Clean office. The staff members were very helpful and professional. They were very positive regarding the whole process.

My mother called earlier to get some information and the lady who answered was very rude. If you dont like your job, then leave and find something else!

Excellent agency if your looking for immediate work. I applied today at 10 am and was working by 12 this afternoon. My assignment has already offered me overtime. They only have physical labor jobs, but if you need to work right away its fine. I didnt even have to take a drug test.

Select Staffing should close this location. All the ladys that work there should have another job in another field. They are very disrespectful, most of the women that work there are Latinas but they are racist. The office in El Segundo is much better they have better costumer service.

Select Staffing, is awesome. They are very strict, for reason that their business associates are very prestigious of higher class companys.They gave me an opportunity to work for a very well known Technology company, in which, I am still employed.Select Staffing, Gardena Branch Staff, are indeed very professional. However, they do not tolerate; unprofessional tardiness, absences.When I first signed on with Select, I informed them that I would really appreciate a full time, long term or temp to hire position. After leaving their office on the first day of signing on, they called me an hour after I left their office and offered me a 40 an hour week, long term position, and I grabbed it, even though it was out of my usual career experience, because I needed a job and was greatful. Its been 5 months, and Im still working for the same company in which Select offered me.I signed up with other staffing agencies, and have not yet been offered any position even when calling in or emailing them daily. Their response was always the same with each agency, We will call you when something comes up.Your career experience and job match, depends on you. This is not a business in any sense. I came into the office to enquire about employment opportunities and was immediately asked to provide my identification card and social security card rudely. I could immediately sense deep prejudice in their approach towards me. In providing the Identity card, I realised I forgot the social security card and politely ask that I would rush home and get it. The lady at front desk told to either bring it the following day or not to bother I could not believe my ears. I told her I only live 5mins away and will be back immediately. When I returned I stood at the front desk for 5mins by which time they realized I was not. I politely told them I had what they required, at which point another lady told me they dont have any employment opportunities for my type. In humiliation I walked out of this agency. Now that is what I call the select experience.

Use this agency at your own risk. Some of the women at the front desk are unprofessional. Seen it first-hand how they talked behind an applicants back (small confrontation ensued earlier). Instead of handling the situation, the women gossiped about the applicant. I could hear them because Im within earshot - for goodness sake.It has come to the point where talking to them generates stern looks and condescending remarks. Lower the dial on the attitude.

I worked for select 5 years ago i always say if it seems that if the ladies are a little eddgy remember they are human like us they work hard to find jobs for people that want to work thats a hard thing to do daily so i give the staff there respect people always quick to blame the staff for having a nasty attitude if you work with them they will work with you i find that people that says the staff is rude are usually the people being rude and nasty i would say all the staffing agencies have nothing on select im actually comming back to work for them my time there was a great one my checks were always on time and the staff was always nice to me and went out of there way to work with me i never got to say thank you thanks select

This comes from someone tht just got off wrk select staffing is great nd has been nothing more for me 2 days into the company I got temporary job lasted abt 2 days the following week I got a call for a long term job which Im currently at wrkin10.5 hrs a day with guaranteed hrs plus overtime also I keep getting calls for dif jobs all the time thanx to them I know 1500-2000 a month doesnt sound lik a lot but for me in can pay all bills nd support my kids wit it everyone loves more but u have to crawl before u walk .

This place it the worst agency . They stole so much ot money from its not even funny. I work at a place where I would work 10hours a day 4days a week. Just because its only 40 hours with is full-time dont mean I didnt do ot . OT is working more than 8hours or when you work the 7th consecutive day. Theyre full of it.

Yolanda is a horrible recruiter. Shes rude, hangs up in your face, and is always on her phone when I come to pick up my check. If these are the people you guys hire to help us. You should try again because every employee in this office is not the one for their job.

Very bad customer service.

It is one of the agencies with less professionalism and with favoritism to seven people. I worked in a bidega with another agency where by chance I found mark brother of Yolanda who is the worst person in this office. They found doing drugs with another colleague. The surprise was that the next day the brother placed him in another job, while the other colleague was discharged from the prison, not in accordance with that. I went to apply right here in Gardena with other colleagues and my colleagues. They gave me an application and they did not tell me that my documents are not good, since we all had the same problem that we do not have valid documents, but they did send them to work and they simply did not give me an application, that is called discrimination here and wherever

I work with Select, today I came to the agency to change my address, it is 11:30 a.m. they only told me that the women are not there, they can attend me, they are very unprofessional
