WARNING-ALL DATA LOST FROM PHONE AFTER SCREEN REPAIRI brought my phone in for a simple screen repair. The first thing I asked the service representative was if my data (photos-texts, etc.) would be lost. I was told by the service representative that my data would NOT be lost. I confirmed this response twice, the service representative guaranteed me that my data would not be lost. I was told that the phone screen would be replaced, period.When I picked up the phone the service representative told me he was updating my phone. When I dropped off the phone I was told that the screen would be replaced and my data would not be lost. I was NEVER informed that my phone would be updated.The service representative terminated the update upon my arrival, instructing me to finish the update at home, as he needed to close shop.When I returned home I followed the instructions provided, to hold the power and home button until my computer recognized the device. I was them instructed to select update of the options provided. Upon completing the update, ALL of my data (5 years of photos and text messages- to include photos of my child from age 4 years to 9 years were lost).When I contacted the service representative, I was told that he informed me that my data may have been lost and that he may need to do an update. BOTH COMPLETE LIES. As I even had a witness to the original service appointment. The representative did offer a complete refund, however, he would need to replace the fixed screen with a broken screen in order for me to get a refund! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!THE SERVICEMAN: LOST MY INFORMATION (5 YEARS OF MEMORIES); DID NOT INFORM ME OF THE SERVICE PROVIDED AND LIED TO ME!

My screen broke early one morning which always puts a damper on the day. From the time I called to inquire about their ability to fix my phone to the time my screen was fixed was about an hour and a half. I was super impressed with their efficiency, kindness and professionalism through the entire process.

They are very quick and friendly. Its a good idea to call ahead if you need a more complicated repair than a screen replacement.

The fist time i let these people fix my screen they didnt do it right and my phone screen blacked out 2 weeks after. I brought it back they replaced it again & now my screen is blacked out again!! it is clear these people dont know what they hell the are doing, but yet have the nerve to be charging almost 200 bucks to fix a phone screen. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

This is the best place! I promise you. I have gone here twice. Once where my iPhone 6s screen shattered. The technician is very professional and polite. The 2nd time my daughter cracked both screens on her iPhone and both times it was no more than $75, and they give you a screen protector for free. It took no more than 2 hours. Please go here if you need your phone fixed.

Took my iPhone 7 in to replace the screen. Everything was functional. They attempted to replace the screen, gave it back to me, the button wasnt working and that haptic clicking started vibrating when I walked back in to show him. He apologized, took another 10min, put the original cracked screen on and said he would have to order a new screen and to bring it back tomorrow. At this point the home button didnt work nor did the charging port. Came back the next day, gave me the phone after dropping off and said, oh and the home button didnt fit so I had to put in another home screen button so your Touch ID wont work. I not understanding, asked if I had to pay for the new home button, and he replied no, they replace them with the screen. Later that night, the home button actually came loose and pulled away from the screen. I looked up and researched replacing this screen and found out that the only reason a person would replace the home button is because they tore the ribbon that connects it to the logic board - which only apple can replace and make the Touch ID work - yet wont now that an after market place attempted to repair. Knowing I was lied to, and clearly not competent now twice to get the home button working and now not attached...I went to another place that also works on a computers. The very knowledgable technician opened it right in front of me to inspect it and showed me that not only the one screw that holds the home button in was MISSING whichI suspected after watching the YouTube video on how to replace it, another screw was missing AND the water gasket was also not installed which comes with the screen replacement. This place popped in the two screws for no charge and sent me on my way knowing I will be coming there for now on. Now this phone is worth nothing if I attempt to sell it later since the Touch ID isnt working. Since I was lied to (the home button doesnt fit) and the incompetence of leaving out screws, I strongly recommend not taking your business here. It should have been handled with hey, I broke the connection so your Touch ID wont work, let me find a new/used iPhone 7 and replace this for you, would have been the professional thing to do. Negative stars if that was an option.

I took my iPhone 6S in a little over a month ago, because I had cracked the living hell out my screen. They fixed my screen in just a few hours. My screen looks almost factory new!! It only cost me about $75. A very responsible price considering how badly cracked my screen was.

I came November of 2018 with a broken screen and a shattered camera they took 2 days to order parts for my iPhone 6s. I kept having to come back because the phone wasn’t functioning so they convinced me to change the battery too. I got tired of going back and fourth and just lived with the slight issues I still had. Now August 2019 my camera fell apart my phone battery freezes at 30% and my “high quality screen” doesn’t work any longer. I brought it back and they couldn’t help me at all just changed my camera for 30 dollars. I came to Lakeforest Mall to the Phone Repair Lab and Eddie was able to solve all my issues like magic. I recommend you save your money and go to the Lakeforest Mall and get your phone actually fixed with Eddie.

Fix My Phone in Gaithersburg was great. I Googled, I read the reviews and then I called. They answered my questions and gave me a very fair price for the repair over the phone. The location is new and doesn’t look like much but don’t let that fool you. The speakers in my iPhone 4S stopped working. I could have fixed it myself but I did not want to wait on parts or potentially screw up my phone. I dropped the phone off and had it back in less than a ½ hour. They had the part and they had fast service. The store is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Plus you can get a quick lunch nearby while you wait. Give them a try.

