What can I say, Alan was great! Im so happy I was referred to his shop. I just moved to the area and I bottomed out on a back road and thought there was damage that might cost me hundreds of dollars. Alan himself looked at my vehicle and had it back to normal in under 20 mins time and the cost was super friendly to say the least. Its great to know theres a reliable/honest shop in the area that I can go to if I ever have any issues with my vehicle in the future. Thank you Alan!

Not many auto shops are called honest. Ive been to Alans a handful of times now for urgent repairs impeding the safety of my car. I feel completely comfortable coming here and never once feel cheated or taken advantage of like o have at other shops. Today, my car was unable to be driven safely. While they had a full schedule, they knew they couldnt allow me to drive in such a dangerous state. While the repairs are temporary, they will hold easily until there is more availability in the schedule. Im so grateful for their kind hearts and morals. I cannot recommend Alan and his shop enough. And the prices have always been extremely fair, even under such pressing situation . Id give 100 stars if I could. Thank you!

I’ve been in the auto industry since 1984 been a lot of years in and out of dealerships for my work. So being around kind of gives me a good gage as to how service dept rolls. Dealers advertising 19.95 for a oil change to get in there and up sell you while you’re there, Classic bait and switch deal. But I came here with my dash lit up like a Christmas tree and brought it in diagnosed it and had me up and running in no time. But here’s what impressed me most outside of their professionalism and welcoming feeling you get when you are there, But had an issue they quoted me a price and didn’t try to up sell me or anything. The problem I had could have cost a lot more money and profit for them but they told me what I needed and in fact with everything thing said and done was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a service dept. So a great big shout out to Alan and Traci for their care for me and my problem and how fair their prices are.

Allen hung up on me very unprofessional behavior. Allen was rude to my wife who has seizures by hes rude an unprofessional talking caused my wifer to have a server seizure. My wife is disabled due to the seizures. She cant be stressed out. On top of that he couldnt fix the car. So had to have the car towed to another shop to get it fixed. Allen said the car was in pieces the only thing was off of the was the manifold. The other shop said they could fix. The other shop said it wouldnt be that expensive to fix. Allen lost out on our business. Allen has a short temper to anyone who talks he will not listen to anything anyone has to say. I Will NEVER refer anyone to his shop.

My whole family has Alan work on our vehicles because he is trustworthy and honest. We recently bought some tires from them and the price they got them for was less than what we were quoted, rather than keep the difference they took it off our bill. Knowing that a mechanic is looking out for your best interests can be a challenge to find but once you do it is such a relief. I cannot recommend this shop enough!!

Im a sprinter driver and delivered in Georgetown early morning. I called Alans to see if they could change spark plugs. They got me in the very same day saving me money on a hotel. Very professional and true to there quote. Will use them in the future if the need arises.

I have used Allen several times to repair everything from my work vehicle to my daughters car. He is very professional, does great work, and gets it done on time! Allen has always been honest with which repairs were necessary and which repairs were more cosmetic and optional. It is very refreshing and comforting to know I have a repair shop I can turn to and get an honest evaluation.

Amazing customer service. Extremely polite, up front and honest, and willing to help me out any way they could. Would highly recommend for anyone with any kind of car troubles. Moving cars in at night was a big plus, to avoid theft or unexpected damages.

This place was such a godsend to us. Our transmission on our van went out not far from their shop on our way to TN for vacation with 3 kids in tow. They went above and beyond to calm me down and make sure we were ok and helped in every way they could! I can never say enough great things about Tracy and Allen! They are amazing people and they got our van up and running while we rented a car to continue our vacation. They were constantly updating me. I never had to call and ask for a status. Excellent customer service and mechanical work. They completed a thorough diagnosis on my truck and either James or Alan called during each step of the process to explain mechanical isssues, gave fair estimates, and finished maintenance in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this shop.

