Best apartments on the island. Period. Are they a bit pricier than other complexes? Yes - but you get what you pay for. This place is beautiful! First apartments Ive ever seen where the pictures in the brochure are a true representation of daily life here. The grounds are immaculate! The pool area is like an oasis, with a huge stone kitchen area for grilling out and a resort style pool with water curtain. The gym is state of the art and available 24/7. Front door trash pickup, covered parking garage - this place has it all! And the office staff is awesome! Whats the catch, you ask? Hmm...living in an amazing complex with resort style amenities, great interiors that feel like a home instead of apartment builder grade, a great staff, good maintenance, and far enough west on Seawall to avoid the tourist noise, but close enough to be in the heart of the action in 3 minutes...the catch is if you dont hurry over and lease you might be on a waiting list! :)
First, let me say that COTI is really a gem and the place to be if you’re living in Galveston. I’ve lived here for 5 years now and here are my two cents. The apartments are spacious and the grounds are always clean and well-maintained. Second, the maintanence are always on top of things. Never had I had a request not resolved within two days. Including a problem with my A/C, in which it was fully replaced with a new unit in about 2 days after it totally broke down. Last but not least, the office staff, Nicole the property manager, in particular, is the most professional manager I have ever dealt with in my 12 years between different apartment complexs around the country. She is always accessible, and always siding with the tenant and trying to solve any problem that may come up in the tenant’s favor.Yes, the propery is a bit pricier than other apartments on the island, but its well worth it if you want peace of mind
Excellent 15 minutes after I wrote work request that my AC was not cooling a technician was at my door & had it running in 30 minutes
This place still has a special spot with me. Ive been here for 2 years and still enjoy pulling through the gates and the ocean view from my balcony. This is by far the best place to live on the island if youre apartment living......
Very responsive and quick to help. The crack looks like is is still open and the tub will be harder to keep clean.
Maintenance did everything I asked for. He also unclogged my drain and opened my windows. Super impressed!
Maintenance at this facility is WONDERFUL! While I was at work, I sent in a maintenance request and within the HOUR I was informed that it had been fulfilled! The facilities here are clean, well-kept, and this place is truly a joy to reside at. 5 STARS from me!!!!
The maintenance request to repair/replace our dryer was outstanding and prompt.
Don’t rent here new management took over August 1, 2021 they are dirty underhanded stick you with charges they can’t explain where the charges come from but threaten you with eviction notices on your door.
Club of the Isle has been a great place to live so far. They are super responsive on maintenance requests and they also made the move-in process extremely easy for me, as they have an elevator so you dont have to lug everything up stairs. My apartment itself is perfect for my little one and I. I also have a perfect view of the water. I am glad I decided on Club of the Isle!
We are extremely pleased with the service here! Came to fix order within 30 mins of request. Love it here!!!
Maintenance is great - timely and professional! Much appreciated!!
Very responsive staff (front office and repair). Grounds well kept. Great amenities. Quiet. Good location (1/2 mile from the beach). Gate closed at night.
Note: I lived here in 2017 just before hurricane Harvey but had to move because of money issues. Wonderful view and size but the cons: when I moved in the elevators were broken meaning the movers had to bring all the furniture up three flights of stairs and we had to bring groceries up and we had two cats, the elevators broke frequently, parking was a pain because you have to pay extra for cover no matter what and I didn’t need my car to be damaged. The pros: huge tub and closet, great space and management.
Submitted an online request for maintenance. The maintenance person showed up pretty quickly & fixed the door. Thank you for your quick reply!
The guys on the maintenance team are awesome! They get things taken care of quickly and efficiently and are always so friendly and polite.
I was not informed about the parking rules prior to moving in, so, being disabled, I parked near the elevator. Between 10:30 and 3:30, my car was towed!!! The apartment was not cleaned very well at all ( filthy disposal, tub, blinds, switches and shelves and a broken toilet seat and a water damaged cabinet below the sink ). I could have lived with most of it, but with such a long list and after being towed ( cost me $264!!!!!), all of this made for a very difficult move in.
We love living at Club of the Isle. Definitely the best complex on the island. Laura and staff are awesome!!!
Garbage disposal was repaired in the same day I turned the ticket in. Disposal works after the repair.
I really enjoyed living in this apartment complex for over two years. Maintenance and office staff were outstanding. They offered complementary breakfast a couple of times a week. Mini golf course, huge pool, nice gym, club house, gas grills. So many good features that I still miss from there.
We stopped by at 9:20am. Posted signs and everything we saw said they opened at 9. After climbing the stairs we found the door locked. A woman did come to the door and opened it enough to see 1/2 of her face. She informed us they did not open until 10. As we were on a time schedule we asked if at least she could give us a brochure as we could not return. She said, No, we dont open until 10, you can come back then. Wow! Great customer service....I hope they are nicer to the residents than their potential residents!!👎
They were very polite. They took care of the problem.
Been 3 years since I moved back to the Midwest. Miss this place very much. Office folks were very nice. Lots of space and good neighbors. Absolutely loved it.
Awesome maintenance staff. Within an hour, the issue was solved.
Very accommodating, Move in was smooth.
These people don’t want to rent apartments. They have the worst customer service of all the places we visited in Galveston. The apartment was nice, but if this is how they treat potential residents I don’t want to live there. The other negative was they charge for parking, pets and who knows what else. There are plenty of other options who want your business
Apartments are spacious and spectacular views!Pool and hottub awesome.Elevators work 1/4 of the time which makes floors 3, 4, and 5!!! pretty hard to carry groceries, or anything else to your apartment. Guests are equally hard to have unless they can climb many, many stairs.
