Right from the start she was professional, really knew everything I asked, was personable and warm (like talking to a friend) answered everything plus to give me enough info to make decisions. She is the BEST in her job, I wished all service people were like here. So very kind and really knew everything from billing, pricing, setting up appt for install, doing vacation holds, telling me about Smart Care and what it involves. Our apartment FINALLY upgraded the internet from 10 mbps to CSS and we am SO excited. Weve never had their internet before, and as far as customer service goes, Catsy and Zach have both been super helpful. I live in a Menlo Park condo and and Axel Robles has been our service provider for many years. From experience he is a gold star employee for Consolidated Smart Systems - I only hope Consolidated truly appreciates what a great employee they have! He responds immediately to calls for help and works his schedule around making a house call. I have had Axel come early morning or later than 8:30 PM - he really maintains a good relationship and wants to help all his clients. The best is he diagnoses the problem in a flash!!!!!!!! To send a text and get an immediate appointment response is truly amazing.You can check that I very rarely use Yelp or other evaluations - but I truly feel Axel needs a special thank you for accommodating his clients in such a personable way and above all knows what he is doing!!!!!!!! These positive reviews have got to be fake right? It has to be some kind of sick joke…DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS COMPANY.I’ve had CSS for two months now and it has had problems consistently during this time. The internet cuts off randomly and they are always performing maintenance. To top it all off, they charge a $100 fee to send a tech to fix whatever problem may be occurring. The people who run this company are grossly incompetent, and they don’t seem to care.
I have not had service since Jun 26. 2021. As if this writing it is July 19 2021. It seems impossible to get a tech to service me, due to the fact I had at least 3 appointments that cancelled or never showed up. The company says that they have outages in the area, but the truth is all my neighbors have service but me. My bill is up to date but no one seems to care about getting my WiFi back in service. If I could choose another company, I would have a long time ago, but they have a contract with my apartment. I’m going to talk with the management to see if they can get a contract from another company during the renewal period.
I called about upgrading a receiver and I must say that was the best customer service Ive ever received from a cable/satellite provider. Catsie was very professional and really helpful with the whole process and very friendly.

Would give a 0 star if i could. complete trash. my boyfriend just called to ask why the wifi wasn’t working & they said “power outages” and hung up. on top of that, never received our free month of wifi. i’ve emailed them countless times & they don’t reply. it’s ridiculous i pay almost $80 a month for wifi that doesn’t work ever. has there been outages for 2 months? maybe you shouldn’t make us pay for something that doesn’t work.
Kiesha at Consolidated saved my sanity. I live in a condo and several of us have been having tech problems. I was on the phone for 40 minutes talking to various reps and tech support people at other places (DirecTV, the head office of Consolidated) and those people were useless or aggravating or both. Finally a neighbor gave me ConsolidatedSmartSystem phone number and Kiesha was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. This was in sharp contrast to everyone else. She listened and she helped. Which was exactly what I needed. I hope she gets a raise!
A 10 day waiting period for a field tech to come out is ridiculous! This world runs on internet right now. We use it to work from home, do school, and have entertainment. They promised “Ready to Go” Wi-Fi and it will now take 10 days.

My apartment complex emailed an offer Consolidated had for 3 months of free internet with no install fee. Just the first months payment was all that was required. I talked with Keisha and she was really nice. She answered all of my questions about making sure my new internet wont overlap with my existing plan with Spectrum. I am currently having an issue logging in to the website but Im pretty sure its just down. They have good pricing from basic internet to high speeds. I would definitely recommend.

This team is Great. Customer service at #1. I had a good time talking to one of the customer service representative ALEIGHA. She helped me with all my questions/ concerns and was very helpful in guiding me next steps to be taken.
Our configuration is rather confusing and gets a little technical, but Catsie hung in there with me as we brainstormed the issues. She came up with an excellent solution and worked around the six televisions in our condo that confuse all of us. She was patience, responsive, knowledgeable and professional.

The fact that there are so many 5 star reviews and their score is still low should show that no matter how many fake reviews they add, the truth about the terrible quality of their service will still prevail. By far the worst quality internet EVER! It goes out at least twice a month (completely down) and daily issues with extremely slow service. My son can’t even do his online learning without being constantly kicked off. So frustrating.

