I went to this location because my tire was going flat overnight, 2 nights in a row. They had my car for 6 hours, and told me that nothing was wrong and that they tightened the valve stem. It still kept going flat after I left. Took it to a different shop, and they immediately found a nail in the tire. The staff is friendly, and I believe they are short handed, but to have my car there for 6 hours and say nothing is wrong, after explaining to them that something was definitely wrong, is more than frustrating.
I visited this location on a cold and dreary day and was greeted by a polite and friendly face! A guy by the name Marco was extremely helpful and explained everything that was going on with my vehicle, and he made sure I understand what work was going to happen to my car. I recommend this store and his services to any one needing assistance in this area! A caring and friendly face can go a long way when you are overwhelmed with car issues!!
Antoine is the best service advisor Ive seen. He helped me get my tires picked out on 2 of my cars and got them installed for me an oil change and alignment done. He is very upfront and honest about the work needed done to my cars

Got a price of $109 when booking on the website, tried to charge me $172.Had an appointment at 8:30 to change one tire, 9:50, the tire was not even off the rim to be repleca.Just been told, 9:55, they dont have my tire. I scheduled my appointment 8 DAYS AGO.. IT TOOK THEM 80 MINUTES TO TELL ME THAT.The ENTIRE STAFF (Manager, admin, technician) dont CARE....AVOID AT ALL COST

Made an appointment for an oil change. Appointment indicted it would take an hour. One hour later my vehicle was still parked where I left it. I asked the attendant for an estimated time my vehicle would be put into a stall and was told maybe another hour. Needless to say I left and got service somewhere else.
Nice staff. Kind of slow, but good work which I would rather have. But of course, expensive. I didnt. Know what labor charges were now. They did give me a substantial discount after l got up at off the floor!

Needed two REAR tires replaced, was told to it would take 20 minutes total. 2.5 hours later, they told me that they could only put on 1 tire because they didnt have the 2nd one in stock and would need to order it. I went out to pick up my car and for some reason my FRONT tire was off so I asked and they said they got confused about which ones they were working on. Once they put the tire back on, they chipped the rim badly . When I brought it up, they offered to repair it within 2 days so I accepted. I gave them the wheel and put on my own spare tire and called them after 2 days and every day after that until more than a week later when the wheel finally was ready. When I went to get my wheel back, I waited 2 hours for them to put one wheel back on. I was headed home and noticed my tire pressure dropped from 38 PSI to 23 PSI within 5 minutes of driving. Had to drive back and wait another 40 minutes for them to put the tire back on properly. They also lost my tire caps. Also left a bunch of black grease stains throughout the fabric lining of the interior.Staff acted friendly but often need prompting to actually get things moving. Already contacted customer service with no resolution.
A young lady by the name of Jennifer was so very helpful! My girlfriend went in to get some tires and she helped us. The place was super busy an she was working the counter all alone.
These guys fixed my girlfriend flat tire when another store here in Galveston said they couldnt take care of it. What a inconvenience they were but thanks to this Store NTB for getting it resolved and fixed for us.
The Technician who worked on my car explained everything in detail to my boyfriend on why certain parts needed to be replaced also gave us a print out of our alignment. You guys are much better than the Firestone down the road.
Bad welcome service, lied to customer and broken/did something wrong with my TPMS sensors, sterling wheel shaking. That was a crazy time and my dangerous fault to have service over here. Never recommend and never come back until die. Taking my car back to the original dealership Galveston Classic Group to fix everything.
Come in today for the routine maintenance of oil change & tire rotation because I put effort into making our vehicles last. I received top tier customer service from Luron, a 21 point car inspection, and speedy response time that allowed me to continue with my day. Thanks to the team here for their hard work.

