I read the reviews posted here and decided to hire Mr. Hicks company to do pruning on several ornamental trees in our new homes yard. The price was more than fair, the service in coming out to quote an estimate was timely, pleasant, and precise. More than that, the work was perfection and as the reviews say before us not a stick was left out of place. Clean up was better than our own weekly yard work efforts! Tommy Hicks Tree Service completed a large job for me this week that involved several trees which required careful handling for removal because they were close to my house. Tommy Hicks, owner/operator worked with his crew and did an excellent job. They were both skilled and careful and did a through cleanup at the end of the job. I would highly recommend them to friends and anyone looking for a professional tree removal service that is reasonable and goes the extra mile to make customers happy. On top of this, Tommy and his crew were very personable and kept me posted about their progress or any issues with the job. I will be having them come back soon to remove more trees from my property!

Can’t recommend Tommy and his crew enough. They came out quickly when a tree came down and cleared everything (in hard rain no less). Do yourself a favor and hire them if you need tree service.

Tommy Hicks and his crew did an incredible job for me and my neighbor. In the aftermath of Florence, I had one dead tree down on my utility shed and one very tall tree with multiple branch breaks. Tommy answered my call right away, came when he said he would, and provided me with an estimate so reasonable that my neighbor and I agreed to have our respective projects done right away. Tommy went out of his way, and even moved for me a big lawn tractor with a dead battery. The work was amazing to watch and he cleaned up every speck of debris. Fantastic!

Tommy came to my home today, Don Granger, and cut down multiple trees and pruned many others. Tommy and his team did a tremendous job of communicating what was going to be done and what I could expect. Unprofessional! I need to have a tree removed, and Ive tried to contact them many times over the past 3 weeks and no one ever answers the phone. I started off by using their contact us form on their website, no reply via phone or email through that. A week later, I left Tommy Hicks a voicemail, no call back from that. Last week, I left one more voicemail even stating that Id left a voicemail previously and Id appreciate someone call me back, still no call back. This is horrible customer service, and no one should have to work that hard to GIVE them business. Ill be taking my money to a tree removal business who deserves it and can actually return a phone call.
