First time staying in the complex and it was lovely. The parking is around $40 but I believe it covers the length of your stay (we stayed 3 nights and it was a flat rate). Rooms are easily accessed from the parking spots and we had no issues finding a spot on the weekend. The pool is beautifully maintained and has a nice size hot tub. The beach is in walking distance (across the street) and a convenient store is right next door. Would definitely recommend!

All the amenities of home! I worked from the Master bedroom and balcony with a view of the gulf all day! Makes me want to think of buying a condo there. 10 minutes from everything. Heads up though, if you are street/gulf view, you will have to put up with street noise. On weekends, the Harleys and hotrods like to be seen and heard until the wee hours.

These are very nice condos. Theyre older but kept in good shape. We rented a condo on Airbnb and it is just delightful. Very clean and very well appointed. Its a one bedroom and just right for my husband and I. The one downside for us is that it faces the main road so you get some traffic noise. But, you do get to see the ocean! So it is a fair trade-off I think. And you can cross the road right to the beach.The condos have an absolutely lovely pool and a nice sitting area. We would stay here again.

The unit was perfect for our family and the pool was just outside the balcony. And the location was near to attractions and the beach across the street

My family stayed here through Airbnb and had a great time. Its right across the street from the beach and Walmart is right next door to get groceries. We had a lot of fun at the two pools too.

Great location and it was very nice except for the loud people in the hot tub at 1am Saturday night!Parking is an extra $35. We were told it was $20 so just be aware of that. We would stay again if we could be certain the pool and hot tub would be closed at 10pm like the rules state.

The owners are awesome met and exceeded all of our needs. The condo is beautifully decorated with the kitchen full stocked with everything you may need. Only giving them a 4 instead of a five because their maid did not full check and clean condo.

Parking fee is $40 after tax. Other than that the condos are great!

Got a rental here for a few days. It was quite clean and it was close to everything! The pool was not sandy, and it was gated for security.

Loved the condo we leased through AirBnB, it was great, and the two swimming pools were awesome!

I love the condominium complex. The staff at main office are very helpful. The complex is well maintained and it is appealing for vacationers. Beach is across the street and many near by attractions. Location is excellent. I love it.

This place was great fully furnished everything you needed in the kitchen awesome beach view was a little too cold to swim in the unheated pool but the heated pool was okay we had such an awesome time drinking our coffee on the balcony and watching the sun come up well definitely be staying here again when it gets a little warmer

With easy access to the Seawall and all the amenities there in Dawn Beach location alone makes it worth it. However the gated parking and small spaces does make it difficult.

Very cute beach themed condo with everything you need to make you feel at home. It is in a private gated community and is very quiet. The balcony has a wonderful view of the gulf. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Love this place! Only been in one unit but it was really nice, clean and didnt smell of mold or mildew like others we have looked at, will be our home for the next 8 months

Some of the best italian food Ive ever eaten. I had the Stromboli (highly recommend it). Portions were huge even the kid chicken strip plate. Jose was our waiter and he was great and very attentive to our needs. It is 2020 year of COVID so social distancing and mask wearing was in full affect. Restaurant was very clean. I cant say enough good things about this place. Make sure you treat yourself with a visit.

The pool was nice and clean. It was nice having the beach access right across the road. It is walking distance from restaurants, shopping etc...The interior to our unit was roomy and well maintained.

Great property! Stayed at property over the weekend thru Air-bnb and Ryan. Pool was wonderful. Very well lit at night and lots of sitting areas. Umbrella and cabana seating. The condo we stayed in was spacious and property is across from the beach.

We are here for an extended stay. We forwarded our mail to this address. Came to find out that we cant get a key for the mail box. so now our mail is forwarded twice to the rental company. Who knows when we will get it

Great little Condo..air not working properly but peaceful

This was our 2019 family vacation and it surpassed our expectation. The Dawn Beach Condos had easy access to a nearby Walmart for anything we forgot to bring along and many local restaurants and beach location in walkable to just a few minutes drive. Highly recommend!

What more could you want! Cross the street (Seawall Dr) and you are on the beach. Beautiful, clean beach, nice pier nearby for fishing. The condo was in a gated community, it felt very secure and the grounds had beautiful landscaping, and very clean, I loved the bright colors! The space was roomy and modern along with laid back beach vibe and modern kitchen.

I went to visit a friend who is staying here for a week of R&R. This was my first visit. This property is extremely well maintained. The unit was very clean with excellent maintenance. My friend said it was cheaper than other properties. Not everyone can afford $200+ a day, though I do believe we all deserve well earned time off without worrying about every dollar spent.

We had a great time here. Good location and the trolley is right out front. The grounds are very clean and pools are nice.

Stayed here with family on a Covid Vacay and they had everything we needed for a safe and distant vacation. Floor ground condo right next to the pool, full kitchen, balcony, beach views, two large pools, paid parking behind a gate for safety, wrist bands for pool just for visitors. We used Air Bnb for our stay and it was perfect. Will be back!

Stayed here twice and each time was an absolute pleasure. Peaceful, tranquil environment and beach views to die for. Always well manicured and maintained. A rock throw away from the beach, amenities galore and close to stores and top restaurants. Would stay again and definitely recommend to others. Absolute Paradise at the Dawn gets two thumbs way up.

