Im so grateful to Stacey Darago at Still Waters Counseling Center for everything she has done to help me understand myself and my thought process better. Not only does she help me know how I am but she gives me a peek behind my own curtain to my own life and how I can understand it better. She does such an amazing job and I completely recommend her to anyone who needs a listening ear and a helpful hand!

I love that Stacey provides not just a professional, but also Christian perspective to dealing with stresses of life. Her approach to understanding the personal aspects of individual personalilities and using real life experiences in combination with her knowledge of counseling with Scripture is why I have recommended her to others. This center is not equipped for those that are diagnosed with any mental illnesses, such as Bipolar disease. If you have a mental health concern, please GO SOMEWHERE ELSE because they will not know how to respond and will not help! If you have a need, get in touch with a clinical psychologist and know you did the right thing. I had a loved one in crisis and they did nothing but allow it to happen. Although, it was clear my loved one was in complete crisis and the center saw my loved one....the therapist did nothing. She allowed my loved one to go to jail and now my loved one is in a mental facility. Thank you, Still Waters Counseling Center. (For a year of nonsense) Just wow. This staff is not responsive- or responsible. Please save yourself and save yourself the time and trouble.

I have been seeing Stacey for over 2 years now at Still Waters. God definitely put her in my life and she has been such a blessing. She has helped me through relationships, severe anxiety, the every day stresses of life, and now my husband enjoys going with me as we went to her for pre-marital counseling.(Just celebrated our 1 year anniversary) I highly recommend Stacey Darago. Shes tough on me when I need it and she warned me from the beginning, sometimes I will leave counseling feeling relaxed, sometimes I’ll feel exhausted, and sometimes I’ll leave with homework like specific books to read, etc. She knew exactly what I needed! And she always refers to scripture when it calls for it. Love her!

Stacey Durango has been heaven sent for me. She has always been helpful in assisting me with stress and provide coping methods. Shes always been able to help me with all my problems. I cant imagine going anywhere else.

I have been seeing Mrs Darago for several years now, and what a blessing she has been! I have bipolar, anxiety, PTSD, and a complicated history of abuse (and a number of other things). She is the first therapist I have ever been to that has actually helped me in any way. Weve made so much progress that I never thought Id be able to do. Her office always has soothing aroma therapy oils going and the lighting is not harsh, so it is a very soothing atmosphere. The office is always very accommodating, and goes out of their way to help. I would recommend her, and this office, to anyone!

I believe Still Waters Counseling Center along with my therapist Stacey Darago has worked with me to have a better understanding of my mental health overall. Recently having gone through a nasty divorce, I needed someone outside my situation to help me face the emotional rollercoaster that has become my life. While there have been misunderstandings among my family and friends who were trying to help me, Stacey did not react as expected but this was a unique circumstance caused by a prescribed drug and severe lack of sleep. No one could have predicted the outcome at that time. I am thankful that Stacey knows my history and understands my triggers and gives me the space to cry, vent, and/or laugh (which I greatly appreciate). I agree that no one is perfect but we must all move forward by keeping the past in the past then working hard to make tomorrow a better day.

I was in a paralyzing state when I met Stacey.Needless to say I’m functioning well and I would refer anyone to give Still waters a shot.I have a lot of faith installed with Stacey, she is a great counselor.