I love the island life and the club of the isle is a treasure. I hope to return there someday. The apartment was spectacular. Dovie was patient and accommodating. No doubt, best place on the island.
I moved to Club of the Aisle in the midst of a divorce and needed a true gated complex. I expressed this to the leasing agent and was never once informed that the gated are left wide open Monday - Friday from 8AM to 5PM. In addition, the elevator in building one breaks regularly. Again, not mentioned prior to move in even though it was a known ongoing issue. I feel strongly that I was not communicated with honestly. Very poor business ethics.
I moved on May 11th and was assisted by Laura and she was very helpful, friendly and showed me various models without any complaints. Love my apartment and the community.
They are horrible,Specially Laura who works at leasing office she has attitudes. When you have to go to her office please get your own Risk 😱😱
I will say the good and the bad starting with the good. In my opinion it is the best apartment complex on the island, relatively newly built, very nice pool, nice office and professional management staff that took care of complaints relatively quick. Maintenance staff are very professional and considerate. Where I lived it was great finishing with ceramic floors and granite counter-tops. The apartment feels big and has large windows making it very well lit. Pool and other amenities are great and it is very family friendly with kids playground. Parking is very easy and elevators are good though, very infrequently stopped working which makes it hard if you are on 4th or 5th and have stuff to carry. The bad: Apartments like mine that are facing north barely get any direct sunlight, it is not dark but if you want sunlight definitely those will not be the best choice choose another direction. Sound isolation between floors is not great and you still hear footsteps of neighbors living above you as they might have hardwood floors(not too bad unless someone is jumping). No major problems with insects, remember, it is still an island so you still might see some mainly silverfish but they are very responsive to extermination requests. AC units are not the best and accumulates humidity and dust though control temperature well. I also had a bad experience leaving the apartment mainly related to deposit dispute as I think I was overcharged and there was no notification of the problems that they are going to charge me for however looking back at everything it does not ruin the whole experience.
A very clean and quit place on the island, up to date on everything, and a great staff. Dont pass this place by, sizes to fit all! Jeff Blalack
Prompt response for maintenance
The maintenance and office staff have been wonderful.. (for the past two years).. . not that previous staff was bad . . . just a tad less integrous.
Thx 4 mailbox keys
Staff was very quick to make corrections during move in.
I had an amazing experience at Club of the Isle. I moved down to Texas from the state of Missouri and this was the first apartment that I stayed in for over 2.5 years! I just recently within this last month relocated to Houston for work. The apartment itself was gorgeous....little features that made it stand out-like double sinks, granite counter tops, huge tubs, huge walk in closets, massive balcony and curved architecture in the framing of the apartment that gave it a very unique feel. Being a woman large closets were essential to me and they were huge, as was the bathtub being big-because I love taking a bath. I personally toured multiple other apartments on the island when I was loosing my roommate and in my opinion these are the BEST apartments you will find in Galveston......I literally drove up and down each street in Galveston and was just stopping at the apartment complexes and no other one compares to these......not in size or price..you wont find another apartment on the island with everything Club of the isle has...I actually paid a $300 deposit on an apartment down the street just because I was thinking I would save alittle bit of money initially when my lease was up the first time but the other complex didnt have a big pool, didnt have a hot tub, no valet trash, no reserved parking, windows didnt even have screens-so I kept thinking about mosquitos, no gym, no walk in closets, and the bathrooms were tiny! So I let them keep the $300 and resigned my lease at Club of The Isle. .I love the resort style pool at the Club of the Isle-its gorgeous and so relaxing to lay out by on those hot summer days-its huge so you dont feel stuffed around a small area, hot tub for later in the evening when you just want to relax. ...the gym was an added bonus-not huge but exactly what you needed,-treadmill, elipical, weights and the basics. They also have valet trash which is a perk-its $7 a month and in Houston I pay $26 a month for the exact same service. your own parking spot which you do have to pay for an assigned spot but I dont have one in Houston and I miss it!!Safety-as I said I came from a small home down in Missouri and this was really important to me- I never ever had an issue the whole time I lived here for 2.5 years...they are gated-which the gates are mostly left open during the day but always secure at night.....theres a security officer on site if needed-which I did use once because I couldnt get ahold of my roommate and I thought something was wrong when I was locked out of the house and the security officer came right over....Office staff-AMAZING...I literally feel like they are the reason I could call Club of the Isle my home instead of just an apartment...if I needed anything everyone was quick to help me....none of my needs were left unanswered...Nicole, Dovie and Laura are all GREAT! Nicole is the manager and she is very professional and courteous. Dovie-who is my personal favorite just because we bonded-is very genuine and will assist you with anything-Literally anything I needed she found a way to help me and never made me feel like I was bothering her-beautiful personality!!! Laura is prompt and will greet you with a smile:-)........ Maintenance guys were very good :-) always took care of the request I put in-and as a girl I always needed them to unclog my drain-fix minor things and I never had any issues-I never felt worried about having them in my place while I was gone either.to me thats very important.....Price was very fair as well........OF course everyone can find little things they dont like but I honestly had such a good experience with them and if it wasnt for my nursing pulling me into the city I would have stayed......If your looking for a perfect apartment in Galveston this is the place to be-bc its conveniently located-with krogers and walmart down the street, beach literally down the street, beautiful layouts- the biggest pool on the island, and hot tub, security and fair price....Katie
I wish I could rate 0 after I made e huge research I found out this place is section 8 apartments lots of people smoking 🚬 in the elevators ! 😱😱😱😱
My a/c went out at the beginning of summer and it took them over two months to fix it.
Poor complex, not a fan, would not recommend especially for Robert ward
Awesome!
I love all the people who work there are super professional
