Blew a tire on my overland rig coming thru Gallup. Called around many places and no one had the size tire a needed and wouldn’t even take the time to help me find an equivalent. Gary went above and beyond, took time to look up the size tire I had, find nothing just one but several equivalents and then identified all of the tires they had in stock. Once the wrecker got my rig there, the guys had the old ones off and mounted 2 new tires within 30 min. They even stayed past their normal Saturday closing for me. 3 days into my vacation and the guys at Shaffer Tire saved my trip! Highly, HIGHLY recommend the guys there!

The services was fast. I was there less then 30 minutes to buy a new tire n have it mounted. I think the price went up but everything else has in the economy. Good fast service. 👍

I had a blowout on the fifth wheel and called as passing through to just replace all six plus the four on my truck. They had to run to their offsite warehouse for some of them but they had me in, out and back on the road in no time. They did a great job and the brothers who own the place are good people. Highly recommend them.

Im gonna give it to you Straight!!! Shaffer tires are Awesome, employees the guys.The owner are great. but,if they say there busy,to have tire Alignment..I dont see 👀 any lines back up for Alignment there.If you pay right out front full cash,not charge for tires you should be able to get Alignment. The problem with ALL Gallup Tire Alignment Shops..Have somekind of ExcusesThan we have to run around, call to get one or make appt. Who has time for appt these days!! Gallup New Mexico is the Capital of $$ making business. 🤔🤪

Great place, very attentive and the salesman looked very hard to find the type of tire we wanted for our jeep renegade and he found them! So we purchased them...Delta tires a few blocks away couldnt and didnt want to do what Shaffer tire Inc.did for us.

Our first time here and we got helpful assistance in choosing tires. Great selection. I even got a free hat with my purchase. The free hat Im sure doesnt come with all purchases, it just happened to come with the brand of tires that we bought. They put the new tires on our truck and we were off. We definitely would go back again. Just a side note this place is only open up to 430pm on Saturday.

If you plan on getting your tires changed here and you want to keep your old ones, make sure they are really yours. Had four of my tires changed out with brand new ones I brought in with me and they pulled a switch on two of my old tires that weren’t worn out too bad with two other severely worn out ones they had laying around.I didn’t notice this until a few weeks later when I inspected my worn tires and saw the brands were different.I really didn’t mind if they kept them but they should’ve asked me first instead of leaving me with two rubber band worn tires In exchange for my two barely worn changed out tires. I don’t blame the owner but he really needs to keep an eye on his crew.

I pulled up at 7 AM before they were even open Schaeffer had all the garage doors open and he was sitting outside on his white chair just waiting for me right after coming from fire stone in and goodwill that tried to sell me $180 tire he did pretty much just a free job took out a nail and sent me on my way and that’s why he’s been in business for 45 years

Our Christian Veterinary Mission group(comprised of folks from NC, FL, IA, NE, TN, AZ, WA, MA, etc.) was traveling across country in I-40 when we blew a tire/fender on our trailer carrying many of our supplies. We quickly googled places to purchase a replacement tire. When we called Shaffer, they were kind, courteous, and helpful. Within seconds of our arrival they came out and replaced our spare tire with a new tire, checked our bearings, and got us an extra spare in case of further mishaps. I cant tell you how impressed we were with their speed and helpfulness. They gave us a fair price, and did NOT take advantage of an emergency situation. Thank you to all of Shaffers staff for helping us, we wont forget your kindness. I would recommend this business to everyone!!!

We had a slow leak, they fixed it for us.

We called ahead regarding a flat tire that needed repair. When we arrived, we were directed to pull into the bay at which point our car and trailer was surrounded by a crew that would rival a Nascar pit stop crew. One guy had the jack, another guy had the airgun, while the 3rd guy got the flat spare out of our camper. They diagnosed the problem as a bad valve stem. They repaired and changed the tire and mounted the spare back under the truck. Not only did they clear the low tire icon off of the dash, and they checked the sensors in all the tires to make sure they were in proper working order. They also checked the air pressure in all of our truck and trailer Tires! All this was done within less than 20 minutes. The price for all of this service was extremely reasonable. This was the best service I have ever had! In addition to all of this, they directed me in backing up our trailer and directed traffic!

My mom financed tires through Shaffer Tires and I just now tried calling to find out how much is left to pay for a set of tires (im the one paying it) and all i got was someone rude asking what company im looking for (im confused because this is the number all over the website)..he wouldnt let me talk and then it was followed by a quick hang up.. It was almost as if he thought i was prank calling and got angry or something..All im trying to is find out the balance so i can pay it in full...or at least get a lead way to finding the balance or something..
