I dont know what I expected here in plague rat infested central Texas. I got a haircut here 4 months ago. The stylists all wore masks and had plastic dividers between booths. They requested customers wear masks.Today, upon entering for another cut, I noticed that not all the stylists wore masks. Several plastic dividers were missing. There was no request for customers to wear masks. As such, one in eight people waiting wore masks. I got to sit in the waiting room with a coughing, wheezing, sneezing customer not wearing a mask. I left the shop when he started sneezing. I will never return.

I had been going to a old fashioned barber shop on Williams Drive. The haircuts you got were always hit or miss and seldom very good. Along with the haircut you had to listen to the barber rant about how much he hated the government. I decided I had to find another place.I had heard about Sports Clips, not to be confused with Great Clips where the clips are not that great.My first impression was that it was a very nice place. Gracie cut my hair.It was the best haircut I have gotten in years. I will definitely go back to her.

Was informed there was a 2 hour wait and when we turned around to leave was told good that’s what I like to see by the girl in the booth behind the register.Will never go back here after years of getting my hair cut there.

DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE!My husband used the online system to check in for his appointment. We live out in the country so it’s about an hour drive to the city. He gets to his appointment 3 minutes early and they told him he will now have to wait another 30 minutes. He told them he had been “in line” for over and hour and that it was his appointment time, they told him “sorry”. So rude!!!!This happened because a walk in came and apparently took his place in line. However when I called and spoke with the manager in charge she told me that they don’t skip people ever… this place is a joke!!!Don’t waste your time with this business that obviously doesn’t respect people’s time or show any kindness.

We saw the reviews about wait times and honestly that was fine. We only waited about 5 minutes with online check in beforehand. The problem was my haircut was also 5 minutes. I kept asking to have more cut but Patricia really wanted me out or something. I’ve never felt so rushed at a haircut place. I get that they are really busy but just doing what I ask to my hair takes about 10 seconds. I left with a lot of hair still on my head that I honestly still want cut. Will not come here again

It was my first time to check it out. Definitely not a WOW experience-its just a haircut. Ora cuts my hair then blames me for the mistake she made on the cutline on back of my neck. the 1.5 hr wait is absurd. I listened to two different staff person and neither could explain the benefit between register online vs walk-in and signing in on the computer. Ora didnt ask if I wanted my eyebrows trimmed or what kind of taper I want on the back or what length for my sideburns . Then suggesting a tip amount on the receipt was insulting. This was my first time-at my regular barber its 3-5 minute wait at the most. I am asked how Id like my haircut, eyebrows, razor cut back of neck and have never experienced a mistake and or blamed it was my fault because I moved-NEVER.Joe

I checked in via the app and this was my first time in the Georgetown location. I was greeted right away and only had to wait about 15 min. Sasha took care of me and was very personable. I will be back to this location to work with Sasha again soon!

So Eric was cool and all. I know these places have a high turnover rate so it’s always someone new. I have a pretty easy cut to do but man... he messed my hair up. Last time I had a family member go back within 48 hours they charged him AGAIN. I spent $70 at this place with tip and buying shampoo. Unfortunately I’m not going back because it’s just too unpredictable. I’m embarrassed to leave my house because the back of my head has a bowl haircut. I think I should have recognized a red flag when he insisted on my feeling the back of my head instead of offering a mirror like I asked.

For my 1st time there it went well. Just make sure you use the online check in cause without it youll be 20th in line an hour and a half wait depending on time of day etc. They did a great job. Ill go back

I do not recommend trying this salon out we set an appointment online booked in advance and we walked in and waited one hour as we watched more walkins just keep getting sent back to the back for their haircuts in front of us but didn’t have appointments over and over and over this is the second time this is happened to us there! Their appointment and check up in the system is a joke!!

Most of the time Sport Clips is great. These people have a diverse and friendly staff. I enjoy going there and will go back every two weeks at this point. LOL

All the stylists are super friendly but Georgia is the bomb. Tough to get in to see her sometimes. Shell have a 2+ hour wait on some days. Store is always clean and inviting. Cant go wrong with these folks.

