Great Family owned company. Extremely friendly/courteous Staff. With Our last week of Extreme Winter Conditions, they were there to distribute propane to the best of their ability, as it came in of delivery to them. Once propane was obtained Galveston Rentals put notice out to the public. No complaints of the employees being there to assist the public in such harsh conditions. This Family Company most definitely looks out for its community . Most Definitely recommend Galveston Rentals, Inc for your rental needs. Amazing Staff!!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Very unprofessional! They try to say that warning labels are listed, yet they are not. They do not know how to professionally speak with people when it comes to an issue on THEIR end.

I love this place the employees there are very helpful specially during the winter storm that hit. All the prices are fair. I will recommend this place for all your needs.

I feel like I was price gouged when I had a 30# bottle charged at a flat rate of $28.50 after waiting for 1.5 hours in line. At least I got some heat for my RV!

Renting has never been so easy and fun. Julianne was a delight to work with on my party plans. I told her what I was planning and she made the perfect recommendations. They delivered and setup the tables & chairs exactly when and where I requested. The event went off perfectly with enough pool side tables and chairs. Many thanks to the gang in the back also, they helped a lot.

Galveston Rentals way over charges for propane in my opinion. I will not do business with them again.

Needed a jackhammer for an hour or two. Julie Ann did a great job of asking questions to evaluate my need. Suggested I get the heavier model for minimal increase in cost.Place is clean, equipment worked great wish I could say the same for my body. UGH!Only charged for the bit I used. I had traded with these guys for over 15 years....with few issues. Yesterday I brought an original part in from my chain saw and asked for a replacement part to match. It was about an hour before they were to close. They sold me the part and I went home to install it...but when I held it up to the original part ....it did not match. I guess I assumed they got it correct at the store. So, today at 8am I took the part back to exchange it for the correct one...and the manager told me they have a no return or exchange policy. I asked for an exception...since I had brought them the correct (original ) part to start with and they handed me the wrong one. The manager was unmoved and she was not sympathetic at all. I will no longer trade with this company....EVER. They stole my $50 as far as Im concerned. Mainland tool is a much more honest company as are most.

The guys at Galveston rentals are phenomenal for many different reasons, but in particular their service skills. Their equipment is clean and properly maintained. I have used them for over 6 years now and would recommend them to anyone. Recently they aided me and some others in the recovery of a stolen golf cart that was dumped in channel just outside Havre Lafitte. They didn’t want any money, they just wanted to help. Good people......

Im with another reviewer on this. We are full-time RVers and will often top off our propane before it is empty. Most propane dealers we have dealt with charge for what they put in, not for propane still in the bottle. GR has a scale and so no reason to gouge the customer. The staff were friendly and helpful, but we will not be buying more propane from them. In my opinion its a dishonest practice. RVers be warned.
