I only went for an oil change and wiper replacement so my service review doesn’t go into depth. However, the guy at the counter was super friendly, and another man in the waiting area with me really helped me out. I let the counter know ahead that I only had x amount of cash on me, so I’d likely only be able to get the oil change. I left my wallet at home so I was stuck using the only cash I had on me. I mentioned this when I dropped it off bc I didn’t want them to add any services that were due like I had originally stated on the phone because I knew it’d take me over my limit. He told me I could use better wipers which I completely agreed with but again, I didn’t have the money. The guy in the waiting area with me dropped $20 on the counter in case my oil change went over and to go toward the wipers, and then the guy at the counter said he’d cover the rest. Both told me to pay it forward. I don’t see that kind of thing happen outside or viral videos, so it was pretty awesome to be a part of that. Paid forward to a down on his luck man outside of a gas station months later who was asking people for food. Told him to spend $20 on whatever food and drink he wanted and he was so appreciative and nice. Will def be back here and will def work on starting a pay it forward chain myself in the near future.

As a new resident I was recommended this shop and was not disappointed. I brought my car in for a diagnosis and was expecting to pay a lot for repairs. As it turned out it was a minor problem and a very low cost to fix. They earned my trust and I will be a repeat customer. Thank You.

Ive been taking my vehicle to Midas for a long time now. Theyve been able to get my car in and repaired quickly. I cant say that Ive had any difficulties with this company. Travis has always been good to work with and has gone out of his way to make sure everything was done correctly.

They saved me a lot of cash. I went to the dealership service center and they told me I need much work done on the car and gave me a huge estimate. So glad I ran into Moe at MIDAS and after inspection of the vehicle I didnt have to get much work done on the car and price was just right. Definitely go there for car repair. They are surely fair in their pricing. Plus love the new look!

I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve been going to the same garage for over 20 years, but they were booked solid. Midas in Gardner got me an appointment in 2 days. The work was satisfactory and the price was less than quoted! I may have found my new garage.

Arrived without a appointment. Greeted pleasantly. I explained the problem with the brakes, and told them I understand that it could take time since I didnt have a appointment. They were quick to take in the car and I had a estimate for repairs before they closed. They told me I also had a upper radiator hose leak. So I also approved the replacement of the hose along with the brake work and oil change. After I hung up, I received a copy of the estimate via a text message. Upon reading the estimate I noticed they were charging me about $226 labor $65 for coolant and about $85 for the upper radiator hose. I thought these charges were extreme so I called in the morning to cancel that work and just proceed with the brake work. When I went to pick up my car, which was repaired at a very reasonable amount of time. They reminded me of the leak in the hose. I wanted to give them a chance to explain the upcharges so I asked if their are new owners. Which I was told yes. I told them I have three cars that I have been bringing here for many years. But with the charges totaling $378 to replace a hose questions if I will be returning in the future. I told him I ordered the hose next door at Auto Zone for $37.99 and was going to be charged around $85 for the same part there. (same hose, I took the parts number from the estimate) he had no response. I told him that the labor is 15 minutes to replace the hose. So over $200 labor charge? He said the system needs to be drained. It still doesnt take over half hour to complete job. He was pleasant, but had no answer for the upcharges. I havent even checked the upcharges on the brakes yet. I went to replace the hose today. Hose was fine. Replaced a broken clamp for $6. Saved myself $372. I trusted the old owner, never hesitated to bring a car there out if convenience, trust and fair pricing.This is the last time I will be bringing a car to Midas. I do not trust them anymore. I know they need to make a profit, but more than doubling charges on parts and labor is just wrong to me. I will take my cars elsewhere.

I was very surprised by their availability. I was expecting to have to schedule out a week, but it was only a day in advance that was great. Customer service was great, they called and gave an estimate of repairs. The only issue was they were extremely expensive. The brake job was definitely something I knew would be expensive but man it wasn’t easy on the wallet. I would still go back but be much more selective on the services I used them for.

They did a good job with my oil change with a great price using an online coupon. 👍 While about to do a tire rotation they did however try to get me to buy all new lug nuts stating that they were swollen. I ended up not doing the rotation and brought it somewhere else where they rotated the tires stating that there was no issue with the lug nuts. Beware of up charges.

Couldnt get muffler that was needed. Did the next best thing to fix exhaust. They welded straight pipe to fix leaking couplers. Will have entire exhaust system replaced in coming year.

Great place .. they do great work, I highly recommend them . They helped me in a pinch with a plastic piece that was once dangling from the front end of my car.. Ive been going there ever since. I trust the workers

I wanted to update my review of this Midas and the people who work there, I had brought the car in to be checked and afterwards I was going to stop at the bank to deposit money, but when I went to deposit the money, I couldnt find it, I was in a panic, I was thinking that maybe I somehow dropped it getting into the car at my house or maybe it was between the seats in the car, I was now searching, hoping it was in the car and not laying in my driveway where anyone walking by could pick it up, then I went to the passager side and there on the floor was the money, which had fallen out when my bag tipped over. Now this proves my point of how honest the people who work at this Midas are, the mechanic could have easily pocketed the money and that would have been a horrible end to this story, but because of her honestly this story has a happy ending thank goodness😄👍Midas still has Great service and definitely honest customer service, would definitely recommend the Midas in Gardner MA .

I used to work at this Midas and ill tell you they have a really good welder hes a younger gentleman and his name is Eddie I advise you to recommend him if you need anything welded on your vehicle. Especially in custom exhaust pipes he is also extremely good at. The owner Travis magg is a very reasonable and very nice person as well but overall great location and the front desk woman Mandy is a sweetheart its very easy to get to its right off the exit and right after the McDonalds after the lights on the left

Went there to have my tire taking off my rim and put on another rim asked them to look at my tire because it was low on Friday and when I brought it in on Saturday. Was told everything was okay when I paid my bill. Woke up on Sunday morning and my tire was flat had to bring it to Firestone in Leominster MA. To have the nail taken out and get it patched where as Midas could have fixed it when I told them about the leak.

I have been going to Midas for years and have been completely satisfied with them.

Not very professional. Went in for a scheduled oil change and tregular maintenance and ended up waiting all morning for it to be finished.Quality of service has gone WAY downhill, I will go elsewhere in the future.

While I’ve been taking my car here for many years I believe this will be my last. The full synthetic oil change doubled in price and I don’t feel the value is there to spend $80 on an oil change

Brought in my new truck that we’ve only had a few months to get an oil change, three days later my check engine light and VSC light are on and my vehicle is showing low oil. Now I get to spend hundreds of dollars at the dealership to try and diagnose what they screwed up. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

The new owners of Midas are extremely rude and disrespectful to there customers! I’ve was going to Midas for years but they’ve lost my business as of yesterday. I have a call and case in with there corporate that’s how bad the experience was.

These guys are top notch!Orginal shop I bought tires were not taking any walk ins, even though I tried to schedule appointment in advanced and was refused then over 2 weeks ago...and Im so glad.People here at midas helped me out tremendously, receptionist was very nice also as the technicians in helping get in and out in no time.Awesome crewI will recommend any one to come here for service.Thanks a ton you guys rock.

I had my wife bring her suv here and she was told her suv needed rear brake pads, parking brake cables and hardware. at over $700.. I am a professional mechanic and just did not have time to do the parking brake adjustment. Of course i did not pay midas to do it, i just took a day off from work and pulled the rear brakes apart check the shoes and cables and parking brake parts, everything was as expected ( neer perfect) condition. costed me $0.99 for brake slide grease. Its been months now and all brakes and parking brake work as if new. So if you plan to bring your car here, buyer beware!!
