Ive been going to this gym for the past three years and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. My experience has only gotten better as of recently due to a nice young employee who goes by the name of Harrison Brown. Give him a raise!

It is a decent gym with good amount space. The negatives are they charge too much for the gym not to have the classroom and the other sunna room broken. They havent been fix for MONTHS and keep saying they working on it. Also they close way to early at 9 o’clock pm during the week.

Love being able to workout and get a complete workout with all the equipment elevation has to offer.The front desk person Salissa is one of the nicest people I have encountered at the front desk. It is nice to be able to walk into a smiling face every day. Jake who works in the front is also very educated in lifting and proper techniques. I feel anyone that visits will have a positive experience and enjoy themselves.

Didnt renew membership, or come for the last six months of it. Save your money, planet fitness is honestly much nicer and cleaner. Wouldnt be surprised if they are out of business this time next year.

We were staying in Gainesville for a small mountain trip and we normally find a gym to train at while on our trips. We decided to visit Elevation Fitness to see if they had the proper equipment for my training, since I am a powerlifter. The lady at the desk would not let us walk past the front counter to look at the gym. We could only gaze from a distance. I understand if this is a rule however she could have offered a chaperoned walkthrough or a summary of available equipment. But she was very to quick to stop us so we felt uninvited and I would not pay for a day pass if the gym wouldn’t work for us. Very unprofessional, as we are gym owners ourselves in our hometown.

The customer service is horrible and the saunas are always out of order there is never any child care for parents that have to go to the gym. Save your $50 subscription and go to a more professional gym

The gym used to be a okay gym, but over the past two years it has gotten gradually worse. You can join any other gym and get what you get out of this place for a fraction of the cost. The steam room is always “out of order” but is never getting fixed. The pool is constantly out of order or broken. The aerobic room has been closed for over a year and is no closer to being fixed from the day it was closed. The sauna doesn’t even get hot anymore. All of these problems and you are still charged like you are able to use them.

Don’t get me wrong, I love this gym. Lots of equipment, UP TO DATE equipment. But I feel like they haven’t done enough to make sure guests are coming to a clean environment. Employees tend to eat around the front desk. Seems to be the “hangout” spot. Employees are seen sometimes wearing a mask, I’ve seen one ever wear it on his head! 🤣 I’ve also heard from a former employee that 3 people have tested positive for COVID and they haven’t reported it because they don’t want the gym to shut down. A few of my friends have stopped going because of this. Not sure if it’s true but I believe it’s why they’ve started ‘wearing’ masks. Guests are ‘supposed to’ clean their equipment when they’re done, don’t find too many doing that. The most I’ve seen done is maybe someone vacuuming? Be careful in there corners that’s where lots of dust and hair tends to collect. Just wish they were more serious about keeping the gym clean and keeping themselves protected.

I was scouting out gyms and really thought about going here. But the entryway is so dark. Im not the only one that feels this way. Once you get inside it brightens up. Why is the entryway so dark? That first impression is so important. I think they should put some lights in there. You cant even read the menu for the juice bar its so dark. One of my friends didnt even know there was a juice bar! Add some light guys!

The pool heater has been broken for months and the steam room too.

I love Elevation. For the price its awesome. Great First Responder discount too. Pool, hot tub, sauna, tanning and a plethora of weights and machines.

This gym is amazing! It just needs better tanning beds because they barely even give you a tan and planet fitness has top of the line beds for $20 a month and its $600 for a year membership. Please upgrade your beds!

Had a good workout

I absolutely would NOT recommend anyone going to this gym. I had the front desk hold my $2000.00 TAG watch that I wore by mistake. Assuming the front desk wouldn’t steal from me and after my workout I went to collect my item and low and behold it’s gone. Of course it was on video. When my lawyer called to get the video suddenly the film had vanished. The gym did not try to make this right by anyway. The lockers do not have locks and things have been stolen from the locker room prior.This Gym is also dirty, poorly managed. Customers don’t wipe down equipment. Beware!!!

Elevation is a big, well equipped gym. There are generally lots of options for machines or equipment even when its busy. My wife and I also work with a trainer, Nick Short, who never fails to put together a challenging workout and who is a master motivator. Youll find yourself doing reps you didnt know were possible. This gym, the staff, and Nick are all top notch.

If you are a real fitness enthusiast or have been unimpressed with other gyms like Planet Fitness, then you will love Elevation Fitness! It is a very beautiful facility with plenty of equipment and offerings. A membership includes access to classes, tanning, indoor pool, sauna, and a crossfit style free weight area. The ONLY small downside is that they are not open 24/7. 🙁

Staff is always smiling, always helpful and always there when you need them. Havent had a single bad experience here. Even the patrons seem happy and outgoing. Its a really good place to be.

Great gym, Military/First Responder Rate for active members. Come check it out. Pool, Sauna, and Steam room are very coolAdditions.

Its a clean gym, wipes available for cleaning the equipment. Lots of machines. Front counter is friendly. The only improvement needed is letter stating no nudity, the old timers tend to walk 100% naked in the mens restroom, which can cause blindness. 😷

I have lost 50lbs in 6months. I love this place. The staff really made it possible for my weight loss.

Wow!! I called on a Sunday, spoke with David who was extremely nice and informative. My family and I schedule a tour that same very day and really was impressed with the amount of equipment and amenities they offered. A plus for me was the towel service. David extended a one week pass to me and my nephews family which was awesome! Tuesday morning upon entering I asked for 2 towels. After looking at the towels they were filthy with all kind of makeup and other discussing marks. I mean to the point that I didn’t even consider using them to stand on let alone sit on them and using them was COMPLETELY OUT OF THE QUESTION. After I attended the Sprint cycle class, I went to the sauna. I sat near the heater and noticed a drywall screw protruding out (wth). I mean David was adamant about filling out a disclaimer while on the tour but clearly a liability is just waiting in the sauna. Their isn’t a clock to keep track of your time while utilizing the area then I noticed a SMALL digital clock on the other side of the area.their was no one who new how to operate the whirlpool etc.. Ok, on my way out I went to the front desk where I met a rude heavyset white guy with black hair, who once I ask for the manager or David. He replied “ I’m a manager “ I unfolded the towels and showed them to him and said would you use these towels?” He said Yeah sure would there’s nothing wrong with them. Once I pointed out the obvious dirt and filth. He then said yeah our washers are old and they leave rust on the towels. Huh!!!!!!! Clearly Stevie Wonder could see that was not rust.

This place is got all the equipment that you need swimming pool sauna steam room hot tub and showers good place to relax after a good workout

Love this gym, Staff is friendly, happy, knowledgeable and ever-present. Even the patrons are very happy and outgoing, no lunkheads. Would reccomend to anyone.

Alot better gyms and alot cleaner gyms too management even said they wasnt aware it was so bad but for the money stuff needs replaced stuff stays broke there not strict about wiping off the machines you can get everything they have here at other better priced places Dont Join This Gym

Good variety of equipment but music selection (rap) not good due to inappropriate language. Wifi is weak in locker room and back half of gym. Otherwise it is best gym Ive been to in Gainesville, Georgia.
