Professional, very customer friendly, communication with office staff setting up the move. Their process includes the customer taking a video of the contents of the home that are to be moved which was a great option especially with COVID concerns. Perfect execution of the move by a team of four professional, personable, considerate moving staff. Team leader is very organized and both he and his assistants were all calm and efficient and their camaraderie made it a low stress event. China and glass packed carefully with no breakages. Furniture and beds very well wrapped arriving without any problems. Reassembled beds and placed items in rooms and on the balcony as requested. They took away the boxes and packing materials. Included a pre- scheduled stop at storage facility which went very smoothly. This is the second time I’ve had a good experience with JK and would definitely use their service again.

JK Moving was a great company to work with. We had a challenging move and were combining two households into one so there were 2 locations involved. One was a senior living facility and our unit was on the third floor. We had been told a number of things would be done prior to arrival but none of them were. JK did not miss a beat - they were patient, professional, and personable throughout! They took extreme care with all the furniture (wrapping and padding) and even covered doors and stair railing so they were protected. One of their representatives called about an hour into the move to make sure everything was going OK (even asked if guys were wearing masks and they were). Chris, Mario and Pablo were fantastic and made a great team to work with. They arrived promptly at the arranged time - and didn’t stop until the whole move was complete (it was in the 90’s that day). Would highly recommend JK Moving and will use them for any move I make - and hopefully will be lucky enough to be in an area they service. I haven’t even gone into how service-oriented they are - we were running out of time to get the move scheduled. Chris worked with me late on a Friday (after 6 pm) to make sure we had our date / time reserved - they were nearly booked then and we didn’t have a lot of flexibility. I used JK Movers in the past and had a very good experience. Unfortunately, I did not feel as pleased on this move. Upon moving out, the front door frame got damaged and I was not informed about it at the time of the move. Yet, the crew manager walked through both houses and pointed out existing issues! I noticed the damage when I returned later to finish up at the house. More importantly, when unloading the “COLOR CODED AND NUMBERED BOXES”, the movers just put the boxes into the storage room and garage in no order whatsoever! Contents from my garage were placed into my basement storage room. I’m just really disappointed in the situation. After the movers left, I had to move a half dozen boxes that had been placed in front of my circuit breaker…….On a better note, the movers were polite and energized. I’m sorry that the crew manager did not keep the team better organized, and now I have to not only unpack, but need to reorganize my garage and storage situation! I am tired and frustrated!

Three of the movers were great but one got sick and had to leave pretty early. One of the others spent a great deal of the time looking at his phone and hiding from the other movers. They also stacked the boxes way too high where I had trouble getting to them and some were left on their side, even though they were marked dishes and fragile. I have quite a bit of breakage. They completely blocked my kitchen counter so it was difficult to unpack as there was no place I could stack things. The move took a lot longer than it should have so cost me quite a Bit over the estimate even though I had taken several loads ahead of the move.

I recently used JK to move all the furniture from a 3/3 townhome into a 5/3 SFH with three sets of stairs. The temperatures were scorching but this crew were all troopers. When asking to store water in my fridge they were very polite. From start to finish, in fact, they were the best moving crew I have EVER worked with, bar none. They protected all my floors and walls, wrapped everything safely, took things apart for easier movement and then reassembled them perfectly, and asked me how I wanted things placed in the new home, never getting impatient when I had to think about it for a few seconds. The approximately $2,250 it cost me to hire this 4-person crew for 8 hours was honestly the BEST 2 K I have ever spent in my life. I could not recommend this company more, and plan to use them for any and all future moves. (Except, having moved recently, I am now recommitted to the notion of NEVER moving again…)

I used JK twice— once moving out of an apartment into a storage unit and then a year later from storage unit to townhome. When moving into storage unit, JK perfectly wrapped every furniture piece I had quickly and efficiently before moving it into their truck. This helped enormously when it came time to move again AND kept my furniture from getting damaged during both moves. They put down rugs on both homes I had to ensure no damage happened to my properties.Moving into a townhome, I wanted the same crew I had the first time because they did such an amazing job, but ended up with a new group and I have to say they were equally wonderful! They hauled an insanely large king-sized headboard up very narrow staircases with sharp turns and managed not to damage any walls or the furniture themselves. Not to mention, they were super quick but super efficient. Since you pay per hour, they keep that in mind and work super hard during the time they are there. When I saw the bill I couldn’t believe how low the price was for all the insane work they did, it just blew my mind (both moves). Definitely worth hiring them— the entire process was a dream.

