Let me start by saying Justin, the instructor, was phenomenal. He started by showing us how to make a pendant. It took him 30 min and he was having a good time with us. After that we made our own pendants. It was a good way to learn a bunch of different techniques involved with making a slew of other things. He wanted us to do as much as we could on our own but he was never far if we needed help. I took my wife here for her birthday and she had a blast. There is no doubt we will be coming back. Next time Ill be more prepared with ideas of things to make. Did I mention whatever you make you get to keep, no additional charge. This place rocks! Flame on!🔥🔥

I went inside an the sales guy states they can only take cash at the moment due to internet being down and I stated thats fine I am just browsing. After a few mins of browsing he states he has to fix the internet an asks me to leave. Very poor mangement an buisness skills. I was about to inquire about a couple items but I will take my buisness else where...

If youve checked out other tobacco shops in Gainesville, walking into this one will really impress. In my experience, the other shops in town really give off a grungy feel. This shop is elegantly put together with a huge glass viewing window of the glass blowing studio. The pieces are set up gallery style around the shop which really give it an elegant and artsy touch. With all this said, the pieces are better in quality and in price to other shops Ive been to. The quality will be apparent when you handle them yourselves. They also have glassblowing professionals teach classes to the general public. The staff here is very welcoming and knowledgeable. I have nothing but positive things to say. Won’t be back to this store. My first time ATTEMPTING to become a customer at this store was today. When I walked up the sign the first door said to go to the middle, went to the middle and there was a sign that said if the door was locked to ring the door bell for assistance because they are blowing glass. I was about to walk off and then one of the guys working came and let me in. I walked in and was about to look around and two sec later he sent the other young man to the back where they were blowing glass and proceeded to ask me “what I need”. I told him I was just looking around until I decide what I wanted to buy. He then proceeded to tell me that he didn’t have time to help me because he’s blowing glass. A little taken back, I asked him was he asking me to leave and he said “yeah, that’s why the door was locked”. I am a really understanding person and would’ve understood if he was a little more professional and a little nicer, even though there were two of them. Will not be back and won’t be recommending to anyone either.

This review may be more for management but I know you have other customers that feel the same way and that’s why I’m posting here.First of all let’s talk about your hours of operation. Opening at 10:30 makes sense because your target clientele isn’t known to be early risers, but closing at 7 or 8 makes no sense. The best time of day for most people to come here is on their way home from work and myself and many others are lucky to leave work before 7pm. I’m not sure if these hours are because of the pandemic, but you may want to re-evaluate now that students are back and the state is at phase 3.Evening customer service is the other issue here. The young man working on my last few visits did not seem interested in working. One time he was in an employee only area and seemed completely inconvenienced to have to wait on a customer. The other time he was in the shop but far more interested in his phone than selling any products.I continue to come here for only one reason, on my very first visit I met one of the owners and he shared his vision with me. Due to that visit and my belief in supporting local businesses and artists I keep coming. I am sure you have other customers who stay loyal for similar reasons but you are losing business and I don’t want to see this place fail so step it up.

This shop was awesome! From the customer service to the product selection, this place has it all - glass, bags, apparel, dab gear, candles...They even have free raffles to enter if you leave a review! We walked in with a solid price range and Justin took his time to show us all the pieces in the shop in our budget. We left with more than we had planned and came in well under budget. We picked up an awesome UV glass piece and a neat NES controller wax case. Definitely a must-see glass gallery for anyone from the novice smoker to Tommy Chong. Ill be shopping here in the future because this shop had all the good vibes.

This is a nice shop, with friendly customer service. But the star of the show is the glass. Hand made pieces of high caliber that are simply beautiful to look at.

I found this review because I googled you this morning to see if you were even still in business because my niece is wanting to learn how to blow glass. I am assuming the glass blowing studio is the only reason you are even still in business.

Lol I went in to buy some puff bars. Called the owner out on his counter fit products.. Told him I would still buy them even though they are fake.. proceeds to kick me out of store for attitude.. ok glass factory....(I was helped by the man that hasnt missed a meal in 47 years)

They where very knowledgeable about all their pieces and a very relaxed atmosphere. Also cant forget to mention their smoke shop mascots. Two of the coolest dogs iv seen in awhile. Came during operating hours. Open signs are on. Dude is inside, sees and just decides hed rather not have my business and doesnt open the door.Sucks because the slimmer guy is super awesome and kind, but the older heavier guy....ugh. Im done with this place.

I wish I could give a five star review because I love this place. Only shop like this around because of how well these guys do what they do. Unfortunately due to my work life I’m only able to get by on the weekends.I have come when the open sign is on, but no one seems to be there. I have come when the internet says you’re open and everything is locked down. Please please please get a better weekend opener. I come roughly 30mins away up to 45mins when traffic is bad so coming multiple times not knowing if you’re going to be open is a major pain. This is my favorite place for my needs so don’t want to give someone else the business, but something has got to give.

The Glass Factory is a place where you want to be a regular because Eric and Justin treat their regulars like family. I go there to take care of my back pain needs. The kratom and cbc selection and prices are the best Ive seen out from everywhere in Gainesville today I also noticed how great prices on vape juice as well. They have art pieces, paintings and theres a window in the store where you can watch their glass blowing sessions which Im dying to try! Even if you are an amateur at glass blowing and take a class youll get to walk away with your own piece of handmade jewelry or art piece with a beautiful new experience and memory attached to it. One of the best shops in Gainesville, only real competition is the Swamp City Gallery. This shop has glass blowing classes offered on site, gallery quality pieces on display & available for purchase. Pieces can be found in just about any price range. If youre just coming in for a quick fix on CBD, rolling papers or other such goods you wont be disappointed either. Best of all place is handled by very knowledgeable down to earth locals and the customer service is second to none.