Horrific. Got new CC tried to login and update card on file. Their customer password reset isn’t working. They cancelled my service within a week. We called and put a new card on file. Service is down for 5 days, next available tech in 7 days (12 days down!). No internet while we pay for it. Unbelievable. Wouldn’t want this for anyone. Save yourself from Consolidated Smart Systems.
The only time I had to contact this company was to close my account due to a move. The customer service is high quality. Catsie made sure I was taken care of, and was very personable! Would use again in a heartbeat.
Christian was very helpful. He found my apartment complexs discounts for me without me even knowing they existed too. Very easy to understand too, explained my options and was very no-nonsense about the terms. Zero pressure, zero sales. I am month-to-month, and also brought my own equipment, and this was all easy to request from him unlike many other providers like Comcast (uggh), Spectrum, etc. They all had really unhelpful sign-up process and I felt like I was giving them more information about myself than I even asked for to even begin requesting service. The absolute worst internet service Ive ever experience. Had better internet service in third-world countries. I cant grasp how Consolidated Smart Systems offers service in Los Angeles and cant offer reliable service. Every single day, I have to deal with a temporary outage.
Trash company.. This modem was in my unit when I moved in with a free sign I tried it out, the service was horrible I canceled the service and was charged $75 before the free period was over I did get that back after calling. Now I’m charged $200 for the modem as I travel for work and it hasn’t been 2 weeks since I canceled and they’ve charged me already as if I want to keep their horrible service modem. Give me time to return to town unprofessional company. Why amI to return what was already in my place when I moved in so inconvenient
The customer service that I got on this particular service call was excellent. Aleigha was the customer service agent I spoke with and she was very friendly and helpful. Eric, the service technician, called before coming the next day and arrived within the scheduled window. He fixed the issue in no time! The only thing I wasnt sure about was that, originally, they tried to schedule my service call for a week out (literally one week) even though my TV wasnt working at all. Not sure what that was about, but when I expressed my displeasure at that time frame, they did accommodate me for the next day...so I guess I cant complain. I think the customer service at this company has definitely gotten better over the last few years. I hope they keep it up!
I initially chose Consolidated Smart Systems as my internet provider because their packages were by far the most economical. I eventually decided to switch to another provider because the internet service was spotty at times and outages were more common than not.The 4-star rating is an average for the provider itself (3) and its customer service (5). I wanted to give a special shout out to Lisa, who I believe works in the billing department. Even though I called to let them know I was leaving, she continued to provide excellent service to make sure I was satisfied. She was very patient, very understanding, and very accommodating. CSS is definitely lucky to have someone like her on their team!
This is a review of CSS customer service. Today I had to speak with customer service for the first time because I forgot to pay my bill and my service was disconnected - my fault for not paying or checking my email. It’s been quite the year. The rep that answered my call, Aleigha, was very nice and reconnected me quickly. I was really stressed to wake up to no wifi this morning and expected some hellish hassle but had everything working again immediately after calling and paying my Jan bill.
People are good but the company’s internet service is terrible. Frequent shut down and slow recovery. I would not choose if I had another choice.

I recently switched over to Consolidated Smart because they were running a promotion in my building. Other than a few small stumbling points (mostly, it was a bit of a hassle to get a dedicated IP address to unblock incoming ports, but they were accommodating and responsive). My technician Cesar was great and made figured out some pre-existing wiring problems. He even followed up and then worked with the engineering team to sort out the port forwarding issue. I have been quite satisfied and the other day worked with my neighbor to get her setup. Shirley has been especially great through that process, I called to get the information for my neighbor, and she gave me her direct line so we could call back to get it set up without waiting on hold. She then followed up to make sure that we could get it done and set up an appointment. She has been on top of things and followed up with me via text (on the weekend) to confirm the appointment. The only thing I would improve is adding IPv6 compatibility, but they are working on that. Plugged directly into my router, I get about 900mb/s both up and down. Using wifi, I get around 350mb/s.