I have an iPhone 5 that is out of warranty and the sleep button and the lower-volume button were broke. Both buttons broke AFTER the warranty had expired. I discovered Fix My Phone from a friend of mine and I took my phone in for repairs. In a VERY short amount of time, my iPhone was repaired and now both buttons are working perfectly and the iPhone is as good as new. There is NO reason to take your phone for repairs at the Apple Store when you can just go to Fix My Phone. If you live out of the area, you can also ship your phone to them and they will repair it quickly and ship it back to you.

You wouldnt expect to go to a store to get your phone fixed only to come out with it worse. I went to get a home button issue fixed and the lady returned my phone with the home button completely NON functional. My phone also turns off randomly now after their service, which DID NOT happen before. Only reason I give two stars (instead of one) is because the employee was nice and probably did not intend to make the situation worse.

This place is amazing! I went in a few months ago after my phone had been sitting in water (actually, my sons spilled bubbles solution). They replaced my screen, battery, and did other water damage control for only $130. That sure beat buying a new iphone (I still had over a year left on my contract). They were honest about it being a 50/50 chance that it would work because of the severity of the water damage...but it has been just fine ever since! Until...I dropped it flat on the tile floor yesterday (I have never been this clumsy with phones before!). I went back in and they took less than 10 minutes to check it out. The battery had simply popped out of place. They put it back together and didnt even charge me! Oh, and they remembered me from my one visit a few months ago...impressive! What a great resource...no need to purchase a new phone while these guys are around :)

Just got my sons iPhone 5s repaired after being off for many months. The lady behind the counter was sweet, professional, thoughtful, and cost orrientated. She could have easily suggested I needed a new battery after it not charging immediately after the screen repair. Instead she suggested that we wait and see. VIOLA! it was just a minor thing given that the phone had been off for many months. The new screen was installed flawlessly and works perfectly. She even installed a second protective screen for me as well and the cost was well worth it. I would highly recommend this store for any and all phone repair needs. Even if just to get a second opinion on a phone repair because they have proved to me that they are a reputable company with ethics. A+ Highly Reccomended.

These guys were fast and fair -- exactly what I needed today. I needed to have them replace my screen and they charged me a fair price for it. Repair kid is a genius. My down volume button was stuck on my Samsung S-8 and AT&T couldnt fix it so I would have had to return it for replacement for a $150 deductible. Kid fixed it for $25 bucks while I waited.

I went to this to fix my iPhone 11 when I got it back my side button was not working it was completely stuck and so hard to press and the back cover the got to replace it with was terrible I spent $250 for horrible job please don’t take your brand new phone there

My sons iphone 6 was water damaged. Found this store online with good reviews and gave it a try. I was told that if they could not fix it, they would change a $20 diagnostic fee. It was a very good experience. It took about 30 minutes to figure out that the phone needed a new screen and a new battery. The technician checked every function of the phone before he charged me a very reasonable fee. After a few hours, the screen started flickering. I took the phone back to store. Without any question, they put a new screen on and the phone has been working fine.

My phone was water damaged. Paid $20 for them to take a look. Came back the next day, they want $130 for the LCD and the battery they replaced (??) AND the phone still NOT working. I asked them to pull out their components and put it back the way it was. Came back again the next day to pick up my broken phone. Went home and open it up only to find out MANY components/screws/brackets... are missing in my phone. They didnt even have the decency to put back the way they found it. What kind of a business is this? I will NOT come back even this is the last place on earth -- 3 trips and $20 later, my phone is now less than paper weight - unfixable. Customer services was so horrible. I dont normally leave a bad review but this is beyond bad.

This place should be called Break My Phone, because they will break your phone and not refund you.My mother took her HTC one M8 here to get the screen replaced because of a cosmetic crack. The place charged her close to $200 bucks to change the screen and after about 2 weeks they returned it to my mother.At that moment you could easily tell the job was performed very poorly, The top of the screen was sticking out and not flush with the case like it was previously. it seemed like the screen they put in there did not fit the phone!Also the screen had a strange feel to it. I suspect it was a cheap knock off screen or something, BUYER BEWARE!After about a few weeks the screen started glitching out and showing weird lines and colors, when we took it to the shop they said it wasnt their fault because the replacement screens for the HTC one M8 are just like that. Something they failed to mention before we paid. Now the screen does not work at all.Conclusion: The phone worked fine before they replaced the screen, then after it breaks they say its the screens fault... Which they put in.

Absolutely amazing service! Had my iPhone 5 and IPad in crystal clear shape in less than an hour, even when the store was jam packed and without scheduling an appointment in advance. I would highly recommend coming here vs shipping your phone out and wasting time with insurance companies that may lose your phone. Its a rip off! I paid 160 bucks for a new phone screen. My phone had worked okay before i got it fixed i just didnt like having it cracked. Not even 20 days later, my phone is shattered again. WITH a case on it. Not to mention, the screen they replaced it with was cheap! it went over my screen and was the most poor quality.

