Contacted the manager Adam at the end of April regarding a shower that I was replacing. I told him the sizes and said that I wanted a rough Idea of how much one glass panel and one glass door would cost. He gave me the estimate which I found acceptable and I proceeded to replace the shower. For the past several weeks I have been trying to get in touch with him to no avail. I have called the office, and left messages on his cell. He responded to my text saying that he would get in touch with me tomorrow.Zero on the customer service scale. If for some reason they cant work with someone they should at least have the decency to let them know.

Went the extra mile for us to find a supplier of hard-to-find 3/16 beveled glass for a end-table. Excellent service. I recommend them.

Called in with a problem of a sliding glass door being difficult to open. They came out and installed a cover over the bottom track. It was better, but still required significant effort and both hands for a child to open. Total cost $230. Called again 7 months later since it was getting worse. Paid a $100 charge for them to clean it, no real improvement. 6 months later we break the handle because of the force necessary to open and close the door. I take the door off the track and discover the original rollers are still there and the bearings are completely shot. Replaced them myself for $25. Not sure why they didnt replace them at either visit but this is what was needed to fix problem. Can now use one finger to open the door.

I usually dont take the time to write a review whether it was a good or bad experience which is something I need to work on as I think it is an important thing to do.A few months ago I posted on Gainesville Business Word of Mouth asking for recommendations on a company that repaired sliding glass door rollers as my Moms doors were getting really hard to open and close. Someone had recommended Sheas Glass Company and I wanted to thank them for that.I emailed Sheas the Sunday after I got the recommendation and on Monday got an email back from Ruby letting me know about scheduling an appointment. Well things came up and I did not get back with them till the beginning of January. I talked to Ruby and she set up an appointment for the same week I called for someone to come out and give me an estimate. She was very nice, professional and courteous which I greatly appreciated. I got a call the day of the appointment to say that they were running early and would it be alright to come on out. Wow someone running early for a change was such a nice prospect for me. Adam and Drew were the two installers they sent out for the estimate. After talking with them for awhile I was impressed on how they really knew what they were talking about and how much they said they enjoyed working for Sheas. I showed them the items that needed attention and they took down notes. There were some double pane windows that had frosted over and I asked them to get me an estimate on replacing the glass on those. They got the measurements done and headed back to the office. By the end of the day I had an estimate emailed to me by Naomi which was detailed and clearly stated the payment arrangements and time needed to order materials. I was going to mail them a check for the deposit but had to run some errands in Gainesville the next day so decided to drop in and see the office and bring the check in person. They were so welcoming and nice in there. It really is a great experience to find people that enjoy what they are doing. With the deposit paid I knew it could be a over a month for all the materials to come in as they were special orders and then an installation appointment would be set up. Well I got a call last week to let me know everything came in early and asked me if Thursday and Friday would work on our end as it would most likely be a 2 day job. Well they finished today and I can not stress enough what an AWESOME Job they did. They were so nice to my Mom and now at age 86 she can easily open and close her sliding glass doors with ease. The glass that was replaced in the windows has given her a whole new view of her garden and outdoor areas. I wanted to thank everyone involved in this transaction for a job well done. I now this is a long post but I wanted everyone to know that reads this how highly I recommend this company.

I was referred to Sheas Glass from a friend when I had a broken window. I took the window in on my lunch break and they gave me a great estimate within minutes! Everyone in the office was super friendly and helpful. They replaced the glass on my window in less than 24 hours. Highly recommend! :)

If you want a bad job done expensively go no further. A month ago I contacted them to replace the rollers on my sliding glass door. The first time they came they only had one roller on the truck so they would have to come back with two. I said I wanted the best rollers you could buy and I was told two weeks. Today, a month after the first phone call, they put in two standard rollers and the door is no better than it was. I had a doctors appointment so my wife was the only one there, I wanted the old rollers and an itemized bill which I didn’t get. Next time I’ll hire one of the homeless people on university avenue at least I know they will try for $355.

They were polite and fast but absurd for the cost. I know I should have asked, but I wouldnt have thought that labor for less than 30 minutes would be $100. I could have gotten a brand new window for that cost and all I had replaced was one small square. They should tell people that when they call, they also didnt ask me any details about to broken window so when the text called I gave them more information and they knew they had to go back to the office first before coming to my house. However they were very quick to respond.

I cant give enough stars for the courtesy and help I received from Sheas Glass. Ed went over and above what I even asked.I had a plexiglass tray that needed special cuts to mount on my wheelchair. He not only made the cuts but also adjusted the tray to better operate independently.If you want special attention to details, go to Sheas.

Ive used them three times and all have been great. Especially the last one. Called in on the way to lunch and they had someone at my house by the time we got back to lunch. Steve, the technician was great. He came in and cut the new glass and had it in less than 20 minutes. Great price and service.

Was a little worried that my request for some glass shelves for my new built-in wall bookshelf would be too small of a request. I walked in and they treated me like I was their best customer. They showed me some sample thicknesses and different types of glass. Exceptional! They even provided me with proper weight loads for the different thicknesses. The shelves were ready a few days later and were well packaged when I picked them up. The look and fit great! Would definitely buy again!

Just had yet another great experience with Shea’s Glass. Had a on door with a broken pane of glass. Took it to Shea’s Glass and they repaired on the SAME DAY for $28! I expected it to be much more. So happy. They’ve also done some mirrors for us, as well. Always impressed!

Friendly staff and good service. I had a broken framed mirror and they did a replacement of the mirror. They suggested to siliconize it so that it wouldnt get loose. I can now have my mirror looking good and sturdy. Thanks!

These people dont know who I am or a thing about me. I randomly ordered some pieces of glass for a project Im working on, and they have catered to me like I was famous. I will definitely be calling them again if I need any more glass. These negative reviews are throwing off. I guess some people just look for reasons to complain.

I called to ask them how to remove a window sash so that I could pull it out to replace the window glass. Ed took the time to speak to me and review pictures that I texted. I was able to remove the sash with his advice. I brought the window in to repair, and the window was fixed within an hour with the proper matching glass. They charged me $58.58 total to repair the glass.

I needed to replace our roommates coffee table glass top. They did a great job at replicating the glass we needed and were friendly as well!

Told me the they didn’t have the special tools to take my glass out of the frame. 10 minutes with a utility knife I had it out. Got it back the next morning and whatever they glued it in with still hadn’t dried 4 hours later

Awesome customer service. Ive called at least 20 guys to come look at a leaky window and theyre the first company to actually show up. They looked at the window and figured out it was actually a roof thing so they didnt even charge me any fees. Ill be sure to use this company for all my glass needs in the future.
