Computer glitch deleted my photo and was forced to return to front desk to verify my identification. This should have been solved when I checked in. Business should err on the side of the customer. I didnt cause the error and didnt appreciate being called back after I entered the locker room.

It was my 1st time at the gym since quarantine opened backup it was a big location it wasnt busy China wasnt busy the front desk attendants were very nice is ice and let me try out the hydro massage machine And I absolutely loved it it was a perfect way to finish out my workout and Im gonna be purchasing a membership again. I hope the other locations are as friendly and cleanly

Being in the Military I have been to a lot of Gyms. This gym is amazing!I love that I can show up, and get right to my work out. There is enough equipment that I never have to wait for a machine to open up. There is enough free space to do a stretching or do a Yoga class from my phone. there is a broad mix of people at all different levels of fitness that I do not feel intimidated. Since joining I come almost every day and do not foresee that changing anytime soon. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to increase their fitness.

Clean. Simple. Easy. Affordable.I tried a more expensive gym recently, but Planet Fitnesss machines are just better. More adjustable. Perfect for my short self.

Great price and great friendly trainers. You can design a workout plan with a trainer and take any of the classes they offer for the same monthly price.

Beware - I signed up in for a membership at this gym and I had an experience which I can only describe as a scam.They require you to sign up using their app, which I was having a little trouble with, so the person at the counter put in my info into the app. Everything was going fine until a month or so later I start getting vague automated phone messages from Planet Fitness, just saying there is a problem with your account. When I called back, I find out the person at Planet Fitness that put in my bank account number and routing information when I signed up, did so incorrectly. Planet Fitness DID also have my debt card number, which they were using to charge me the monthly $10 fee. BUT because they couldnt charge my bank account directly, for some reason they said they had to charge me a late fee of $15 each month for the last three months. This is even though the $10 monthly fee was still paid each month via my debit card though their automated system. So I had paid 3 months at $25 instead of the $10 that it was suppose to be. On top of that, the manager would not agree to refund the late charges in full. I canceled my membership on the spot.It seems like they make their money not base on legitimate monthly charges for their services, but from made up fees.

I enjoy the location as it’s very spacious and the employees are very nice. Trainer Kenny is best of the best and is an absolute joy to be around. Currently with capacity limits there is sometimes a wait in the late afternoon but it usually isn’t for too long. Overall, it’s one of my favorite locations I visit!

The inside is nice but when you get the black card they charge you so much money above the price of the black card. It’s outrages I never leave reviews but these people money hungry I got charged $54 and 37.99 last time. Never again

Usually quite crowded. Definitely could be bigger with more machines, but is a nice place to go if you’re in the area.

Always plenty of parking I normally go between 3-5pm never any issue with waiting for equipment. I only go thru weekday have yet to experience weekend as those are my rest days but would expect it to be busier. Staff is always professional and kind. Also signing in is painless through the app with barcode scan. Place is clean bathrooms and locker room are clean. Forgot my lock left my jacket in locker for 2 hours and was still there when I went to leave. 0 problems at this location.

Its ugly in here.. But hey.. Its GREAT for a $10.00 gym. Staff is ALWAYS friendly.I saw a man running on the treadmill with his mask pulled down to his chin. I mentioned it to the staff, and they got right on it.. With no hesitation. Makes me feel extra safe coming here. GREAT HOURS.. This is my second gym. I usually go to Lifetime.. But they cut their hours back using covid-19 as an excuse.. But if Planet Fitness is open, they can be opened to. Made me mad!Thanks for being AWESOME P.F.

Been a Planet Fitness member for about 7 years. Very consistent quality and set up. The energy of the clubs are highly dependent on the local members. This club is a good mix of serious weightlifters as well as newbies doing their thing. All workout together well and the space is clean.

What gym in 2021 does not allow you to cancel a membership online/email/phone? Its baffling that someone who has moved out of state will need to come in person to cancel their gym membership. Extremely inconvenient to say the least. Why are online membership cancellations not allowed at Planet Fitness?

I was hesistant to go in at first. But when I did. I use my key pad on my phone, once I entered. And it on!Clean, everyone was cleaning after every use. Being this was my first visit. I went between 7a-9a. A litte busy for me. However, I made good use of my workout.Staff is friendly. Will go again

Place is nice. Its not very crowded, but sometimes do end up waiting for a machine or grips for the cable machines. Free weights and cardio equipment are generally available though. All-in-all, worth the ~$12/mo.

Most of the times that people enter or leave the gym nobody greets them or say goodbye anymore. Very annoying to join a place where you dont feel welcome. Most of the employees are only watching their phones. Having second thought of changing to other gym. The night crew should be monitored.

