ZIP has helped me move twice. Each time, they have shown their professionalism and efficacy at what they do. They keep in touch regularly about the size of the move, arrival times, and how many movers will be needed to perform the move. On the job, their movers are professional, fast, and take care to package everything securely, as to not break anything. Their services come at a cost, but it’s a cost I would absolutely pay, because ZIP does the job right.

Super friendly from the very beginning right through to the end. I was called a few hours after making a request for a quote by a very professional rep from Zip (David). He walked me through every room of the house to capture all the pieces that needed to be moved. I was then called approximately 7 days prior to the move to confirm everything. The 3 movers showed up on time and very super quick packing up my furniture. They were also very careful and everything was put into blankets or padding. The unpacking was just as fast and professional. Best money spent!!!

I hired Zips Moving and Storage company to move furniture from Bethesda, MD to Ocean View, Delaware. In return, they brought back furniture from Ocean View to my condo in Bethesda. There were several pieces that needed GREAT care as they had been in our family for over 45 years and Milan made sure they were wrapped properly and safely put into the moving truck. The other movers that came with Milan were very good too. They all came masked which made me feel more comfortable as well.There pricing was fair and their communication was amazing. I highly recommend Zips Moving and Storage and would higher them again for my next move.

I had a hand made, one of a kind entertainment center/wall unit moved. This unit is solid wood, 8 ft long and extremely heavy! My moving team took such good care of it! They wrapped it up so that it wouldnt get damaged in the move and took extra care to put it in and take it out of the truck. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to my friends. Zip Moving really went above the call for me. Kat (admin office) was phenomenal to work with. I had a tough situation and needed to move quickly - they were extremely accommodating on the logistics. I didn’t even have a place to live when I booked! As things continued to change they always had a solution.Mike (my moving coordinator) arrived and they moved everything efficiently even though things had changed again the morning that they arrived. They took care of it in a professional manner and whatever had changed from the previous iteration of my quote they took it in stride. It was a very long move but they got everything taken care of for me. Moving is never pleasant, especially on top of an unfortunate situation. They were always understanding and adaptable - it was a great experience!

I recently had a unexpected move i had to make at the last minute and i was very emotional, Beth was so calm and understanding and that alone gave a great impression. Also, Nathan has been the BEST! We contracted with Colonial Van Lines for a move from Washington DC to Nashville TN and they partnered with Zip who is a local DC affiliate. Alex and Benigno were great movers - arrived exactly when expected, contacted us ahead, carefully wrapped all of the furniture and answered all of our questions. They were pleasant and worked quickly. We met them in Nashville one day later where they quickly unloaded and put all of the items exactly where we wanted. Once done, we went over the paperwork then they got started.I was only moving 1 bedroom, but it still surprised me how quick everything was loaded up. We met at the destination, and while there was a problem with another moving truck being in the way for a while, we were able to sort it out quickly and got everything off the truck just as quickly.Everything from the first call looking for an estimate to when we finished the paperwork at the end was handled really well, and I will definitely be a repeat customer when I need to move again.

I had a great experience with Zip. Before moving day, I worked with two members of their team, Andrew and Nathan, to handle the service estimate and account for my needs. Then, on moving day I worked with Milos and Orlando. Since it was a local move I decided to pack and move the smaller items myself, and have Zip assist with the larger furniture. They wrapped and protected about 22 large furniture pieces, brought them over, and placed them to my preference at my new place.Even during the move they continued to communicate and keep me updated with any questions. The guys were friendly and considerate. I would definitely move with them again and I felt that the cost of their service was fair. Just make sure you be as detailed as possible when presenting your needs and what items are being moved so that they can give you an accurate estimate. I gave them as much info as I could and my estimate was very accurate compared to the final cost.

The three person crew was right on time and extremely efficient but safely handled and transported my furniture to my new home and also some to storage. I had some very large and heavy pieces, and they padded and wrapped them well, so no glass broke and everything arrived fine. My movers (Dolly movers) canceled on me last minute and continued to push my move date back. I submitted an online quote request with this company and they responded quickly and were able to accommodate me on short notice. The move coordinator and movers went over everything with me again once they showed up and everything was loaded in and hour. I didnt have any problems and the coordinator followed up to make sure I was ok with everything after my things were loaded and again when everything was dropped off.

