Refused to make me an appointment to come in and have my nails fixed after someone else did a bad job... she told me that they dont have time and go back to the place that messes them up in the first place.... I want to give you business and you refuse to even give me an appointmebt.... Im new in town and desperately need a good nail tech...if they did a good job fixing my nails I would certainly be a returning customer.... no need to be rude and turn away paying customers

Awesome. Love this salon. I went to a place by me instead of coming back here and I so regret going elsewhere. My nails and toe nails are jacked. I will make sure once my nails heal to come back and no where else.

They do a really great job here. They are just a tad bit rude. I was late for my appointment and they made sure they expressed how they felt even after me apologizing and saying I can reschedule. Everyone was offered drinks and were being treated very differently than me.

They always do a beautiful job. The ladies and gentlemen are very friendly. They do their best to accommodate walk ins but they are usually busy. Best to make an appointment.

Although I love Chang I’m NEVER coming back here because they keep turning me around stating that they’re too busy for the last 3 times I’ve come. When I was inquiring about appointments they said no we accept walk ins it’s fine but all of sudden I have to call I’m super over this and will not be returning due to the inconvenience this place has caused me the past few weeks.

Updated 6/19/21 : so Ive been back here 3 times in the past week and 1 day to fix my manicure. I wear gloves all day, so theres no reason the shellac should have come off of my nails so quickly. I came here on Thursday to fix the nails that were done on the 10th. So I come back on the 17th because 4 nails were messed up. On the 18th, 4 of those nails plus 2 more, the shellac came off.They had the nerve to say since Im coming from Belleville, they suggest I find somewhere closer to me to get my nails done. Wow. Okay. I mean, I was, but to tell a customer that instead of owning up to your performance is kind of messed up. They fixed it quickly with an attitude, but bet this comes off in 2 days. I will not be back! Sad too, because they actually did great work!They were in such a damn rush that they cured nail polish onto my skin, the damn palm at that. I try to come in there to get two nails fixed and they let me sit there for 20 minutes knowing what I wanted and then telling me I need an appointment and telling me that they didn’t have any time today.

Walk in’s are not welcomed. I walked in at 6:15 on Thursday (online hrs says open till 8) and the women in charge called me rude in front of everyone because I didn’t have an appointment. I was very polite when I came in and asked for a mani and pedi. I’m new to the area and never been there before. I believe they advertise walk-ins are welcome which is not the case. VERY RUDE

I have had a hard time looking for a great, reliable salon and after my first visit, I think have finally found it. My first visit was excellent. Even though two other women were waiting she took her time and showed me all the different colors and styles they offered, I honestly was amazed. I am seriously in love.

I was a customer for a long time and I recommended a lot of my friends and family to get there nails done here. I had an appointment on Friday at 6 pm, I was 5 minutes late because of an accident on the freeway and they didn’t see me and I wait for them all time. Also, I noticed they treat there white customers nicer than the clients of color. I’m taking my friends and family somewhere else.

I do not recommend this place. 2 of the workers were not wearing masks. Their service is terrible. Today when I was getting my nails done the guy filed my nails too short, he rushed through my nails and when I was trying to explain what I wanted he told me I was picky. On another occasion I was told I was a difficult client. The last 2 times I went I made an appt and one time I waited almost 2 hours until somebody started on my nails. Do not go here.

The techs are amazing and very talented and friendly but the owner MiMi? Has a real problem with black women. I have sent others in to the shop because they loved my nails, and her treatment towards them was very rude and cold as compared to her Caucasian clients. I was so upset at her treatment towards me recently I was shaking when I left because I truly wanted to curse her out and cause a scene. I hate I have referred so many to this salon knowing I helped line her pockets, but I will not be going back. I would drive 30 min to this salon twice a month, not again.

This is a great place to go if youd like to be disrespected!! My mother and I were walk ins this past Saturday. I called ahead to see if we could be accommodated last minute. The young lady fit me in since someone was late for their appointment. I had no idea she didnt take my name and number.I ended up getting a full set even though I was only there for a fill and my mom got shellac. Thr older gentleman did my nails and feet.Fast forward to today, Thursday, three of my nails are lifting after no major activity. They didnt even last a week!I went back to get a repair, wasnt even looking for a refund, even though I should have. Several of the techs took a look at my nails and asked me who did them. Each time I pointed him out. The older lady just put glue on my nails and Im sitting there like, I could have done that.Then they were going through their book trying to find my name and number. I tried to explain I was a walk in. The the older lady had the nerve to tell me I didnt get my nails done there. Shocked 😲 🙀, I started getting defensive, like why would I go to a random shop and accuse them of doing a shabby job!!!I stormed out and will never return, they dont deserve my money!

