Writing this review because Brian was the only guy who cared enough to listen to me. He didn’t try to sell me on services I didn’t need, in fact he actually talked me out of a few things a previous shop wanted me to spend thousands on. That’s a whole other story! I had been searching for an FJ60 for quite some time. Craigslist, Bring a Trailer, want ads. They either needed lots of work, people wanted to take my wallet or they just seemed like too many steps (buy, assess, tire shop, then body shop, then lift kit, then...where to get parts... All so much).Enter Corsetti Cruisers. I spoke to Brian on a Friday afternoon and while he offered me some of his up and coming trucks, I wanted something within my specs (low miles, add a H55 Transmission). Within the next week, we were working together on a truck he located and began working to make it truly mine -- but whats more -- he didnt break the bank.Brian knows the FJ60 market. He knows their worth and when youre over market, hell tell you. He knows the pitfalls of what to look for and where (rust) and what to spend your money on and why. Example -- he convinced me to NOT do another paint job which he could have made money on, and rather go for a clay polish. The result was a likely ~10K savings.Brian loves these trucks, but that is clear. He knows what to do with these trucks and can do it all at his shop. Big or small.Pictured below is my 1985 white FJ60. Im the second owner. Just like I wanted -- All original interior. All original exterior. Original radio. No cracks. No rust. Then he made the updates... updated suspension (OME kit). New H55 5 speed, new clutch, knuckles rebuilt, AC converted, sound dampening, plus much more. All done by Corsetti Cruisers, all done REALLY well, all done in a VERY quick turn time. A true daily driver.Whats more... Whats the reason for all this?I step out into my driveway, start it up, back out, roll down the window... Put it in to first, let the clutch out... and you cant help but just... Smile.