Went to get my tire fixed. They said they couldnt patch it up based on where the nail was and told me how much itd cost to get a new tire. I went somewhere else and they were able to patch up the tire. I will not be coming back to this place
I am here right now. Just need to have one tire looked at because it is low. It feels like noone is here but yet I am sitting here such a long time! Terrible customer service. I wish Discount Tire was on the island. Edit: Decided to just leave. If only they had told me hey its gonna take over an hour to see you, but no communication.
I just spent almost $900 on new tires for my truck and after I got them my low tire pressure warning comes on and beeps/flashes at me every 5 minutes. A tire pressure sensor fault was already there, but this does not beep/flash at you and it is not a safety issue, nor did it affect state inspection, so it was completely manageable. I set up an appointment, told them the situation and let them know I could pay for a new sensor if needed. The appointment was at 1130. At 240 pm I got a call asking for permission to change the sensor, that it would cost $140, and take an additional 45 minutes to fix. I called Discount Tires and they only wanted $60 to change the sensor. NTB price matched only after I furiously complained and threatened to do just this to the manager. However, they could not fix the issue after changing the sensor. Now my truck beeps at me every 5 minutes w a low tire pressure warning. Nothing I read online worked either. Worst service experience of my life, and they messed up my truck.
I wish I could leave no stars I left my 1230 after making a appointment and call to see how far along it is and I got nothing but rude .but dang over 2 hours to put 2 two new tires on wow ...good going guys
They installed wrong size tires (too large, won’t turn) then finally replaced with correct size. Warning sensor reads no pressure in one tire. Tech said nothing he can do about that. Manager says he will make it right.Pressure is now reading correctly, but 2 tires designed to have 32 lbs of pressure now have 38 & 41. These guys are just completely sloppy with everything they do.With long lines, employees loudly joking about weekend escapades speaking like dirty gutter trash. Not enough wits or concern around this place to effectively run a decent operation.This place literally make the Mueller Investigation appear legitimate. SAD!NO TRUST! Not GOOD for BUSINESS
Went to their website and they were the only ones who had my tire for my truck. On a Sunday they got me out of there in less than 30 minutes. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone. Customer service was quick and easy. They get five stars for sure. They also all had their masks on and their waiting area was socially distance ready. Seating was spread out accordingly. 👍🏼👍🏼
They like to damage peoples vehicles, and then deny that they damage the vehicle. They are also not honest people. Try to scam women into buying things they dont need. Dont go there!

I have been using this NTB for several years now. They have always done the work as needed with no surprises. They discuss the price with me up front and do the work within the time frame they have quoted. I have been happy with the service.
Went to Galveston for a weekend vacation and had a tire blowout called NTB very professional not sure of his name got to the store and put my spare on showed me options of tires to put on my car I decided to buy 4 new tires had me completed and gone within about 60 minutes I just want to thank all the guys for their professionalism and great customer service
If I could give a half a star I would. Terrible experience from first contact on the phone to picking up the vehicle. The salesman Ben was completely incompetent. He told my wife that we could drop off the car and pick it up the next day because they were close to closing time. They called us 45 minutes later saying that the car was ready, but it was not drive-able because some of the controls were off and that it would cost $1200 to fix. I quickly declined the offer for them to fix it and they said that we had to pick up the vehicle because there was no room for it to be stored at this facility. We had to leave in the middle of our gym session that we had planned because they said they could keep it overnight, got to the shop, paid for the alignment that they did. When we left my wife noticed that her wheel was not straight and that there was issues with the steering. We quickly turned around to ask why this had happened because the wheel was not like that before. They said that we need to fix the control issue first and then get it aligned again. I asked why they didnt run a diagnostic before doing the alignment and they said that they couldnt really see the issue before the alignment was done. We decided to go to Firestone to get a quote and they ran a diagnostic (hard to believe that was possible right?) and gave us a quote for $180 bucks that includes an alignment and fixing a small issue that will not require fixing the controls.DONT GO HERE.

I used to come here often, because my dealership was 40 minutes away but I stopped once I realized they were ripping me off. They changed my brakes and they were still squeaking and didn’t even clean my rotors & my car was fairly new. Also changed my oil several times, and broke my drain plug which no one told me until I went to the dealership for transmission fluid. I spoke with the manager he seemed to be concern with these issues and told me to come in but I never did because of the great bumper to bumper warranty I have. Wouldn’t even recommend this place to change my windshield wipers.
Took 2.5 hours to install 4 tires they had in stock. I walked by the shop multiple times to find nobody working on my truck. Nice customer service does not translate to good shop performance here.