I have decided to change my Internet, TV and phone provider and chose Consolidated Smart Systems. First of all, the representative was sensation, smart and most understanding and easy to work with. I explain my data needs, and we together with her guidance, Shirley the top professional explained she will help me and make it easy to switch over. Internet speed that for my needs 200 MB is fine. Then we looked at the various Directv packages and choose Xtra which has all my desired channels. Shirley said if you want to add any others, which see you are not using much, we can modify the plans. Then for the phone, she was very helpful to assist me in the porting of my number which they will switch over Friday. Considering I called Wednesday this week and she has the install tomorrow Friday, I am very happy. Thanks to Shirley, a real professional!

She was very patient and didnt rush me into making any decisions until I was comfortable with all the information regarding the various plans and prices that was available to me. I appreciated her professionalism and friendliness as well. Great job Erika. My Technician was Sammy. He arrived as scheduled and explained what he was doing. He also didnt complain when he learned that the previous owner used Dish and the satellite was still functioning. This was news to us as well. He went about disconnecting and setting up our direct t.v..We were very grateful for his professionalism and how he explained the new service. Great job Sammy!

We recently joined Consolidated Smart Systems pilot program for their new Super Pods. We have been working from home for the past 7 months are our internet connection and WIFI signal would fade in and out in certain locations of our house. Great internet service. Ive been using Time Warner which is now Spectrum all of my life and had a lot of wifi/intermittent internet issues at my new apartment. I even upgraded internet speed but it did not resolve my problems. I switched over to Consolidated Smart Systems and immediately noticed the difference. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking for a fast service. A shoutout goes to Jessica and Erika in the customer service department. Do not use their service not even if they offer you 60 days free service. Even FREE is too expensive you’ll regret it. Where we live we don’t really have any other options (got a leasing contract) so do the math. As a tenant this company might even wanna make you think if you wanna renew your leasing contract again. Unless they fired this company and give us other options. For internet services. For cable services i can care less since i’ve never used them. But never would either.. that’s for sure

We had just gotten off the phone with another internet provider and they were rude and unhelpful and told us they couldnt send someone out to help service us for another 3 weeks.... So we decided to try Consolidated Smart Systems and they set us up on the phone and got our WIFI working in under 10 minutes. The internet is set up and all of our devices work perfectly and its cheaper than that other internet provider! Thanks!

WARNING: UNETHICAL BUSINESS: Consolidated Smart SystemsI wanted to give zero star if I could. Yes, this is that kind of complaint.Consolidated Smart Systems has recently jacked up prices without informing their existing customers.Trust me I would have gone to another internet provider if I had better choices.Where I live is very unique, there are only a few providers that offer services here. I reside at an apartment complex in Redondo Beach, CA.Consolidated Smart Systems convinced you to put the bill on auto-pay in the beginning when you sign up, by offering X amount of dollars off.This way you probably wont look at every single invoice every month.That is how they got you!I have just recently checked on one invoice in July - Consolidated Smart Systems increased it by $6 per month. So I called.By the way, Consolidated Smart Systems employees who answer the phone definitely know all of their shady conducts. When you call, do expect that they know you will complain and theres absolutely nothing they would do. They are great listenersI called and asked about the price increase. They told me that a notice was sent a month prior, which was a lie. Consolidated Smart Systems lied to my face as I was on the phone.I can locate every single e-mail in my inbox about their monthly bills, payment confirmation, and service alerts, etc. You would think a notice for price hikes would be there. NO, ITS NOT.So the guy on the phone goes Oh OK, I will send you a copy right now.Its September 1 2020, the increase was in effect since July. Its ridiculous they send you the notice only if you call and ask about this.I have attached the BS email here for everyone to read. In midst of a pandemic, Consolidated Smart Systems jacked up $6 without telling their customers. $6 is not a lot and you can ask for it from your customers, BUT ONLY IN PROPER WAYS! NOT BY BEING SNEAKY!Aside from this incident, you may ask how about their internet service.I am sharing real experience here: Speed is actually pretty good, but the service disconnects a lot. And I mean disconnect, not lagging. When this happened too frequently, you want to reboot your modem. Soon you would be doing this like a pro because you would do a lot.Paying $50 after tax for this so-called 100MB Internet. Used to be $44.(again, they raised $6 right?)My invoices are also up here for you to view this ridiculously unethical business : Consolidated Smart Systems