They are really following the COVID19 policy. Due to me being in the high risk when I went in the gentleman told me the hours they have of membership activity. Always clean. Access to material to clean your workout equipment. Never disappointed with the Germantown location.

They wouldnt accept me because someone before me registered the number... They wouldnt try calling it, no override, no desire to inform a manager, and if that was the manager.... Geeezus. This must be the Walmart of gyms...

Doesnt seem like staff cares if their guest/gym goers have their masks on properly. I saw many people with their masks on their chin and their noses completely exposed.

Great place to exercise. Friendly people and instructors. Place kept very clean. Great low fees. Great equipment. I am very satisfied.

I love planet fitness, but this location is not my fave. I can never find a workout mat and the patrons in the Italian Restaurant just sit there and stare at you while you workout.... weird

The staff is friendly and the place is always clean. There is plenty of equipment available and repairs are made quickly when needed. I dont use the showers there so I cant speak to their quality. I do wish they had aerobics or yoga classes, but since theyre by far the most affordable gym around its understandable that they dont.

I like the fact that they keep the place neat and clean.The social distancing and face mask 😷 wearing Protocols are really observed.The workers are respectful and also doing a great job.So far I’m really impressed with how things are going over there.If someone is looking for a place to workout i recommend no other place than PLANET FITNESS!!!

Great location, plenty of parking during my morning sessions and love the convenience of the cleaners next door. The trainers are very knowledgeable and engaging. The variety of sets during a workout really challenge attendees and allow several muscle groups to have more time under tension. Ive attended this location for over two (2) years and have seen the benefit of consistency, good training and timed sessions.

I really like this gym - the membership is reasonable and the gym is close. I would give them a 5 if they would keep their tanning beds/booths cleaner. This is a really health issue and I purchased the Black membership (also very reasonable) so that I could use their beds/booths. They need to be cleaned on a regular basis.

My wife went in there trying to get a membership. The associates behind the desk were rude and told her to just use the kiosk to get a membership. She asked questions about the black card membership the person behind the desk had no clue what that was when there are signs all over the gym about the black card membership. The experience that she received and attitude that she got speaks volume about how they truly care about their members.

It’s a pretty good place, it’s not overly expensive it has good machinery that isn’t broken, the stuff is generally pretty nice and welcoming, the bathrooms are dirty it’s a very nice place to work out

I would like to give a special recognition to the 2 gentlemen/staff that work the overnight weekend shift. These 2 gentlemen are very polite and have excellent customer service. They also work so hard in keeping the club clean. They dont just clean the floor and bathrooms, but they actually clean the equipments too. Not even Golds Gym or LA Fitness Fitness cleaning crew cleans the equipment. Quite possibly the cleanest gym, with respectful and professional staff members.

I love going to Planet Fitness, I have been a member for many years. In the past, I have cancelled my membership several times trying to go to other gyms, but always seem to return to the Planet! It would be nice if they had a bigger area for stretching.

Membership is okay- I like the idea of having a studio, instructor and class. Also when I received my personalized workout plan it was not personalized it was a generic work out plan and did not have my name on it. I dont really like the popping purple colors. Its a good gym to go in do your own work out and then leave.

Staff is very nice and I really do like the facility. The weight machines are very close together so it sometimes feels very packed, but thats to be expected. Great for the price!

Im a black card member and I absolutely love those perks! Using the tanning booth and hydro massage bed is awesome and incredibly helpful. Not to mention the availability since there are so many locations to go to.

Before i like the planet fitness here in muddy branch. but now i don’t like it because all the new employee are not friendly and they don’t know how to help there customer and they making fun of there customer. i like the old employee before .. some people took so much time using the Smith machine . supposed to be only 30mins but some people using it more than an hour.

New to this club but certainly not to health clubs. Well managed and trained staff. Courteous. Clientele seems considerate and focused. Machines and premises clean. Not overly crowded. Pleasant surprise!

Out of all the Planet Fitness’s that I have gone to. The Muddy branch location is hands down my FAVORITE!!! The staff is awesome, the locker room and gym is always clean. Plus if you have a question about the equipment, the personal trainers are always willing to help.I’m so happy to call this my home gym.

I would rate Planet fitness much higher if MANAGEMENT and STAFF would make ALL members aware (understand) that cell phones use is NOT PERMITTED in the free weights and machines areas.I have noticed and experienced on many occasions, people sitting on weight benches & machines texting (not working out) from a few minutes to almost 15 minutes at a time! Not only is this rude but it interrupts those of us who are focus on exercising - work the free weights and machines and move on!!!I have been a member for many years and Im seriously considering closing out my membership if this continues! Hopefully, management and staff will aggressively work on a plan to correct this rude and very bad behavior!!Lastly, as a suggestion to management and staff, have postings/signs throughout the gym and especially at the front desk as you arrive making EVERYONE aware of this problem.Thank you for your understanding and your immediate action to the above aforementioned will be greatly appreciated!

