I had an excellent experience at this UPS store. I needed to ship a very large picture that had glass. Jared was extremely helpful and genuinely cared about the content of my package. He worked with me to ensure that the package was labeled correctly to keep it properly oriented so that it would not be placed on its side. He also added Fragile stickers in the right places to also ensure correct orientation. Thank you, Jared, for you help!
This is my go to UPS store. I didnt realize that when I placed my printing order, the pick up date was the next day but I urgently needed the printouts the same day. Unfortunately, I had missed the cutoff time for same-day printing. I called in and spoke to Mike and he was exceptional and went above & beyond to help me. At first he could not find my order and told me to give him a few minutes to search and he would call me back. Well weve all heard, I will call you back from retailers. But he actually called me back after locating my order and told me I could come in and pick up my copies. Also, when I showed up, even the other associates were attentive. Kudos to this location for making customers feel important.
Just went to UPS this morning to do an Amazon drop off/return. I was a bit confused with this process because I’m used to doing returns at Kohl’s. Jared was great at explaining what I needed to do to send back the items…and thankfully it only cost me a dollar :) (ps: if you have an Amazon return, make sure to bring the box or a dollar for the bags UPS has. It’s not always like Kohl’s where you can just turn in the item). Thanks Jared for your help!
This past weekend I was in desperate need of a notary. When I explained my situation to the staff at this UPS location, they were very empathetic and took care of me as if I were a friend instead of just a customer. Wonderful customer service here. I had gone to a different UPS store on Saturday with an odd shaped item to ship. They didn’t have the right size box and recommended I go to the main UPS service center on Gaither rd. I went there and they are closed on Saturday 🙄. Went there today only to discover they not only didn’t have a box that would fit, they don’t pack items there! After checking Home Depot and online, I found a place with what I thought was the correct size. Went to this store and Jared waited on me. He determined that the box I brought was not big enough but he found one they had that worked 😁. Whew! Should have come here first. Highly recommend.
We had the most excellent service during a busy Saturday. Jenny Tobar assisted us in every way possible: she took our passport photos in a matter of minutes, helped us to return packages and guided us on which overnight envelopes we needed. She made sure we had a very good experience at this location, which mind you, had a very long line, but the UPS team kept on moving the line fairly quickly. Will definitely return.

I went in for notary service and wound up having fun! There was a line (socially distanced of course) and Jenny, Jared and Kyro were super efficient in taking care of everybodys needs while still acknowledging people as they came in. I received a wonderful service from Mike at this location. Before going to the store I was anxious about the process of shipping multiple boxes to the west coast. Mike was a life savor. He took care of everything & went above & beyond to make sure everything is out to the right size box and gets shipped on time. It was one of the best experiences I ever had with UPS store. UPS Store #4331, 509 Quince OrchardExcellent ExperienceToday, first on telephone I met a very Pleasant young lady, Dana, and asked her for assistance due to I explained to her I was a senior and disabled and need assistance with returning a cracked 32 in TV to Amazon which I was having difficulty with. Ms. Dana extended herself and assisted me to the fullest when I pulled up, she removed the TV box from my trunk, assisted me with the shipping label, confirming address label correct, paying, etc. Without Ms. Danas help, I would not have been able to return my package due to my mobility. It would have been very difficult for me.Ms. Dana went beyond her call of duty for me and she didnt have to; and Im very appreciative of her service and God bless Ms. Dana.Please, I highly give praise where its due. This facility provides a really useful service for accepting parcels and other mail. Ive been renting a mailbox for 18 months now, and Ive been very positively impressed by the excellent service I get from the manager (Ms. Fardova), and her staff. I recommend it highly!
I went to the bank to get a paper for school notarized I waited maybe five minutes and left because I am not waiting longer than it takes to actually notarize the paper. I came to the UPS store and was helped immediately by Renata!
On saturday i went to the ups store and there was this wonderful young lady that help me she did a great job and help me out i ask for her name for i could say this about her and it was jenny tobar she was wonderful and really nice and kind
Computer turned off and charged me $10 when it shouldve been $3.21 plus the guy didnt scan my documents the way I needed them. So lost $10 and my time

On Friday I experienced one of the best customer service Ive ever had. My father recently passed away and I needed to have several documents notarized. I was running late to the UPS and was greeted by a gentleman named Brandon, I told him I needed a notary, he then called I believe his name is Kiro. He immediate came from the back of the store to assist me. Im assuming he noticed me having a really bad day because I had just moved to the DMV area from Florida with the hopes of getting power of attorney and to be able to sell my dads house. It was nearly 10 different documents. I was very frustrated and didnt know what I needed to sign nor if what I brought with me was sufficient. Kiro read through the documents with me, showed me where to sign and date and offered his apooliges for my loss. I told him moving here was not easy nor do I have funds to get the move complete. I was fighting with my siblings over this estate. After being at the UPS Store for nearly an hour, I was finally done with all of my notary and copies. I asked how much is my total and Kiro said, this is my blessing to you, your services today are free. I immediately turned red and began to cry, I was speechless because at that point, I could barely afford gas and food. I have to say that the experience at that store is one I will never forget. When I get my life in order and all of the legal stuff out of the way, I will come back and give him what I owe with a HUGE thank you. The store manager is a very nice person, but the staff can be rude and condescending if the manager is not present. For the most part, small Packages can be handled fairly easily but for larger items, there’s no assistance. The store is seriously lacking any type of assistance in carrying packages and could use at the very least a package cart to assist customers to get in and out of the store.Its common to see people struggle to carry multiple boxes with no assistance from the staff.