Just finished dealing with JK Moving for a move from Virginia to Kentucky for my frail elderly sister who lost her husband to COVID about 3 months ago. She brought waaay too much stuff for her new home. Therefore this was a difficult move several different ways.Allll JK employees I dealt with were AMAZING. Professional, efficient and strong but also super polite and kind. Evidently the drivers of those huge semi truck moving vans are like the captain of a ship. Anyway that is the way I found both Harvey and Al to be, the two drivers I dealt with. If I had to define Harvey in one word it would be competent. He arrived with a crew of 6 and he set the tone for the enormous job of moving in and setting up her household of 25,000 lbs. of furniture etc. I grew up on a farm over 50 years ago watching my father, my brother and the hired hands cutting tobacco and putting up hay. In my experience you do not see people work that hard anymore. Well anyway I haven’t until these JK guys! They worked like Trojans all day — and there wasn’t a crossword between them and I didn’t hear one single curse word.While Al was also quite competent if I had to define him in two words they would be calm and kind. By the time he arrived several days after Harvey piloting the second truck with the 5,000 lbs of overflow we were pretty well fried. I think Al might be the calmest and kindest soul I’ve ever encountered. He was the perfect guy for the job.Orion was the office guy I dealt with from beginning to end. He was unfailingly polite and seemingly always available - days, late evenings, weekends. The few times he was not available someone else also competent was.I don’t know how JK finds these guys and they must be really taking care of them. I hope so anyway.The only bobble in all of my dealings with JK was that they were off a day or two in the dates they originally gave me as when the trucks would arrival and when they actually arrived and in my case this didn’t matter much. They are coordinating a lot of logistics and I suspect that this just happens sometimes in their business.Out of five stars I would give them six.

The company has contacted me showing some level of concern for customer experience. Terrible experience. Crew was disorganized - though they were nice people. Went 3 hours overtime even though Id packed virtually everything prior to their arrival. Got lost on the way to storage- and charged me for that as part of their overtime. Dropped several boxes marked fragile along with 3 pieces of furniture, one completely ruined.

From the estimator Rich to the moving crew headed by Jaylen (not sure of the spelling) we were very pleased with services they provided for our local move. They showed up when they said they would, were professional, courteous, and were very reponsive and easy to work with before, during and after the move. They took good care not to damage anything by covering floors, wrapping furniture, etc. Also, the final price was less than the estimate. Immediately destroyed my high value item by smashing it into a box that was too small. Only one of the five movers was trained, but he was the one that smashed my high value item. He also wouldnt let me view the inventory as he added items or check box/item numbers as they went out the door. Did a ton of damage to multiple items, including furniture. Packed fragile items into a large box with ICE SKATES and no packing material. They left the truck unlocked in an alley all day, even though I told them at the beginning that there had just been robberies there. Got a call three months later, asking me if Id received any items that werent mine.

I recently used JK Moving to move from Maryland to Texas, and the experience was great. I worked with Phil Philbin to get an estimate for my move, I was skeptical of his estimated box count and weight of the overall move, but in the end he was exactly right. Throughout the 3 week process everyone at JK was super friendly and accommodating. My move coordinator Chelsea Cyrtmus was super helpful with answering any questions and was proactively in communication with me regarding the move. I would highly recommend using JK Moving for your long distance moves.

Estimator incorrectly bid the job. The actual movers were on time and EXCELLENT, nothing was damaged. We were over charged due to original poundage and number of trip miscalculations, charged for services/products that were never used, rep. stated she didn’t know hourly rate per mover and wouldn’t provide itemized bill reflecting a discount the estimator guaranteed. We were unable to pay at the end of the move due to the company’s faulty tablet. While disputing the incorrect charges with multiple reps, we were told they are going to send our account to collections.This is the moving company my employer uses and I have submitted a report to investigate possible fraud, waste, and abuse to protect our GOVT/MIL customer against past and future discrepancies.