I had no idea making an appointment would still require me to wait then I noticed after three visits I was conversing with a Caucasian young lady who mentioned she doesn’t make appointments but she tips well and that’s why she doesn’t have to wait. I got up and walked out I will never visit this place again it’s not an African American Friendly business.

They took my walk in appointment and the laddies where super nice! And they did a amazing job and were very helpful and I only paid 35$ for long acrylics coffin shaped and 3 different designs along with rhinestones.

MiMi polished my toes and I had bubbles in paint. Got an attitude when told. She repolished and still had bubbles in paint. I know she saw the bubbles. Clearly you can see them here! Bad service trying to rush!

Went to come in for a simple repair on a nail got basically told to get out of the store and come later due to not making an appointment for a SIMPLE REPAIR BECAUSE THEY MADE ONE NAIL TOO THIN. Even though there was three people and one was helping another customer. Attitude is off the hook at the place with Kevin. Just snappy and rude to his customers. Sure they do great work but expect to get an attitude from this nail place.

Love this place. They are busy a lot so sometimes they have asked me to come back later when I don’t have an appointment. They give me a time to come back. That way I’m not sitting and wasting time. Even if there are people who “don’t seem busy”, they are not going to start doing your nails when they have an appointment coming soon. They are actually as accommodating as they can be. That being said, Mimi (who is hilarious and a lot of fun), Kevin & Jasmine are the top talents there. I don’t let ANYBODY but Mimi touch my eyebrows. All give good mani/pedis. The most talented are always in demand and you might have to wait for them. This is how much I like them: I moved to Ohio but it seems like every time I come to visit I come to the shop. Going to try to squeeze in time today to get my eyebrows done. 🤨

I have been searching for a nail shop..to do my nails how i like them done..and i was beyond pleased. So with that being said this is my new nail place. UPDATE the lady in charge has a very bad attitude...they are very rude..I stop going after the first couple of times because although they do a great job with the nails they are just freaking rude as ever. So I wont be going back here.

This use to be one of my favorite nail salons. It appears that they pick and choose which customers they do and dont like. Ive never made a fuss or had a issue while being serviced there. Just all of a sudden it seems like there was an issue. My money spends wherever i go.

I can always count on a perfect job done here. I recommend making an appointment, word is out on the great quality they give and wait times can be long if you dont.

I dodged a bullet here. I googled the Top Rated salons in the area I was in, with a 4 star rating I ended up at Family Nails. When I walked in, the lady, who all the reviews says was a nice and caring mom type, snapped what do you need. I told her a soak off and manicure. Nobody even responded, nobody told me to go pick out a polish. Nobody said how long the wait could be, nothing. After 45 min of sitting on their disgusting furniture I started to actually read the reviews. One customer stated that they pick and choose who to be nice to, it makes sense to me, because about 3 people walked in after me and the older lady stopped what she was doing to get a good understanding of what the customer wanted, then told them to go pick out a color and someone will be available soon. Then I started reading about how everyones nails were chipping or lifting or whatever from cheap products, which is why I left my last salon. So after about an hour of waiting and not even being spoken to I left. No thank you.

Went in for pink and white acrylic full set. They are really thick and the corners werent filed so they are sharp. I feel Mimi rushed through. She had her headphones in the entire time, kept answering the phone on speaker and asked me what the customer was asking and was eating from her drawer in between steps. I dont think Ill go back to this place, I think I can find better.

I came here after a recommendation after i had a not so good job at another place. I had a great experience. Kevin did my nails & he made me feel sp pampered & made sure i had a great experience. He paid so much attention to the little detaials which mean alot. He also kept good decent conversation. I would recommend this place!

I wont be going back. The people for the most part are friendly but I waited for over an hour before I even got put into a chair and after paying over 40 bucks for a full set they started popping up a week after I got them done and one of the nails fell off completely.
