You just cant beat the convenience of getting your oil changed here. I pulled up at 8:55am and was driving away at 9:15 after getting a full synthetic oil and filter change on the Jeep. There was no wait and everyone knew their roles. They even checked the tires for proper air pressure while the other 2 guys drained the old oil and replaced the filter and added fresh oil. I guess it could get backed up at times because its at a busy intersection in downtown Georgetown, but not on this particular Monday morning. No frills, no upselling, just changing oil and an occasional safety inspection is pretty much all they do here.

Im really happy I found this place. I went to get a truck inspected today. I knew there would be a wait at a lot of places since its a Friday toward the end of the month.I went down the street to an auto shop first. They quoted a wait time of 3.5 hours. I decided to come back another day and, as I was on my way home, I happened to see this Oil Exchange while stopped at a stop light. It didnt look too busy and they had an inspection sign out front so I stopped in.They got me in and out in less than 30 minutes. Very happy with the service and would recommend.

Came here after I had a real rough experience at a Jiffy Lube in Round Rock. I came in and it was a real small hometown feel kind of place but in a great way! Real simple and nothing too wild. It’s an older place but they took care of me in literally less than 10 minutes for an oil change! I spoke to a great gentleman who was waiting for his car to be done as well and said his family’s been going here for 17 years!I can truly see why. They also have a veterans discount so it’s always nice when a place has discounts for those that have served or currently serving.The staff were real nice and everything went super smooth!I’m truly blessed to have found this place and I will be coming here for a long time to come.7/19/19 UPDATE:I literally couldn’t believe it. I was in line waiting like usually to get an oil change & state inspection. They told me they wouldn’t help me to go somewhere else. At first I laughed cause I thought they were joking around but they were serious. So disappointed that they treated a customer who was gonna come for a long long time. But it’s alright, found a better place that treats me solid, 👍🏾

Went in for the Texas inspection. Drove in around the building and parked. One vehicle was getting a inspection, a few minutes later mine was inspected, in and out in 20 minutes. A nice lady assisted with the payment and paperwork. Second time that I used this location. Will certainly go back next year.

Best place to get an oil change. I have been changing my truck oil at this place for years and they havent push me to buy filters or other items like the chain stores do where someone charged me $15.00 to clean the battery post.At another place they wanted to change the air filter when they had just changed 3 months before claiming it was really dirty (it wasnt).I like the service at this place and will continue coming here everytime that I can!!!

Attempted to get an oil change here on a 2013 Ford Escape, and they refused to do the service because they would have had to remove the full skid plate.The only good thing was they were professional and up front about it and pointed me to a different business....on the other side of town.

No nonsense oil change. I asked standard questions, (hope you do too) I agreed and service provided. Inspections were not available, a sign is posted, fair. There was no wait time for me however someone did pull up behind me and if I was them Id be glad previous vehicle didnt take long. Minor, again minor thing didnt know how to reset oil life but keep in mind came for an oil change rather than doing it myself. Googling how to reset was simple and not a big deal. Other places were open & cheaper but long wait times; another place would have been as quick but again wait time and they wouldve been more expensive. Id go back.

Im very impressed with the vehicle inspections which are thorough, their knowledge of laws changing inspections & the prompt attention when I arrive.

When I pulled up, they ignored me. When I walked towards them, they walked away. When I went inside and mentioned I wanted an oil change, the older woman cut me off and asked what year was my car (I said 2005), she said they dont serve cars older than so and so. And then she walked away. This place made me feel racially profiled. Im Hispanic and I was hoping for good service here but if I could give it 0 stars, I definitely would. I didnt demand anything or responded likewise because of my bible trained conscience. The owner needs to come here more often and check on this location.

Got my oil changed with Mobile One synthetic and got my inspection. To my surprise they charged me $106 for just the oil change. Walmart is $58 for the same. Nice people but too expensive.

I always go here and drive away with a smile. Super nice people, great price on the oil change. If I could give them 10 Stars I would.Not many small town shops like this left.

Took my 2014 Dodge Charger in today for an oil change I have been to this place a few times and every time I go it is high quality service. The techs are awesome so friendly. And such a fair price. Please give these guys a look. Keep it up guys.

I love this place! They do a great job for a good price. They remember me as a repeat customer and appreciate my business. Locally owned and operated, always the same loyal staff. They might be a little rough around the edges, as some other reviews say. So, if you want a swanky oil change and auto inspection, this is not your stop.

My daughter took our car to get inspected. The sign said to park in the alley way. She wasnt sure which side was the alley way so she parked and came in to ask Paul where she should park. He informed her to park over there.She confirmed with him that was the alley way. Then by his face she said, Im sorry, Im not sure where you want me to park. Paul said, Its okay youre a chick.After I called Paul to explain that the comment he made was Sexist (without yelling or anger) he proceeded to tell me that my daughter was unintelligent and hung up. Will never do business with this company again.

Got a state inspection they were very friendly.

Came in for an oil change on a vehicle (ram 1500 with a 4 inch lift) the Oil Exchange has changed the oil on before. Five minutes after I pulled the truck into the bay they called me out from the waiting room and the tech told me he wasnt going to do the oil change because the filter is too difficult to reach and he didnt want to mess with it. I was shocked...have owned my truck for three years, had the oil changed at multiple locations and changed it myself occasionally, its not a complicated task.Extremely unprofessional, disappointing experience. If you are looking for a friendly, professional place to have your oil changed in Georgetown, Id recommend going elsewhere.

