The house itself is excellent. Clean, large, open. Right on the beach with a hot tub. Bathrooms were a little small and all the balcony furniture with cushions never dry- it looks dry so you sit down then the water absorbs into your clothes and all wet! But we were mostly on the downstairs patio so no biggie. While the house is superb, I wasnt impressed with the Galveston/G-island beaches. They dont clean them and people drive right on them. Also have to be careful when swimming of fisher people and the crabs!

We LOVED our week at this beautiful home. The house had everything we needed to make great family memories with our children & grandchildren. It is well appointed, beautifully and thoughtfully furnished and decorated. The ground level was great for grilling, we built a fire in the fire pit to make s’mores. They have lots of beach toys, an umbrella, chairs etc for the beach. Our grandchildren loved the bunk room. Our daughter really enjoyed the “nursing room”with a mini fridge to store bottles overnight. It was perfect for a new baby. The views are fantastic. Lots of windows. Great balconies. And Mai is terrific! They brought us propane to grill snd a shovel to help make sandcastles when they heard our grandson wanted to build castles. Great stay. Thanks for sharing your lovely home!

This is my familys fourth year to stay at the beautiful Call of the Sea beach home.. Each year gets better and better. The views are extraordinary, and the beach front house is very accommodating for large families. It is fully furnished with many luxurious extras. Call of the Sea is an awesome place to make family memories.

We absolutely enjoyed our long weekend at this lovely home on the beach. There was easy arrival using the lock box. The house had abundant beach toys for the children as well as a darling bunk room. The kitchen/dining and family room, were so comfortable.The views are magnificent!

Great place great people . Cant wait to go back

Its alright. Luxury is a misnomer. Its clean and adequate. There is also a 30+ min drive from the place to get the keys and house. This is 2020. There are no less than a dozen solutions to security the house remotely. Or just use the key box that is already installed on one of the pillars.

Call of the Sea Rental HouseGreat views and amazing service. The owner was very nice and helpful. Decor is amazing and helps the overall look of the house. Sound of the ocean was breath taking. So happy we chose this place. Will be going back.

We had a wonderful time at the Call of the Sea property! The amenities are high end and you are just steps from the beach! A canopy, beach toys, chairs and a wagon are provided to help set up in style on the beach!

Great day out on the west side

The house my friend rented was so darn relaxing. Watching the waves roll in from the third floor was so relaxing.

Busy streets. Went way down to free beach and parking.

Had the perfect Family Thanksgiving. Very comfortable!

Super remote, perfect for large group vacations!

Just past this place where the highway goes into 2 lanes..there is a mile of free beach parking.Just turn left at the cutout.everyone of the beaches were so packed on Memorial day this was the only open beach with parking.hope this helps its a little drive but well worth it.
