do it yourself.

Your pricing is extremely high, you have to be competitive in order for me to be able to recommend you to all my friends, I cannot recommend you based on your extremely excessive pricing, I paid over $800 last year just to do my taxes, and I didn’t get as much tax returns as I expected

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience this year, as well as last year. JoAnns great personality and her professional knowledge set the standards that every tax professional, as well as anyone working in the public need to emulate. For example I always arrive at any appointment early so the professional knows they do not have to wonder about whether I remembered my appointed time, I walk in and JoAnn greets me and asks if I am ready to begin. Ive been to offices that many times the client is ignored. Going to this office is very refreshing and enjoyable. I look for many years of continued loyalty on my part. I could not have asked for anything better. Thus my answers, my ratings are like an eval in the military they are fire-walled to the positive. This office needs an award.

Strong service, but too expensive. Unless you have avery complex tax year, I would not recommend spending this much. If you choose to deduct from your return, there is an additional charge.

Mary is the best tax preparer. We won’t go to anyone but her.
