Ive been doing my own taxes for a few years, using a very well known online service until I could no longer finish and file a prior year return that I had sat on because of personal issues. IF YOU WANNA GET CHARGED $400 TO DO YOUR TAXES STEP RIGHT IN. I had very good feelings about this Tax Preparer when I heard people at my job saying he was very a “Legit” guy when it comes to doing taxes (since Andre Sugars was a former employee). So I went ahead and took the advice from many. When I came in for my appointment I was getting checked in by the lady in the front desk. I first asked how much I would be charged for the entire preparation and was told “It’s usually a small fee, but it can be payed up front or be deducted from your tax return.” I chose for it be deducted from my taxes. Since I was told it would be a small fee and I filed which was about 1 hour. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I had later found out by a close friend who went for an appointment, stating that he charges $400 for the entire tax preparation (which he ended up walking out). At this point I feel like I have been robbed! As someone who has been doing taxes for 15 years, it should be every right to know what your CUSTOMERS are gonna pay up front before even starting the entire tax preparation and communicating better with your EMPLOYEES by not giving FALSE INFORMATION! Andre NEVER told me how much his services were, until I had called him about it. It seems like they don’t want CUSTOMERS to know how much they charge by choosing it be deducted from your return, instead of paying up front!I DEFINITELY WON’T COME TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN! AND I WILL BE LETTING PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THIS!AVOID THIS TAX BUSINESS AT ALL COST!

Andre Sugars has been doing our taxes for years. He always gets us a great return in an honest and legal way, but he does so much more. When we first started seeing him he helped us with our goals: saving to buy a house and maximizing our return. Through the years our goals have changed. I went to Champion Tax for the first tine this year for tax season 2019- it was the best experience ever! I’ll admit it had a lot of fear because I had dealt with my previous tax man for the past almost 20 years and only changed because he retired. I’ve never had someone else’s retirement affect me in such a positive way! If I’d known how efficient Andre Sugars was I’d have made the switch YEARS ago, seriously. My refund was even better this year due to his knowledge of write offs that I guess were completely unknown to my previous man. So yeah, sometimes change is good.