Friendly and fast service. They seem to be very busy all the time so you might have a wait, even if you get there before they open. But once they get to your car things move swiftly.

I called they said 10 minute wait for oil change and that is exactly how long I waited. No more Jiffy Lube hour wait watching Judge Judy. Friendly service and speedy service.

Ive gotten my vehicle inspected a few times here now. The staff is super friendly. I cant vouch for oil changes here, as I do my own. I seen some reviews call this place dirty, but if you actually look at it, its just well worn and all the surfaces are actually clean. Support your local businesses and come here!

Two cars, two hour wait for inspection. I will never come back here. Drove over to jiffy lube and got instant help. This is the worst place with the worst customer service. Id give negative stars if I could. After looking at the reviews, this place is very inconsistent with their service. You either get good service or terrible. Thats not how you run a business.

Regarding only the inspection. Texas passed a few years ago the right to use electronic forms of proof of insurance. They stated they could not do this without the paper form. Oil changes are fine, inspections on the other hand...

Had to stop going here. They struggle to remove the oil caps if you have service anywhere else. They just can’t get the cap off. Weird.Also I once went in for an inspection. She told me I needed to fill my tire and didn’t pass my car. I went around the corner and they gave me the inspection.I ignored these issues as I thought they were one offs. Also, you can drop off and do lunch on the square. Nice and convenient location.Last week they again couldn’t get my oil cap off.

Refused to do an inspection because I had my insurance card pulled up on my mobile phone instead of printed out. I said I would take my business elsewhere and she said Fine. I dont care ...dont need it anyway.Wish I had of read the other reviews first. Whitestone Tire Center on 29 had no issues with the mobile version, and were much more polite and professional.

This place is AWESOME! Ive been bringing my cars here for many many years. They are local, old school and honest. Any of the bad reviews you may be reading are far and few between all of the great ones. All of you haters probably brought bad energy/juju with you...get over your selves and respect!

I called, they told be to come in for an inspection and then when I got there they told me they had too many lined up for inspection and WOULD NOT inspect my vehicle...with just two people ahead of me . Very unprofessional. Would not recommend.

Do not get inspected here, they are incompetent.They failed me for having a clear UV filter on my windshield. Even after showing them the exact law (Texas admin code title 37 part 1 rule 21.3) that spells out it is specifically allowed the inspection manager just stone walled me saying I dont know anything about that. Very bad experience. I paid at another place so I didnt have to deal with them

I love to take my car here because 1) they are lightning fast and 2) because they never try to sell me services that I dont need like so many other places. I highly recommend this shop!

I went in here to get a state inspection on an older vehicle, the mechanic on duty refused to even look at my vehicle because she said it “sounded” bad. I think that is very poor quality service. I ended up getting a successful inspection elsewhere.

Inspection done in 15min. Nice friendly people. By the way, the restroom decor is really unique. Great job Yall.

GARBAGE. Witnessed them rip of an elderly lady for $108 oil change and ac filter, saw this because they thought this was my truck and asked me to sign the receipt. CONTINUED to wait my hour and a half total just for them to tell me THEY DONT TAKE DIGITAL COPY of insurance.. Come on i could literally make up some fake paperwork to look like insurance and they would probably take it.. but no they dont want and actually visual representation from an insurance company software that is up to date by the hour that i have insurance on said vehicle.. DISGUSTING, this is 2017..if you dont like or accept electronics then you shouldnt have a business

Very unprofessional. Not only is this place a filthy dump. The staff all look like they just crawled out of a dumpster. After all that I waited 30 minutes for them to even begin my inspection after 2 of the 3 employees left the premises and the one who was left took a smoke break between inspections. Blech.

This place isnt pretty... They dont have an expresso machine or fancy recliners...guess what... Theyre a down and dirty oil change place and thats what they do....well. If youre looking for somewhere with a nice ambiance...go to a spa or your local coffee shop. If you want a quick, affordable oil change quick fast and in a hurry. These are your guys. Paul is great and always knows just what oil is recommended and they always have it on hand. They never try to rip me off with unnecessary upsells and in fact told me to hold off on changing the diff oil as it was fine. I like these guys and will continue going back. I just wish they did tire rotations too! Added bonus is not having to even get out of the truck!

Great service and quick turnaround

This place was recommended, and overlooking how rude and discourteous they are, what really bothered me was that they changed the oil and didnt reset the oil change indicator....so soon after I paid to have the oil changed, my car keeps telling me to change the oil every time I start it. I went back and asked them to reset it and was told thats not their job. And I have no clue how. Horrible experience.

I have gone to this location many times and it has been ok, but this time I waited an hour then the lady came in and said yiur insurance doesnt go in effect till tomorrow ok Thank you and I left, then I came back this morning and waited another 45 mins and she comes in to say I need the other vehicles insurance I said ok ill run home and get it, I thought both vehicles were on the same card but no, so I get it and come back and she is working on the car that was behind me and then somone else is parked and she knows I have been here since yesterday and tells me I have to wait, poor customer service it took me about 5 mins to get to my house I dont live far at all and she tells me it will be 60 mins before I can leave. Its very frustrating!

Im giving one star because you cant give a zero and leave a review. These guys would not take my insurance off my phone app for state inspection. They stated that the DPS told them they could only take paper. This is clearly not true in the state of Texas. They were rude about it and they even ganged up on me when I told them they were behind the times regarding technology.I will NEVER go back.