I was in the area looking for notary services while in the area and they had a notary available so we stopped by. The service was quick and we were able to get our work done in a few minutes. Location is nice and parking is okay too, though the parking lot was quite busy during the day.
I frequent this location often and there is always a very rude young lady who works here. This mornings interaction was the last straw for me. She’s got a very bad attitude and acts like you’re inconveniencing her. At a time like this, you should be very grateful to even have a job. It makes coming to this store very uncomfortable which is unfortunate because everyone else is very nice. This woman does not deserve a job in customer service.

Not only was the woman who “helped” me incredibly rude, she spelled the recipients name incorrectly after I spelled it for her very clearly and she put in the address wrong. Her whole job is customer service and importing data and she failed at both. Plus the parking lot is a nightmare. I will never come back.
The store started opening at 10am on the weekend a few years ago which has been a nightmare for receiving packages. I either have to time stuff to arrive during the week or come to my house (which defeats the purpose of having a mailing address) because the store tends to be one of the first delivery stops and no one is there yet which then delays packages to the next day.
I visited this location 3 times in the last week. I was told it would cost $2 for the store to print a label for me to return an item to Amazon. A few days later I returned with my own printed label only to be told that I need a packaging envelope to return my visors to Amazon. I was NOT told I needed a purchased shipping envelope the other day. I think it is RIDICULOUS that employees arent telling customers everything they need to know about shipping items back to purchasing companies. I will NOT support this location ever again. UNPROFESSIONAL staff!!

I am always greeted within moments of walking into the door. I use this store for drop-off shipments, personal shipping, overnight shipping, document shredding, Notary Public, and the occasional greeting card purchase. The staff is professional and knowledgeable. Parking is busy, but thats been my experience with most businesses in this area.

Awesome experience and great customer support. Arman was very helpful. I had trouble packing a stroller in the original box it came in and wanted to buy a bigger box to fit it in. Arman said that would be expensive and he helped me to dismantle the stroller and load it in the same box. Greatly appreciated and he saved me from spending 20$ on a box. Thanks.

Ive only done dropoffs of Amazon returns at this location, but they are friendly and fast for those. I usually dont even have my package or label taped, and they just take care of it. Great service.
Awesome experience at this store. Unlike the UPS store in Germantown, this one doesnt charge for tape. Also, the employee helping me offered to tape and process everything himself. I wish I caught his name. I went there on 8/24 at 4:30 pm and was helped by a friendly young African American employee. He definitely deserves a raise! I will surely go back to this store from now on!

Had to do a package return. Dropped off here today (5/9/2016) and was instantly greeted by a friendly employee. When I came back with the (large) box, she opened the door for me, quickly took care of the package, offered to process my USPS letters she saw in my purse, and I was back in my car in less than a minute. The UPS Agent Sarah was pretty rude to me her customer service was pretty poor.Another agent had to come finish the transaction for me which i think she was pretty helpful. I will advise Sarah to work on her customer service skill and try to be nice to customers. I come down there to send mail all the time and this is first time i have encountered a very rude agent like Sarah.

UPS service at Gaithersburg branch is extremely poor, unacceptable!I have an expensive item that was sent to me via UPS 2-day Air and requires signature on delivery. The package arrived around 8am on Tues 1/29 at Gaithersburg MD (less than 10 miles from my house). A message on that day stated severe weather has delayed delivery to next business day. On Wed 1/30 I saw a message saying that Out for delivery so my husband stayed home all day on Wed, and again on Thurs 1/31, but no delivery. I called the UPS Customer Service in Gaithersburg on Friday 2/1 morning, was told that the package was out for delivery and I should expect to receive it by 7pm. My husband stayed home all day on Friday, still no delivery. Today is Saturday 2/2, still no delivery. This kind of service is unacceptable. If I could give negative star for rating, I would! I hope the UPS management takes this into consideration because I would strongly recommend other people NOT to use UPS. Thank you.Update on my post: as of 1:30pm today (Saturday 2/2), I still havent received my package. I called the UPS Customer Service office in Gaithersburg again and was told that due to weather condition, the delivery of your package has been delayed. When I asked when I should expect the delivery, the answer was I dont know. I then offered to pick up my package, the answer was sorry, we closed today. When I asked to speak to the manager, the UPS representative hung up the phone. Well, I live in Potomac, less than 10 miles from the UPS delivering facility. I know what the weather has been liked in the last few days. The temperature today is in the mid-30s to lower 40s and it is sunny. What kind of customer service is this? I read some very very negative reviews for this UPS branch in Gaithersburg, and now I am a victim of this extremely poor service. I shop online quite often and from now on will ask all of my sellers NEVER NEVER NEVER use UPS.

The arent qualified to professionally pack and they are unwilling to accept responsibility for the damages they cause. One star is too high for the services I recently received from them.
