We stayed at unit 8102 in the Victorian and the experience was terrific. The unit was clean and had awesome views of the beach. Restaurants, shopping, and entertainment were within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again!

Charged us for a broken door that was broken when we moved in. Charged us for a smoke detector that wasnt there when we moved in. Charged us for another smoke detector that was broken when we moved in. Charged us to replace the curtains that were there when we moved in. Charged us for updates to the house. Charged us for a cleaning service after we had already spent 300 dollars on one. Charged us for blinds that were broken when we moved in. Charged us for a ceiling fan that was broken when we moved in. Charged us for toilet seats that were damaged when we moved in.This is hilarious and honestly and kind of surprising. After reading other reviews, Im sure they will respond to this, but tread lightly. The property was awesome and I had so much fun living here, its a shame that My Galveston Getaway had to abuse us on the security deposit. I believe that we were good tenants, the whole renting process was smooth until the very end. Beautiful neighborhood, great neighbors, awesome property. Kind of a sad way to end it. Maybe its our fault for being naive, but it is still unfortunate none the less.

If youre looking for 5 star service and personal attention to your vacation needs, this is the place to get your vacation rental! We stayed at Skyview Paradise at Miravilla in Galveston and it was clean, updated, and comfortably accommodated 4 adults and 3 children. There were a couple of things missing that I thought would help future guests. I dropped a courtesy E-mail, not really wanting anything for ourselves and within 1 hour, our door was knocked on with all the things I mentioned + more! I will definitely make this my site for all Galveston vacation stays in the future! The best of the best! My only complaint is the seven days spent at Skyview Paradise at Miravilla passed by way too fast!! Thank you, Cathie for being such a great host!!

I would go into detail about our stay, however i will keep this short and simply say this COMPANY lacks integrity. On every negative review they receive, they respond with a negative review about the renter. It would be nice to see a company simply acknowledge that perhaps they dont have the best cleaning crew or maybe even apologize for a bad experience, but you wont get that from this company. Instead, they will try to discredit you and your review. They left a false review on Airbnb. stating that things were destroyed and stolen, yet those things did not exist in the rental i utilized and even referred to a different name other than the one than the one i rented. I wont go into detail on here because I have seen how they respond to honesty. Before renting from them, I would recommend reading everything people are saying, including on Airbnb.

MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVERThere were nails sticking up from the patio balcony and my cousin cut his foot badly,the host made us pay outside of the airbnb platform.Through paypal so they didnt have to pay airbnb fees.After all fees were paid through paypal they called the cops on us and had us removed through the property on Easter Sunday for having more than 2 people which they never told us we could not have visitors on Easter SundayWORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

We originally booked an Airbnb at the same Maravilla complex but due to construction the owner passed our reservation over to Cathie with My Galveston Getaway. From the beginning, I voiced my concern over the difference in appearance between the two condos but Cathie assured me we were actually getting a good deal as they lowered their price just for us. The condo was absolutely filthy- dead roaches, old splattered food and mold on the microwave, and mold throughout the condo. The entire first night was spent listening to construction or someone moving furniture directly above us. We couldn’t step on to the balcony (the condo offered gulf views) due to structural issues- I even had to sign a waiver. I have sent messages to both the original Airbnb host and Cathie but have only heard back from the Airbnb host. I would not recommend doing business with Cathie or mygalvestongetaway. If I could find a way to post pictures I would do so.

Great couple of ladies! They were able to quickly move me in to a beautiful fully furnished apartment I had seen online, and it looked just like it did on the website.

Keypad didnt work for rental and unable to get ahold of owners to resolve. Called number and no one answered. Called alternative number and went straight to voicemail. Stopped by office and its a UPS store.We have been calling the number on the website since 7 am and no one has answered . We have left voicemails and no one has called back. Still not resolvedEdit: 6.10.18 - After the hiccups mentioned above, Galvenston Getaway went above and beyond to remedy the issues and make our stay as pleasant as possible. 4 stars as our trip didnt start out as planned but ended on a much better note.