You know how todays society hates making phone calls because of the sheer inconvenience of having to actually talk to a person, especially since theres this fancy thing called texting? Good thing this company uses texts to communicate quickly! They respond, theyve got personality, and when I did talk with them on the phone, they were friendly and as quick witted as I am. Brandi was the absolute best coordinator I could have asked for.The movers showed up on time and didnt mess around when they got there. Two guys and a big truck got my small townhouses furniture loaded up in a little over an hour. They kept asking if I needed anything else moved, any other items, boxes, etc. The team thought of everything. It was a local move, only 3 miles away, and they were done by lunch. The new place is a 4 story townhouse, and they didnt make one single complaint about moving anything up to the top floor.10/10 would highly recommend. Ask for Brandi!

Carlos Medina and the other two men - Jose and Jose did an amazing job in unloading my belongings today. They came on time, protected my floors and doorway. They worked sooooo hard carrying my things (including some very, very heavy things) up to the third floor without complaining. They worked together as a team.Jose stacked my boxes in a helpful way so the heavy things were on the bottom. They were considerate in putting my furniture where I asked them to. They hardly stopped once to catch their breaths.Carlos was knowledgeable about putting my furniture together. He helped me figure out how to install the lock at the storage unit. I can hardly believe they did ANOTHER job after they unloaded my things!! I think each of them deserve a week off of work and/ or a raise!!

I needed to tell someone just what a great experience we had with our recent move. We were prepared for the usual nightmare and the aggravation of last minute price gouging we have experienced in past moves. NOT TO WORRY!! Our consultant/estimator was professional, straight-forward and easy to deal with. He prepared us for any unexpected charges we might face.Moving day, the crew was on time, kept us posted, was there as promised and very professional. We were told the goods would arrive in one to five days and shocked WHEN THEY MADE IT IN just under one!! Shock number two, in spite of grossly underestimating the amount of stuff we had accumulated in 26 years, we were ECSTATIC when the actual charges were within $100 of the estimate. I couldnt be happier than this even if they paid me. Good folks to deal with.

The coordinator and survey appointment were great in providing care and concern for the moving process as well as responding to our preferences within reasonable time to answer questions via email and phone. The one-day packing/loading/moving & unloading turned out to be better than expected. Most items were carefully packed and the movers used numerous boxes so that each item/box were efficiently packed with care and assembled upon destination. It was an overall good experience for relocating our family and we didnt have much problem communicating with the movers. Monthly storage for a 2500 sq ft household furnishings was very reasonable..The shipment from the ware house, 8 1/2 months, later to our residence in Florida was as good if not better.J&K Moving was consistently on time, the personnel were efficient, polite, and of most importance careful with our belongings. .We have had over 25 moves of our household over the years - our move by J&K Moving was, without a doubt, the very best.Anthony and Alice Quattromani

From the first call on a Sunday morning after calling 3 other moving companies JK Movers were open for business and the representative, Albert, was very receptive and knowledgeable!He followed up with phone calls, patient, and willing to help, no pressure. When we finally coordinated everything I called Albert back to go forward with JK Movers. The workers showed up on time with a great plan. Roy was the lead and again was very helpful, understanding and knowledgeable...all the workers were professional, pleasant and knew exactly what they were doing....I was impressed! They worked hard all day, from 8:00 am - 6:30pm, non-stop! My wigs and I are in transition to retire down South and guess who we’re calling to move us in about a year, JK Movers, without reservation!!!! We highly recommend JK Movers, you won’t be disappointed!!

I have to say that using JK to move my families was completely worth every penny. They were on time, professional and polite. They took great care in moving all my belongings and made the move go smooth as possible. Hopefully I wont be moving anytime soon, but when I do Im definitely using JK.

The crew arrived on time and got to work - very professional. They prepped the from address to protect surfaces/floors, did an impressive job of protecting all items being moved, then prepped to to address similarly. As expected, they put things where I requested rather than guessing and always listened to whatever I said...and they even had suggestions on finer details like orientation of furniture in the new rooms that I appreciated.

We just needed bookshelves and other heavy office items moved inside of our house, up and down stairs, which we could not do. JK arrived promptly, the move was done quickly with the utmost professionalism. We now know who our number one choice is the next time we move! Simply the BEST!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

If you are looking for the best moving company that treats your furniture like it belongs to their own grandmother, this is it! They were fast, cost effective, and completely overdid protective measures for my house and furniture. I cant believe I ever moved my own stuff before. Seriously, dont risk hurting yourself or dealing with the headache of moving. This place was only a couple hundred more than if I rented a truck and moved myself. Ill never move my own stuff again! WOW!