It was very clean, spacious and had a lot of things for the beach for the kids

The Dawn is a super place to vacation or live. All the floor plans are spacious and the finishes in the kitchen and bathrooms are nicely updated granites, real wood and stainless. All the units also have large windows, private outdoor patios or decks and lots of storage space. The community is completely gated and has a very private resort feel, especially when hanging out at either of the resort pools!

Clean and accommodating! My husband and I stayed at The Dawn during our honeymoon! Using Airbnb, we found a listing for a condo right by the beach. Elliot was a wonderful host and our stay in Galveston was just that much better because of having the comforts of home while on vacation!

The grounds and pool were clean. There are stairs to reach even the condos on the ground floor. There is no ramp. There are 3 separate buildings but only 2 pools. It was quite crowded on our first day. The walk through gate lock was broken and people couldnt get in. We got locked out of our condo on the first day. No one informed us that the bottom lock was broken. Our condo was nicely decorated and spacious but could definitely use darkening curtains...in the living room but especially in the bedroom.

We stayed here for a long weekend. Our apartment was very nice, very clean, beds were surprisingly comfortable. Pool area was nice and kids friendly and the best part we were just across from the beach. We will be coming back for sure.

The condo was very cute and well appointed. The view was amazing and so relaxing! Although, it was too cold to swim, the two pools were beautiful. There was plenty of room for our party of seven and everything we needed in the kitchen to cook basic meals. Our only complaints were the hot water didnt last for more than one shower and the master bed was uncomfortable for us.

This place is awesome! It was like being home, they have everything you could need. Definitely will be planning another stay.

A hidden gem in a sea of average. Grounds are very well kept. Rules are enforced. Gates work. Parking is regulated and I would just about guarantee your car will get towed if you dont stop at the front office and get your parking pass. Dont forget this as its quite easy to ignore. NOT ADVISABLEMy condo was immaculate (this may vary since most seem to be individually owned and maintained.)Walking distance to a convenience store and the beach. Perfect for a quick weekend get-away.

We rented an Airbnb here. The property is amazing. It faces the gulf. The beach is literally on the other side of the road. The staff is friendly and the property is well kept.

We enjoyed a few days here. Great location to everything. Private access, pools and strict rules on parties made for a great stay. Highly recommend for a family stay or quiet getaway.

I went for a girls weekend at the beach and couldnt have asked for a better location! Literally across the street to the ocean!!! The pool is clean and the grounds are beautiful. Marcos is a great employee and helped us find what we were looking for while in town! Thanks Marcos!

Room 626 was very nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. It faced the beach, which was a big plus. The complex is gated, so our vehicles were not easily accessible by non-paying guest. Would stay again.

Well the people that brought me into the condo were very nice very helpful but by the time I got to the condo we could enjoy the patio because it was a bird there and I wasnt touching it it looks like it was a trying to die besides that when we try to watch the DVD player couldnt get it to work in the TV system and besides who dont have cable when you rent any hotel room and they have a basic cable channels that was pretty bad for the amount of money you spent to rent that condo for 2 days all in all like I said the people over there that are in charge of the resort they did an awesome job but you know

My family and I came for a long weekend and LOVED IT, the owner we rented from takes alot of pride in her condo, as she should it was great. Very close to everything and fun. I only have 2 complaints but they are small, we love the pool and spent most time there, there has been a super high pitch noise the whole time and it drove my family crazy but not a horrible issue. Then we had zero clue we had to pay $20 parking fee... that really is all though. It was fun and relaxing!

This complex is very conveniently located near the beach, Walmart, a fun pier and other attractions. The condo s clean, welcoming and matched the pictures and description on the website. I didnt make the reservation but thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Great for families with a fully stocked kitchen, multiple sleeping areas and very close to the beach.

Tha accommodations were great and the beach was just across the street. My wife and I had an AWESOME time! Looking forward to next year already!

Had a great stay in an air b’n’b here. Close to the beach (literally across from it!) and the amenities are exceptional. Only downfall is that the hot tub was frigidly cold for three days in a row and the pool did not seem to be cleaned often. Regardless, good choice to stay here in Galveston.

Great views nice a cozy little condos!

We really enjoy such a beautiful clean swimming! We hung out and swam for quite a long time. People were there with their familys. All the children played friendly and even shared pool toys! We will be returning!

Good location, right across from beach. Distance was not an issue, but crossing the busy road with two kids was. Good thing there were two pools because the one closest to our rental was not properly maintained and needed to be closed two + days while we were there. The other pool was borderline...needed to be vacuumed. We count on a pool when we rent because there is no peace of mind at the beach with kids, so we beach early and pool after lunch. The Dawn fit the bill in that regard, but I wouldnt count on a resort-type experience at the pool.

Nice place though, the units are individually owned, the complex is clean and well-maintained. The only downside is that the condo management expects a $25 parking tag per vehicle, which is a bit ridiculous for motorcycles during the rally.

The Dawn is a lovely condominium property resembling those in Destin, Florida. The grounds are nicely kept, the pools are clean and attractive, and the units are spacious. This is a great place to live full-time or have as a vacation rental.

I love living by the seawall. The Dawn has a great safe family atmosphere.