At first they seemed like a good company, but I should have noticed the red flags - the biggest one, their refusal to do an onsite estimate.They packed and moved our 3/2 with 3 guys in one day. It took them 13 hours and halfway through the day they were just throwing things around and shoving stuff in boxes. After 9 hours they had me sign a revised estimate for $900 more than the original, which I agreed to. Then at 10pm when I had left to put my kids to bed, they pulled up a second truck and packed up an entire shed full of things I told them not to pack. They also packed floor mats we wrote do not pack on and our fire alarm, literal trash, and old shelf liners, to name a few other things. Then, after they left they sent me an invoice for double the price.When I requested the estimate I signed, they gave me one where they changed all the numbers after I signed - then told me I had signed that. Aside from breaking a bunch of stuff, throwing around our belongings like they were junk and extorting us for $10,000 (not delivering until we agreed to pay twice the original price) - it was unpleasant to be yelled at by the owner about it being normal business practice to alter signed documents and not inform their customers.There were a multitude of other issues, but there is a limit to the amount I can add here. Bottom line, AVOID THIS COMPANY!

ZIP Moving and Storage was amazing! This is my second time using them. My first one was a quick move down the block but this time I used them for a long-distance move (~2 hour drive) and they were nothing but perfect. They showed up on time, continued to keep me informed throughout the day on their status, met me at my new destination on time and worked quickly and efficiently. I followed the directions given via email to pack and label boxes as much as possible. This helped so much, but a few items were taken to storage that should have been taken to our new residence. ZIPS rectified this and brought me my items from storage free of charge within a few days.The gentleman doing the moving were outstanding and hardworking despite major humidity and 80+ degrees outside.The entire move was smooth and minimal (if any!) stress. I am so thankful I used them! Tony and Peter were amazing to work with!

Very quick and affordable. My final price was actually lower than my quote! One mover did not wear a mask though so I would not recommend them during the pandemic. Other than that the service was great.I am actually editing this review after a few days have passed and we are unpacking and settling into our house. A lot of our furniture was dinged up and scraped. One of which was an antique. Our hardwood floors were also scratched in a lot of places and theyre the original floors. They also lost parts of a cabinet that they put together so I cant use one of the shelves, which is actually fine because we can fix that pretty easily but apparently they also lost the pin for one of the hinges so now it is totally broken. Its additionally disappointing because they must have known that it happened but didnt say anything and left it for us to discover later. They were very affordable though but I would have happily paid more for my furniture to arrive in better condition.

These guys were great! They were extremely professional. All the men were wonderful, but especially Jose. He personally walked my daughters doll house a whole block with a dolly. They took such good and careful care of my possessions. They really made me feel like family. They took a lot of the stress off the move. They were incredibly punctual. They called to let me know the exact time of arrival.

Sergio and his team were so great. They were early, which was awesome (they did call an hour ahead to make sure that was ok). They protected every piece, and nothing was broken or scratched. They were super careful as if it was their own stuff they were moving. They were also super fast, even getting some of the heavier items up three flights of steps. Very polite and wanting to make sure everything was where it should be. Prior to the move Zip was on top of it and genuinely wanted to understand my needs to provide the best quote. Their online interface was also super clear and easy to use. I would recommend them over and over to any I could.

I found Zip via another moving company that contracted out to Zip. While I don’t recommend that company (which will remain nameless), the Zip movers were fast, efficient, and took great care of my items on a 400+ mile move. Will work directly with Zip for future moves!

This was by far my best moving experience ever. David Novak was the first person who helped me and walked me through everything while I booked the move. Then I had a personal moving consultant follow up - Peter Bosic who was in touch frequently to lock down the box count as close as possible and make sure if anything needed to be added or removed from my list. They aim to get your estimate/quote as spot on as possible based on what you are taking - so be thorough!Move day - the crew was on time and FAST. My crew was led by Sergio and my team were all polite, professional and went above and beyond. Getting the stuff out of the house was easy - turns out the new place had a LONG walk but they did everything perfectly. They stayed after to make sure everything was exactly where I wanted it. Nothing is broken and I have unpacked everything. They made a very difficult day a lot easier to bear. Thank you Zip!!!