So my iPhone sleep wake button crapped out on me and I was pretty much screwed because when the battery died the only way i could turn it on was by plugging it into a power source. Mad fking annoying. Found these guys in Yelp (perfect score) and they had awesome prices. They were like 10 minutes away from my house and fixed my phone up better than new. Sleep wake button works perfect and now. I even changed out my cracked screen just because. I hope I never need to go back there but I wouldnt hesitate if I did.

This place charges only $20 less then taking your phone to Apple. Absolute rip off !!! Stay away !!!Let me narrate my whole story. My MOTO X wouldnt stay on. So I called him before going to his place, and confirmed his availability.1. It is not a repair center. It is a one man place, of 6 by 6 size, in some corner of a small pawn shop.2. In less than 2 seconds after I handed over the phone, he said it is an LCD issue and it would cost more to fix. I showed him the beautiful graphics that shows up on starting. It just shuts down after that. So it cannot be the LCD. He as taken aback.3. Then he said it would be a battery issue, and it would cost money to diagnose it. I agreed. He tried opening it, but couldnt. The MOTO X has a wire connected to the back of the phone. He then said he has a lot of other phones to attend to, and he cannot get to it today. I told him about the phone call confirmation. He was visibly upset.4. Meanwhile he got a phone call. Should have been another customer. He asked him what phone is it and what is the problem. Then he said, let me check how much does the part cost. hold on. He kept the phone in mute for 30 seconds (without checking anything) and later said it would cost about $120 for the parts and services.5. Then he got to my phone. He kept trying for a few minutes by still couldnt figure out how to open it. Then he asked me, if he should continue even if it damages the phone. WTF !!! I walked out.Stay away from the scam artist .

I accidently spilled some water on my iPhone 4s this weekend, and the screen went dead. I called Fixmyphone up, I spoke with Mr. Zeb who said he couldnt guarantee that he could fix it (because of the water damage), but agreed to look at it. I brought it in (the phone still worked - just couldnt see the display). The store was conveniently located in the shopping center across from Lakeforest mall (near Rickys Rice bowl, Chuck E. Cheese, and Bed,Bath, and Beyond). Mr. Zeb was very upfront with the prices, and said it would be ready in 2-3 hours. To my surprise, he called me at home less than 90 minutes later! They replaced the screen and now my phone works great again! He even checked to make sure my camera still worked, and all my pictures were on the phone! I paid a reasonable charge for them to look at the phone plus the cost of the screen. This was well worth it - since I was thinking that I would have to find another iPhone replacement.They just started at that location, and the store still needs to be furnished, but I was very happy with the quality of work - and the service provided. I would definitely recommend their store to anyone who needs their cell phone fixed.

I had a big problem with my iPhone 4S where somehow the headphone jack got damaged. Trying to fix that myself after reading the how-tos online, and watching the Youtube videos made the problem worse. I took it to the Apple store to see if they could fix it or change it, but they simply said water damage was not covered, as they somehow saw moisture there! They offered me to buy the new iPhone 5 and junk this one. I came to know of FixMyPhone through a friend of mine and went there to check it out. The guys there were very upfront, understood the problem, and knew what to do there. They replaced the headphone jack within a couple of hours, it was as good as the original. They even said if anything went wrong with what they did, I should just bring it back and they would take look. It has been a month and everything has worked just fine. I wanted to make sure nothing went wrong with their work before I left a review for them. Amazing bunch of guys there who are running an honest business and not out there to scam you. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to get their phone repaired. A+++

Avoid this store!! I took my ipad air there to be repaired only to get it back in slightly better unworking condition. When I took it home thehome button didnt work, it hung or would not reset but got stuck under the glass.Fix my phone was nice enough to take it back for another install, but what I found was the glass was still getting stuck. After closer inspection after the install I found that there was a crack under the glass where the existing damage had been. Fix My Phone said that the 30 day warranty was void due to new damage to the ipad and agreed to give me a discount. The price of the discount would have me pay about the same price as other dealers.I will not spend anymore of my money at this store.In addition while waiting patiently about an hour on my third vistit to the store another woman was having her phone fixed as well. Before she received it she did a test call and was unable to hear the distant end. Fix My Phone kept her there for an hour while attempting to fix her phone.So..... The employees there are very ineffective; while professional they lack the skills to fix phones or ipads.While screens cost $40 for the parts.. Fix My Phone charges a $100.00 upcharge making the total 140.00. 150 after tax.

I had recently done a review and I explained how bad of a experience I had before but after I did that Basheer gave me a call to apologize and offered to buy me a new iPad since it was having problems since they touched it last. I got my new iPad now and I couldnt be happier. Fix my phone has inexperienced technicians. Within two days my screen was cracked again.. I did not drop or miss handle phone. There was no warranty. Charged the same price to repair what looks to be an installation problem. Come on $200 to fix phone. Repair took more than a day. Two days later phone was broke again.

Do not come here they will tell you one thing over the phone and then whenever you get here they will try to charge you and then not fix it and like its part here on time