They got us in quick and fast. Got us back on the beach. They took the screw out and plugged our tire for us. They were friendly, establishment was clean, they put plastic down in the car so they didn’t get it dirty. I’m very happy with the staff and this facility.
I called to see if there was a wait or needed an appointment for them to look at a tire I purchased two weeks before. No, come right up they said. I showed up and they said I would have to wait 2.5 hours! To be clear, they just needed to check the pressure in it--about a two minute job. That is terrible customer service.
These guys really Rock. Ive been coming here for along time and they take care of all of my vehicles. Sure sometimes the work required is expensive but at the end of the day these guys are the doctors and they will keep your engines heart going.
I came into NTB to have my tired checked out I didnt know if I was going to have to buy a whole new tire which I wouldnt have been able to afford so the manager richard came and assisted me and kept me informed of what was going on the whole time..he took my car immediately into the shop and told me I had nail in it and it would be a simple fix..I appreciate the kindness and care and not being taken for granted being a woman and not sure what was going on...I would definitely recommend them..
Like firestone and others they now by law force you strongly to do synthetic oil change when I never had to with this and other cars, sorry but this is straight greed. I am not spending over $80.00 on an oil change when it is not necessary.

I made an appointment online, it took them an hour past my appointment time to even start working on my car. They then came to me in the waiting room to explain that they misquoted me and that it was actually going to cost more than what they originally said. No one has a sense of urgency.. horrible customer service. Not to mention the guy behind the desk was walking around without his shoes on. The bad reviews are true! Don’t come to this location!

Made two appointments on separate days this week. First to have oil change/tire rotation/inspection. Dropped car off and went to pick it up and NTB didn’t do inspection. Had to take elsewhere.Second appointment, different car, to have oil change/tire rotation. Dropped off at appointment time (name appeared on TV showing appointments). Came back hour and a half later, car not been worked on. Another lady in lobby, who also had appointment, had also waited over hour and half past appointment time with no work done on her car.What’s point is making appointment? Doesn’t appear to be isolated incident.Nice guys and have used their services multiple times, but service seems to be slipping. Lots of frustration from customers in lobby (both days this week). Hope it gets resolved.
Set an appointment a day in advance .sent my employee Still ended up waiting 4 hrs to get new tires. Asked them to put the old tires in the back bed and they didn’t . Asked for a specific tire and received a cheaper model maybe they didn’t have it in stock. Asked for a bigger sized tire but they went with the original size instead. I really wish they would of considered my preferences instead of doing what ever they feel they need to do. On top of that they lied to my employee saying that the discounted price was because of a fleet discount and they were the brand we ordered. They took advantage of him because he was just sent there to get tires. Unacceptable expiereince, if your a tire guy put your link in the comments . I’ll bring my business to you next time.

Completely sucked, appointment was at 9:00 for oil change did not get done till 11:00, and made it a point to be there 45 minutes early, I think this is the problem when you pay people by the hour.
Visiting Galveston for the weekend and we needed to take care of some maintenance on the truck really quick. We saw NTB was pretty close to use and so glad we did! Jose greeted us when we pulled into the garage and took care of us right away. We spent much less time than we thought we were and he had us back to our fun weekend. Went here to get my front pads changed, and in less than a month had to take it back in to get new caliper and have brake line replaced. Told them about this and they refused to take responsibility. Will never go back to this location.
Picking up a vehicle to take to a dealership, had me in and out with very little wait.
Their doors say open at 9. Their is a line outside for an hour with ten people, some others are waiting in their cars. Place opens at 10. People waiting here for over an hour to be scheduled for another day. There is no sign on the door mentioning schedules.They are the only tire place open in Galveston on Sunday, so they are super busy. They are super busy, extremely understaffed, but professional considering how full their hands are.
I am very disappoint about customer service I checking at 342 pm and they finish my vehicle until 739 pm I buy a set of 4 tires close a 1000 dlls they not even replace the air valves not even put valve caps on my tires that worst part the manager not even tell me anything about the job was not complete I find out until next morning also I request to check my front alignment but I dont receive any information this is going to be my first and my last business with NTB