Gaithersburg club entirely too small. Too crowded. The on downtown silver spring is good. Lots of space and the people are so kool

What can you say about Planet Fitness? Its the bargain basement of gyms, and you get what you pay for. If you want fancy, be prepared to spend $40 a month more at a gym with a bunch of amenities. The staff here is really friendly, so high marks for that. Other than that, its a cheap gym. Weights (machines and free weights) and cardio equipment. Ive gone for two years simply because thats all I need from a gym and you cant beat $99 for an entire year. As long as you know what youre getting and are fine with that, youll like this gym. Otherwise, head to Lifetime or LA Fitness nearby. More expensive, but youll get the pool and spin classes and all that jazz.

Love the staff, very friendly. Would like to see some overall upgrades. Have been to a few in the WMA and some of the locker rooms are remodeled. Newer equipment, etc. I know it’s tight on space, but little things are noticed! :)

Better than other Planet fitnesses in the area due to the space and the fact that it never feels full. One star off for the mens changing room though. Very tiny and alot of the lockers are scuffed up.

Awesome place to be. Fun, affordable, and truly therapeautic considering I go to treat my plantar fascitis and depression. I love being a black card member because I get to bring a friend and to use the various therapy machines like tanning and hydromassage.

Lots of equipment, unfortunately the only ones I liked to use were unreliable. I had to cancel my membership after 3 failed attempts at trying to complete a workout on three different Arc Trainers. Halfway through the workout when I wanted to change the level, the machine would get stuck on a level, and three dashed lines would display (---). Incredibly frustrating!

Its a good workout place. I have been to many planet fitness but the one in Gaithersburg is somewhat conjusted. There is no separate space for stretching exercises. I havent seen medicine ball and those exercise balls anywhere.Overall a good gym.

Spoke to Tyler on the phone about transferring my membership and he was quite professional and he patiently guided me through the process. Thats good customer service.

Great latino restaurant, great hospitality, good food, both Mexican and American (lobster, barbeque ribs, chicken, etc).

You can always go in a get what you need done, there’s enough space and usually enough equipment to do what you need and get out. Nobody’s there being dramatic. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Worst experience ever. I was a member of the gym and I love it I would come every single day . But I just had a problem yesterday and I was kicked out from the staff because of this white American young woman just because me and my boyfriend were in the in room testing out the tanning bed that’s inside the black spa room. We never caused anybody harm nor disrespected nobody. She came in and seemed as if she was on some kind of drug and started to be racist towards me and my boyfriend, she was disrespectful and started yelling at us and told us to get out, and this lady doesn’t even worked there. I’m not sure why this lady had the intention to do so, but she did. I was very unhappy as far as what happened yesterday. I’m very disappointed. The staff there kicked me out when we didn’t even do anything but test out the tanning bed. We are both banned from all planet fitnesses locations due to this when we never did anything. this is absolute racism and discrimination I thought it was a no judgement zone but I guess I was wrong. My boyfriend spoke to the manager through the phone and he didn’t help us at all or hear him out very unprofessional I’m very sad because I loved this gym.

Crowded, poorly maintained and they dont allow you to pay via credit card. The free classes often blast through the gym taking up big sections of equipment and sometimes kicking other members out of whatever area they settle in.

Ive always had a good experience, enough equipment and machines to get in and out in decent time. Staff are professional, gym is clean and not cramped. Definitely get more than you pay for. Great gym.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Facility clean and well maintained. Open 24/7 so no excuse not to work out. I have visited many PF clubs in other cities and the Gaithersburg PF I belong to is the best.

Love my new gym, im always greeted coming in and checking out. love the variety of machines, the hydro massage, massage chair AND the candy on my way out. I love how professional the staff are always smiling and cleaning up around the gym. i couldnt be happier

Been going for years. Only place that works with my night owl schedule. I would love a real bench press rather than smith machines...but its a trade off. Friendly night time staff. Always clean. For 20 bucks a month I can bring a friend to every workout as a guest.

This place has all of what I need to get a great workout the staff is very friendly and the trainers are always ready to help it is exactly what I expected for my first time back to the gym. A lot of people have given negative reviews but I just dont see it the gym is great.

Great place to work out. Always clean and equipment works. Not a place if your plans are to become a world class bodybuilder but if you just want to get into or stay in shape then its a place for you.

PF has a lot of good machines and a pleasant environment to workout (no loud music!). Three things are missing - (1) a cardio rowing machine, (2) premoistened wipes to clean the machines after use (only messy paper towels and sprays), and (3) a scale - to monitor ones progress over time.

Spacious, everything new. Nice staff and big parking lot.
