Been a customer for over 15 years and very satisfied with their service. I put the trash cans out the night before and they don’t miss picking them up. The tops to the containers are put back on or put inside (mine are flexible) so the tops are not lost. Larger items have been accepted, however, I always call the company ahead of time to verify it is an item they can take. All of the people I have spoken to are kind and helpful.
These people are great!Used them for more than 20 years. I should remember them with more $$$ at the end of the year for their great crew.

I never write reviews. But today I will. Zero review if I could.I have no review towards the service, but with their drivers, I do. They are reckless. Howard C., one of their drivers struck me big time in Hwy 270 and FLED THE SCENE. I was left alone in 270 shattered and scared, thank God my children were not in the car with me. And that I drove my Suburban that day which protected me. I had to FOLLOW this blue trash Wright Away Refuse truck for 3 miles just so I could get the plate number and report to the police. Drivers around me allowed me to follow him and I have plenty of witnesses. I even drove next to him and plead that he stop, he DIDNT... Instead, he just looked at me and sped away. Reported to the police. I called Wright Away Refuse and politely asked to speak with a manager and the lady that answered was so RUDE and said their driver never noticed me. No apologies at all. All I wanted to do is report the recklessness of their drivers so that it wont happen again. Next time, they might kill someone. He didnt notice me? The trash truck knocked down my passenger car door handles and transferred blue paint all over my black suburban. And I saw him and he saw me. He knew what happened. POOR accountability from this company.
My calls always got returned. Easy billing. Good communications. I like the feel of a small business vs. the larger businesses. Wright Away acted like my business is important to them. They were referred by my neighbor.
We have been a customer for years. Today we put our trash can on the curb at 6:00 am. Later that afternoon I found that the trash was not picked up. We called and talked with a lady that seemed not to care about our problem. I was told that we missed the pickup and should have put the can on the curb the night before. Again, I put the can on the curb at 6am. The company should not even be in the development before 7am, that is the county law. In talking with the lady she told me that they were dropping me as a customer and I will be receiving a refund check for the month of October. I did not ask for a refund...just to pickup my trash. I asked to speak with the owner and was told that was not going to happen. Then I asked for her name and was told she was Bonnie and Clyde. REALLY, I cannot make this stuff up. Very unprofessional and rude person on the phone.
Multiple missed pickups on consecutive weeks. No advance notice of what holiday pick up days will be. trash just sits out on street until we can finally get a hold of them to come. When they do observe a holiday (unannounced), they pick up on thursday instead of the very next day like all normal companies.
RUDEST company ever! One of the drivers engaged at the curb with my husband aggressively and tried to come at him for no reason other than my husband asked if they could put cans back on our property. Trash is constantly left everywhere and cans strown. Ive had enough. Moving services
I like this company. Friendly on the phone when I ask for bulk pickup and it is easily scheduled.
These people had an attitude when they spoke to my wife and told her that they didnt want to deal with the hassle of picking up our garbage. Terrible Company and Terrible Service.

We signed up with Wright Away Refuse because we were told of their exemplary customer service. The service fees are significantly higher then many other options in the area, but we thought the service would be worth the cost. Very disappointed. We have had several missed pick ups. Holiday delayed pick ups are unpredictable and are almost never on the following day, like with most other companies. At one of the recent pick ups, the driver left behind the trash that was blown out of the trash container and was just two feet away from the trash bucket. When I called the service, no one answered, but they left me a message stating that their drivers dont have phones on them and can not be reached to come back and pick up the trash they left behind. Overall, the quality of service has declined and we are currently researching better options. After using it for 2+ years, we can no longer recommend this company.
I’m seriously going to think about switching to another services. It’s annoying the garbage didn’t get picked up. They didn’t send out notification how holidays are going to change its pickup schedules. And they don’t even have a website for clients to check holiday schedules.
They dont do special pick ups but they are a good service this is a real review