I hit a ditch and my car drive really bad to the right. Take it for an alignment, my car gets ready and I ask if there was anything damaged or bent they answer no because they didn’t even care to look and do their job for a place that specializes in suspension. I look at my tire and it is setting back Almost touching the rear bumper, and they couldn’t even see that.Waste of time And money. I take it to a mechanic that doesn’t even have a left and as soon as he look he showed me the part bent in the suspension. I’m just really disappointed for a place that has the best machines and technology but nobody smart enough to use them !
All the guys who helped me were incredibly polite and honest. They helped me to understand that the last company who changed my tires was not honest with me, and sold me a more expensive product that wasnt what I needed. The guys explained everything to me clearly, showed me several options, and never tried to force me to overspend or buy things I didnt need. I really appreciated their honesty, helpfulness, and patience with me as I tried to figure out what all I needed. Their great attitudes have definitely made me a permanent customer at this location!
Unfortunately they couldnt honor my appointment time, which is partially my fault. Thats the only reason I couldnt leave a 5 star. I scheduled an appointment online the same morning, but I had scheduled it next to 3 other walk in appointment times. Ben explained to me it is better to call and schedule, or walk in and schedule the appointment because this happens too often. At the least after you schedule an online appointment call to confirm the appointment, and if there are any discrepancies such as this it can be handled right away.
Watch out! Lol if they say you have something in the sidewall of your tire please don’t listen for your own sake. They might seem nice but I promise you this business is a scam. I don’t know where else you should go but don’t go here, you’ll be scammed out of 100s of dollars.
Came in to get my oil changed. The guys in the back did a great job of checking out my car. Showed me a printout with my tread depths air pressures and even checked my alignment fir free. My alignment was out and they saw i needed new wipers as well. The girl in the front brought me to the shop and even showed me my car and what needed done. I recommend everyone to use this place for your maintenance!
At other places tires take FOREVER to change but i went here and had this guy named Bruno? (pretty sure that was his name) helped me out. I had a nail in my tires and he recommended me to get a set of tires because i was pretty much due for all 4 to get changed (good timing). It took at least 45 mins! quickest tire change ever! def would tell everyone to come here!
I went in for an oil change. They told me it would be 30 minutes it ended up being an hour. I noticed that they had a display at the front desk mentioning how they check and replace air valves. Then the mechanic showed me somehow my air valve had snapped in half even though the metal was fine and not rusted. Lo and behold he tried to sell me an air valve.
We love going to NTB. Jose always helps us and has really gained our trust. Hes always honest and upfront about any issues weve had with our car and we really appreciate it. Its refreshing to know we can always count on him to get the job done. Thank you!!
Prices vary from advertised price once you make appointment and get vehicle in. Not very friendly. Almost make other questionable car places look awesome. Parts always need changing. Just not impressed with them at all. Commercials look great, reality doesn’t live up to hype.
First off I just want to say that my over all experience here was top notch. I came here to replace the bald tires on my kia and they had me in and out within 20 minutes. The front desk staff and technicians were friendly and very knowledgeable in assisting me with tire selection. Upon receiving my vehicle, Jose informed me about my brake pads needing to be replaced. Good thing he did because there was nothing left! Replaced them next day. Definitely will be returning for future business.

Stop by Saturday afternoon 06/13/2020 to get an oil change because the light was on cost me $89.33... Drove my car back home ( Houston) and the light came back on. If anything wrong with my engine Im suing the company!

Here for 3½ hours to watch majority of the employees stand around, watched the guy in slow motion do the tire patch. There isnt no guessing why NTB is going down hill when you have employees working like this with no management putting their foot down. Bruno is who worked on my truck.
Recently I experienced outstanding customer service at the NTB in Galveston, Texas. The Galveston team goes above and beyond to exceed expectations. We have been regular customers there for over ten years, and I highly recommend the Galveston location.When we used another store, my family had an unfortunate experience with a bad tire. After getting the car back to Galveston, the NTB manager did all he could to find our unique tire size. In summary, Justin Reid went to remarkable efforts to provide us with a new set of safe tires. Despite our circumstances, Justins level of care was highly considerate. We will continue to visit the NTB in Galveston, and we appreciate the management team!