We have faithfully used the same mechanic for the past few years and on a whim we decides to try Alans auto because we were having trouble with our car and we were foolish to believe that someone with a much bigger garage would be better equipped to handle the issue. Boy were we wrong. Alan himself ran a diagnostic and insisted to us that the problem was our fuel pump. He quoted us a price that was pretty high so I urged my husband to call our mechanic and see what he would charge. His price was very reasonable, but Alan was willing to match it if we furnished our own part which was no big deal. After telling us he had checked out other possible parts of the car that were causing trouble and that the fuel pump was definitely the problem, we trusted him enough to let him put a new one in. Less than 24 hours later the car has the same problem that was supposed to be solved with the new fuel pump. When we contacted him and asked him what he was going to do about his mistake, he said Im not in the business to make friends, Im in the business to make money. I already gave you a price break on the repair etc. This kind of attitude is exactly why I decided to write this review. I dont believe he ran tests on all possible trouble parts in the car and simply assumed that it was the fuel pump. He confirmed to my husband that he was not 100% sure it was the fuel pump after the repair had been completed. I plan on filing complaints and writing negative reviews on as many sites and with as many sources as possible. I understand every business is out to make money, but this is by far the rudest and most despicable display of good customer service I have ever seen. I wouldnt recommend this shop if it was the last shop in town. Save yourself the time aggravation and wasted money and go elsewhere.

I have taken two cars there. They recently did a vehicle inspection for me (only $37) after purchasing a used car, they replaced a tail light for free and educated me about the transmission. They are friendly, honest and care about their customers safety and pocketbook. Its best to make an appointment but they are very accommodating.10/2/2017 update: I continued to take our cars to Alan for almost four years, and I have always been pleased with the service. When I moved away from Georgetown and got a diagnosis of a problem on a car from a mechanic I did not know, Alan and Tracy were very helpful in giving me advice and cost comparisons over the phone. I highly recommend their service.

Amazing customer service! Alan was super when helping me. I had an older car and the lug nuts were pretty much rusted/fused onto the stems. I am a female, and I prefer to work on my own vehicles. However, there are certain jobs that can defeat me, especially when it comes to needing the proper tools or arm strength. And, there are many places that treat you different if you are a female-but not Alan. The greatest part, was that I had all of my own replacement parts and when calling to other places, they told me they were not able to use outside parts. I understand why, but Alan said No problem! I will definitely bring him more business, and I am forever grateful for not being treated like a dumb girl!

Alans Auto Care was phenomenal!! While on a road trip, I heard a strange sound coming from underneath my car and found them online. They saw me quickly when I called with only 15 minutes of advance notice, and were extremely welcoming. They were very honest and took me back to show me exactly what was wrong, fixed it in about 5 minutes, and charged a very reasonable price. They even checked my fluids since they knew I was going on a long drive, and took the car out to make sure they had fixed the noise!! UNBELIEVEABLY nice and welcoming, I would highly recommend!!!

Im traveling from Toledo, Ohio down to Florida. Without even asking me first, my alternator decided Georgetown, Kentucky was a good place to stop working, at about 6 am. This was the only place that opened at 6 am so I drove there hoping for the best. I wasnt disappointed. Very nice people that helped out a traveler in need. 👍👍

My starter failed at a nearby gas station on the way to Michigan. As a traveler, I was vulnerable to being overcharged. After talking to Tracy on the phone, I decided to take a chance and have the car towed to Alans. Good choice. I was treated well. I was given a estimate of the costs up front with good, better best options for the replacement starter. The repair was fast well under 2 hours. The overall cost with reasonable. Alan was able to tell me why Id experienced 3 starter failures in under 60k miles...oil from filter leaking on starter...something my trusted mechanic in Michigan had failed to diagnose.Alans is a great choice for travelers with car trouble.

I have had nothing but a great experience when I visited Alan at Alans Auto Care. I was in a bad spot with my truck and he went the extra mile to not only make sure the work was done correctly but then followed up on it a few weeks later. The price was completely fair and much more affordable then it could have, or rather, should have been. They charged me a $155 diagnostic fee. Their diagnosis was that I needed to take it to the dealer because they couldnt properly diagnose the issue. We will not go back.

My car malfunctioned while passing through town and I happened to stay overnight near this shop. In the morning they came and got me and the car, fixed the car, and even helped my get breakfast.
