This place is awesome! As a person who enjoys working out but doesnt like most gyms, I couldnt be happier to have this place so close to us. I have been working out at home for a few years now but have been wanting more variety and some guidance to break a plateau but dreading going back to a gym. I reached out to get some training sessions and ended up working with Nick, who is awesome. Hes also the director and runs a tight ship- gym is always clean and orderly, with a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Ive been coming to this gym for 2 months now, 4-6 days/week and cant say enough good things. On top of the positives previously mentioned, the equipment is great quality and variety, though the footprint is not huge it rarely feels congested, other members have been welcoming and encouraging, and great covid mitigation measures. My wife and I both love this place and plan on working with their trainers and exercising out here for a long time to come!

This is by far the best gym that I have been a member of!!! It is always clean and the equipment is in great condition. The staff especially Nick, Landon, and Ty is super friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. They also have a great variety of fitness classes and specials on personal training sessions.

Nick and the crew at HiTone are awesome! They keep the gym clean and are always their to answer any questions you may have. They go out of their way to make sure you feel value in your membership there. The gym has new equipment and is never really overly crowded. I have been going there for about a year now with no plans to change gyms.

The HiTone Fitness family is amazing! I been working out here for two years! My whole life has change because of the positive environment created! I’ve made some good friends here! This gym has made me feel very comfortable as a African American! It’s very diverse with great energy from everyone! I spend at least 3-4 times here because I enjoy it so much! The best gym in Gastonia I’ve ever been apart of since moving here!

I joined HiTone in January of this year. I love everything about it. I couldn’t be more happy with my experience here.

Pretty solid place use to be Workout anytime Gastonia but after the pandemic it switched to hitone fit.Beats planet fitness because its open 27/7 u can workout late nights on weekends!5 star 🌟

I felt like I was discriminated against the whole time I was there tried to workout but nick and Landen these guys made me feel so uncomfortable. I asked the whole staff why do Landen stare at me in a awkward way bro made me feel so uncomfortable so I guess nick didnt like it he started talking crazy about me to the staff I was just there to workout and not cause any trouble I liked the gym its cool and laid back but Ill never be back these guys should not be working there...

I have been with this gym since it open and have never had a bad experience. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The rare times there has been an issue they have always been quick to address and correct. This a small gym with a family atmosphere but offers many of the same amenities and services as the larger gyms.

This is showing under my husbands name. I’m Ashley. Been a member here for about 4 months. I am so happy with the staff and the gym itself. The equipment is always organized and clean! So glad as a busy mom I can come in any time with it being 24/7 and workout when I can!

UPDATE: The owner Nick just called and apologized for the staff not being there to let me in. He was so professional and seemed very nice. Going in later today to take a look around again!Just moved to the area and was looking forward to coming here. Stopped by during open hours and the door was locked and no one at the front desk to let me in. Went home and called to discuss pricing and services offered but couldn’t even get anyone on the phone.. I tried calling 3 different times and phone just kept ringing. Clearly they don’t need any new business.

I finally decided to start working out again. I was a member for less than a week. Another patron thought I was pretty instead of approaching me himself he asked a EMPLOYEE for my name and that EMPLOYEE looked up my information and gave it to this man. When I spoke to the Manager Nick I was given the mans name....apparently this gym has a issue with giving out their patrons personal information. At this point Im not sure how much of my information was shared with this guy. The story changed too the guy looked on the computer and got my name himself...so everything is accessible. If you dont value your privacy this IS DEFINITELY the gym for you!!!I feel violated to say the least.

Love this gym! Its nice not having to wear masks and we love the friendly staff.

Awesome gym since my 1st day here. Friendly staff, professional with a very diverse atmosphere ranging from young to older. I highly recommend this gym. It has all the essentials plus a handful of membership perks. One thing that solidified my love for this gym was the day I left my car and motorcycle keys inside a locker in the locker room and I returned 2 days later and my keys were still there. I wasnt driving my car at the time so i didnt notice the keys missing until I needed my car lol. I retraced my steps and they were right where i left them. That says alot about the crowd that goes there and the safety of the location. This place gets at 10/10 from me.

I went to inquire about different gyms in the area as I am new to the NC area. I have been to a couple and HiTone stood out from all of them. The customer service is exceptional. All of the staff is extremely helpful and the Director is very informative! It feels like a “no judge” zone and everyone wants to see the next person succeed. It’s very clean and they are taking COVID procedures seriously which is calming during this unpredictable time. Thank you HiTone for giving me a space to work on my personal goals and for always making it a comfortable atmosphere to get away to. I would definitely recommend this gym to a friend as I already have to many!! Go check it out for yourself.

During the pandemic, they were charging me while they were closed. And on top of that, they were charging me more than my monthly fees. I had to file fraudulent charges on my credit card just to get my money back, hitone was not interested in returning my stolen money to me. Reason I was told for this was so that they can pay employees. Not my fault you didnt take advantage of SBA loans for this exact reason. Poor business practices, will never use any hitone facilities in the country.