Completely unprofessional and lacks knowledge in customer service. Had a 4:30 appointment but left at 6:30 because my vehicle hadn’t even been taken into the bay. Kid laughed when I asked what the purpose of having an appointment was. This location has always been hit or miss. Definitely won’t return to this location
Recently got 4 new tires. The manager, Billy, was awesome. So was the sales guy named Ben. Such good customer service. Quick and effiencent. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
Not the most fond experience I’ve ever had. I was told that repairs would take 1 hour, I ended up waiting hours 3 and then being told that I needed to come back 2 hours later for parts to be delivered. Was told they would call me when it delivered but I never got a call, so I called back. While customer service was polite, I was quite unhappy with the level of coordination and the lack of concern for their customer’s time. However, they did repair what I wanted fix.
Went to NTB for a tire change, The mechanic Albert was able to better educate me on the tires I was purchasing to find the right match for my daily life/driving needs. The swap out was fast and the crew there was friendly.

NTB. Usually my go to place. The last few times I have been disappointed. The staff is nice but the service is very slow. There were opportunities to sell me more but the worker didnt read the work order. The show room and waiting room are in need of painting and cleaning. I hope this downward trend can turn around
The manager, Abel Castillo, is one of the nicest and most competent managers that I have encountered. He listened to my problem, was courteous and friendly and he resolved the issue in a very short period of time. This is my second great experience at the Broadway St. location. I highly recommend this business to others.
Tried giving them another chance, that was a mistake. Incredibly slow, loosing lug nuts, had to go back to get my last tire( they didn’t have 4 in stock) at least I learned my lesson last time and didn’t buy the useless road hazard warranty.My appointment today was 10am..it’s 5:15 pm and I still don’t have all 4 tires ...
Went in this morning for oil change. They refused to do as check engine light was on.Would only do if I paid $119 for them to read the code. I was aware of the code and explained why the check engine light was on. It is nothing essential.I refuse to pay $119 for them to spend less than one minute to plug in a code reader to tell me what I already know.They lost out on a $100 oil change.
Their technician William did amazing on my brakes. Would recommend for any of my family members, Jose really turned this store around. I told myself I would never come back until Jose personally called me and assured me he would take care of his customers 1000%.
I have terminal cancer. I have trouble just doing trivial work. I made an appointment and showed up early. All I asked was rotate the tires. Its hard for me to do it in my condition. I was informed 20 after my appointment that they werent going to do as I asked . i had just gotten out of a radiation treatment. I was hurting pretty bad and you people took the human side out of the equation and wasted time I can ill afford to waste. Thanks for nothing

After my truck spent two days at the ford dealer waiting on a thermostat that still wasnt there, I picked it up and took it to NTB, at 5:45 on a Monday none the less.. Not only did they look at it right away, but they fixed it the same day and found a faulty belt that the dealer has not seen. Im completely happy with this location and will be doing all of my vehicle services here from now on.
Had an appointment for 2:00. Its 3:38/ now 4:07.and car still not pulled in. 4:12 and just pulled in the bay.Just getting 2 tires. Why have an appointment if not going to follow it. Now I have to reschedule my appointments. Guys where nice, but that really doesnt help the fact ive been here since 2 oclock.

I have been to this location several times and relieved nothing less than the worst possible service. The most recent time I came in for a state vehicle inspection and waited for an hour only to be told that my appointment time would not be honored. Please reconsider getting your car serviced here if you are on the island. There are much better options.
Little bit of a wait without an appointment, but still had a very good experience. The sales person explained to me without an appointment they have to stop on my vehicle to take care of the appointment customers. My recommendation would be to schedule an appointment, but definitely will come back.
Brought my vehicle here for an air check, the shop guy that helped me pulled my vehicle into some machine and I couldnt believe it! It gave me the measurements of my tires, my alignment reading, air pressure, and even my battery! This is some kind of cool space age technology, but definitely gives a great overall health inspection of your vehicle, for free!