I have been going to this location for awhile now and the service I receive is always very consistent and a great value. I have gone between a basic “buzz cut” and a more complex “scissor cut” hairstyle through the time I have been going to this location and the results have always been consistent and to my expectation. They do tend to get busy during peak times but the online check in makes it super easy and saves time. While I have worked with several people throughout my time going to the location (and all have been great), Lori is my go-to.

Checked in online before I arrived. I was supposed to wait 10mins. Ended up waiting almost an hour. Then when I finally was up I was notified it was cash only. Even though I’m a regular customer, there was nothing they could do as far as putting a charge on my account or something like that. So I just wasted a hour of my life. Never wrote a bad review about anything in my life, but sports clips is just a bad company. Nothing against the girls that work there, I know they’re just doing their job, but Sports Clips has failed me multiple times.Sports Clips creates no value for their customers.Theyre not fast.Theyre not cheap.And not to single anyone out at this location in particular, but in general they dont give excellent haircuts.

Had an amazing experience at Sport Clips. Even with all the problems covid has caused, they keep a clean, sanitized environment. It was one of the better haircuts I have received and Katia did an amazing job.

I definitely recommend Sierra. The best one in there. The reason I give a 4 star is because the other lady that cut my sons hair didnt do a good job. I felt she was in a hurry to clock out and literally once she was done with him she flew out like the wind. So Sierra was definitely so sweet and offered to fix his hair. I loved it. To be honest with you I totally forgot the name of the lady that cut my sons hair she had blonde hair.

Theres a lot of great things to say about this place, but theres one in particular I want to mention, because its very important.This is the first place Ive ever gone to get my hair cut - EVER - where they remembered that I wear glasses before they asked how my haircut looked, and handed them back to me first.I would keep going back here for that reason alone. But they also do a great job of cutting hair.

This location is a disaster. The workers dont look good, which doesnt give a customer confidence. Beyond that, my stylist pretty much told me what she cant do, not what she could do. When I said I would go somewhere else she said no, no and held me by the apron when I tried to leave. Creepy. Dont go there. Pay the extra money for a professional.

The best value for the dollar in town. An excellent haircut is provided, but that is not the reason I always come here. Its the MVP service. A shampoo with scalp massage, using Tea Tree products that feature a nice tingly sensation. A hot towel over the face that opens up the pours. A brief shoulder massage. This costs less than I was paying for just a haircut. The sports are nice. Watching the game is an entertaining way to spend your time while getting a haircut. If you have not had the MVP, you are missing the real attraction.

Really professional atmosphere. The stylists are really top notch. The last lady that cut my hair stated that I was her 23rd cut of her day, and it still looked great.Im really disappointed with Sport Clips choice to get politically involved and support questionable organizations on their website.My son and I will go elsewhere from now on.We will also post a copy of the website on our church bulletin board.

Love it! I got MVP and it was $26 but worth it! Staff was soo friendly! The lady who did mine was named Cynthia. She did a great job and added a few neat features like Mitch medium hold paste and helped it a lot!

This place is awesome. The ladies here always are professionals and do a great job cutting my hair as well as my boys. Super nice and for the most part take their time. Never rushing to cut your hair.

I did not enjoy the service or the quality of haircut here. I have had much better experiences with sport clips at other locations, however. If you want to roll the dice, try this location I guess. You may be told what you want and be argued with, maybe even scolded and belittled a little bit. Fair warning.

I was blown away with the service.I called to find out where the store was at ( Wolf Ranch ) area in Georgetown cause I just moved here an only use Sports Clips. I thought I had great service before but not only on the phone was the service Outstanding but it was even better once I came in. Besides a great bargain for a professional haircut, the MVP is a welcome and relaxing interlude any day. Georgetown has a very enthusiastic crew and theres always a sports program or magazine handy.Love my MVP and the free trims are great too!

Checked in online each of two trips. Showed up when it said to, still waited 35 minutes or more. Stylists are hit or miss, some really good, others not so much and they will push product on you like crazy. 3 stars only because I waited so long after checking in online they gave me a free cut.

