Contrary to the old reviews below West End Washateria does a great job. Theyve been doing our laundry for the past 5 years. This husband and wife team work hard long hours and are busy but always pleasant and friendly.

As a business owner that uses 5-15 sets of sheets a day there is no way I would ever consider doing business without the services that I get from West End Washateria. I drop my laundry off every day to every other day and it is clean, fresh, and very neatly folded usually by the next business day. The owners are always polite and friendly and although they are extremely busy, they take the time to talk to you and are genuine and kind-hearted people. Their place is always clean and in good working order. Thank You Both so so so very much, we couldnt do what we do with out you!!!

The lady who runs this place is so sweet and helpful! The laundry is clean and my clothes are folded better than I ever did for myself! Highly recommend this place. All the staff is friendly, too.

When I moved back to Galveston (Post-Ike), I rented a small private apartment on the East End, without laundry hook up and needed to find a laundromat. I drove around to several places, some places, I didn’t even get out of my vehicle…it was a hell no moment… I decided to drive to the West End and check out this laundromat. It’s a small facility and the owners are always on the premises from open to close.I used this laundromat without incidence for three years and then moved off the island. The owners were very friendly and the laundromat is always very clean.Fast forward, four years later and I am back at the laundromat. Got flooded out on the mainland from Hurricane Harvey and currently repairs to home are being made. I have my choice of laundromats to go to, but I do go out of my way to do my laundry at the West End Laundromat because I know what to expect. Friendly owners, reasonable prices, a clean facility and dryers that dry your clothes on the first go round.I am surprised by the few negative comments here. But I can tell you, these folks take care of their business and their machines. They don’t want you to put 50lbs of clothes into a 35lb washing machine. That’s not rude, that is just common sense. This is not a giant laundromat, but there are plenty of washers and dryers to do your clothes. They do offer laundry drop off & folding service. Don’t expect to come and clown around or trash this facility, like most laundromats, these people take pride in what they do.Our home is almost repaired and I will miss going to the laundromat, its nice to finish all your laundry in under 2 hours. But the owners are very delightful, why else would I come back four years later and drive completely out of my way to do laundry.

Very small place. The owner was very friendly as well as other customers. Dryers work great as well as washers. I wouldnt recommend this facility if you have more than 3 loads due to space and other laundry services offered by this location which occupies the machines.

Dont waste your time or money going to this hole in the wall laundramat! They have only one extra large front load washer. After I had my clothes half loaded into the machine the owners got very rude and snobbish with me...telling me that I couldnt wash my 4 loads in that machine...and that it would break their machine! I asked if they treated all their customers like crap because Ive been washing clothes for 30 years and have never had a machine break down! I packed my clothes back up and told them that they have the same machines all over town and that Ill take my business back to the ones who appreciates their customers.

It was Tues around 1pm. Web and building say open 8-5. Opened the door to walk in and do one load of laundry. Older, rude Asian lady was abruptly in my face saying we closed, we closed as she pulled the door shut and locked it. Really? Great business practices, hospitality, communication and posting of hours (basic business ownership skills). Are you reading this maam? You will never get a penny of my money and hopefully none from those who read and trust my honest reviews.

We came around closing time..(we had only 1 load to do)..Pat..was very sweet...we enjoyed talking to him while the clothes where washing...we will definitely be back..thank you so much..😁😁😄😄
