I walked in to SmartStyle Salon around 10:00 am on Monday morning and asked the hair stylist if she had time to cut my hair. The door was partially open. She said we are not open and my machine is broken. She also said she had a customer coming, if she shows up. I sat down outside the salon to wait. She finally opened the doors completely but did not acknowledge me sitting there. I sat there another 15 minutes and finally left. The stylist completely ignored me, very rude.

Came in early morning asking for a same day appointment and the lady told me she only had 5 hours from now. I took the appointment and she took down my name and phone number. I came back 5 minutes early for my appointment time and she told me she ran behind and was no longer able to take me. She asked if I wanted to reschedule, I said no and walked out. This is unprofessional as if you ran behind you could have taken less than 5 minutes to call me to tell me not to come back. Especially when I came back again 5 hours later. Why would I want to reschedule if you cant commit to my first appointment and didnt even bother to call me. Dont waste your time like I did!

Hailey was very professional and kind. She puts the client at ease and shes easy to talk to.

This lady was Ridiculous and bad service. My husband called her two days ago to made an appointment for Wednesday at 10 am. On Wednesday my husband called her at 10 am said I am on my way to there. I was late for 30 mins. she was working on some customer when I got there at 10:30. I said sorry I was late and she said ok. I was sitting there waiting for her. After she have done the first customer she started the second customer. I can understood that because I was late. So I was siting there for 50 mins. Finally it was my time, I lied down on the chair then she open my hair said she couldnt do it because my hair was too long. I said you should tell him at begging when my husband called you for the appointment, because he told you how long my hair is. Thats really piss me off. waste my time. Also I saw her didnt do the good job on those two customers. She wasnt friendly at all. I can not believe she still open this salon. Hope she will be close the shop so do not upset customers any more.

Went today and got some highlights put in to my hair.. Jackie did a AWESOME job. Im so pleased with the color. Its beautiful. She was very patient as I had to bring my 9month old with me and he got fussy towards the end. She was sweet, great conversations, etc.. Jackie always does my hair. Highly recommend her!!! Thank you Jackie!

I go to Smartstlyle every month for my trim. The girls there are wonderful. Very cheerful and talented very skilled artists. I would recommend both stylists there

Last time I was here, I wanted maybe an inch and a half cut. They cut off more than 4! I already had short hair, and after that, there wasnt much left. I went again some time later, thinking it would be better this time. I made an appointment, but when I got there, they said it would be an extra 30 minutes. I waited an hour and a half before anyone talked to me about my hair. A color was put in. Two walk ins had already pushed my appointment, and by the time the color was done, another snuck in, and without any wait, had her hair cut and styled. Its been over 2 hours past my appointment, and no one has asked about my hair. Dont bother with this place, especially if you have any sort of expectations of time or decency. Dont bother with making appointments. They obviously dont mean anything here.

This place is so horrible I asked for a trim guess what they did 1 ft omg I had long hair but since they cut a ft off I had short hair now

The woman who cut my hair was very friendly, but I didnt think she did a very good job listening to what kind of cut I wanted.I shaved my head in the summer and it was growing out. It was long enough to be transformed into a short pixie cut. I told her to make it like a pixie, and that she could use clippers in the back to do like a fade. Instead, she stuck with scissors and cut barely anything off! I couldnt really tell how little she did until I got home. I mean, she kind of shaped around my ears and hairline, but that was about it. The only reason I didnt complain about it later was because she charged me for a kid cut rather than an adult cut. (I had a $2 off coupon that she couldnt get to work, and since she knew she didnt do much she just rounded down.) I wont be returning.

Friendly not pretentious

I wish I could rate the service received by after signing into their system prior to leaving home I got an estimated 12:00 pm time for a lip wax. Well by 1:00 I still hadnt received the service and was informed there were still 3 people ahead of me. One of the reasons they were so backed up is because they were doing re-dos on dissatisfied customers. That should have been my first clue. If you have hours to waste and are desperate this might be the place for you.

If you go here ask for Kim and leave her a good tip because shes awesome :-)She always cuts my boys hair and she does a great job, she listens to what I want and what my son wants and she somehow combines it and makes it look great!