Don’t bother making an appointment, just walk in and past all the patrons waiting for 15+minutes, with appts mind you. Find another one around town.

Great staff, outstanding service and COVID safe!

First, I want to say, that I only get my Haircut at SportClips, because the service and cut is usually excellent. This time, it was anything but.I checked in online, and arrived about 730.I waited for the first available stylist and overheard Cynthia, (who was my stylist), say Ive worked for 13 days, and cannot wait for my day off tomorrow.Cynthia called my name, and we went to the chair.I specifically told her that I want very little cut. I want to be able to gell my hair. I just want my hair to stop curling. So, she ended up cutting my hair extremely short. I thought she knew exactly what I wanted.By the time she cut my hair, it was too late, because I want my hair to be even all around.Im dissatisfied and did not have a pleasant experience.Its unfortunate, and hopefully it will not happen again.

Arrived late this sunday due to work constraints but I was able to check in on time. Store seemed very busy. Special thanks to Heidi, my stylist. She was very cordial and got me the quick cut I needed (I didnt have time for the MVP). She soldiered through obvious back pain, having seen plenty of customers already, and was very nice the entire time. Shes a credit to your company!

First off, not a sports fan, however the passion the employees had for what they are doing is great! Every time I go in Jessica tries out a new product. The MVP experience was new for me having only been to traditional barbers and well worth the extra $.

I just wanted to give a positive review for Cyn (Cynthia), she is very professional, great attitude and enjoys what she does. It was a pleasure enjoying her services. I hope that she can keep up that positive attitude and wish her great success.

My latest haircut was the best yet. It was way way past due to be cut. The lady took care of it as if it had only been two weeks. In fact it had been four or more months. Plus, she had never cut my hair before. I was truely impressed. I have frequented Sports Clips for the past 7 years. The operators are usually pretty good. Some not. This lady was exceptional.

I asked for a 2 on the sides and a 3 on top. What I got was a full ball cut. Terrible!

I requested Kat, She is the best barber at this location. I showed her a picture of the hair style I wanted and she duplicated it with perfection.

I asked for a fade and got shaved. My edges weren’t cut right and I have a small bald spot on the back of my head. During the shaving of my head the lady was very aggressive and cut me.

I got my haircut done at a this location twice and got my ear cut both times. on top of it i never got the right hair cut that i wanted. i left with my face, neck, shoulders and my entire body covered in hair somehow. i dont recommend getting your haircut done here unless you want to pay for two haircuts in one day

This is now my favorite place to get my haircut. When I go they will style my hair and offer products that work. Was having a really bad dandruff problem. Tried home remedies to weird products off Amazon. Went here and my stylist hooked me up with some product that eliminated it in 2 days. Huge props and shout out to my girl Edwina.

My husband and son frequent sport clips together, the price is well worth the experience.The staff here is pretty good, a little disorganized and sometimes you have a lengthy wait because it seems just a bit, there really is no telling!I suggest looking for coupons as well before you splurge on a MVP.

The cut my kids hair and do a great job

Never trust this place to cut your hair or beard. My fiance went to a stylist there named Lourdes to get a trim on his hair and beard. He likes his beard long and he told her that. While she was trimming his beard and kept saying that his fiance (me) will like it much better when shes done, even though he kept telling her no we both like it long. She cut off at least 4 inches, which probably took 4 or 5 months for him to grow! Her job is to listen to the customer and not just do whatever she wants. We will NEVER go back to this place or any other Sportsclip and I do not recommend anyone go. EVER.

Great staff good cut wish there was a barber

I sat there for over a hour waiting on Sasha. I requested her as my stylist. Checked in on line. It told me to arrive at 12.48. So I got there about 12:30. Just because I was already close by. Finally my turn come up and Sasha disappears for 45min. So I finally asked someone and they said she went to go eat lunch. Knowing that I was sitting there. So I left. Not so much as a sorry or how can we fix it. Nothing. Terrible customer service. The bad part is leaving this bad review is about all you can do. Oh well . Just won’t return.

I had a wonderful experience, my stylist was professional and highly skilled. The shop is clean, comfortable, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
