Elizabeth is great to work with. She’s empathetic and understanding. She’s helped me talk through the stress factors in my life and has helped me brainstorm action items for things within my control, while confirming it’s okay to rest and slow down to enjoy life. She is not judgmental and she is encouraging and I appreciate her prayerful approach to healing.

I’ve tried therapy before and after a few bad experiences I just assumed it wasn’t for me. I had a hard time connecting to my therapist. But then I found George! George is incredibly kind. I began counseling sessions with Elizabeth Evans about a month ago and speak with her once a week. In our sessions she begins and ends by praying, which I love, and she has a very warm personality. The knowledge she has helps me learn about myself and how to conquer my own personal demons. She has a plethora of resources that she is generous with to help me navigate the Avenues of Life, such as co-dependency and how that has negatively impacted my success and happiness. She’s lighthearted and funny, yet serious about my progress and listens well without judgement. I highly recommend her for personal and marriage counseling as well. During these stressful times of Covid-19, we’ve conducted our sessions over the phone instead of in person and I can’t tell a difference. She’s wonderful.

Im a young adult who recently got out of a mental hospital due to medicine changes for Bipolar type 1. Ive been going to counseling since mid January of 2020. Ive tried counseling before and it never seemed to help until I met George. Went to see Mrs. Evans regarding a behavioral/addiction issue. I just googled behavioral counseling and found her website . I was looking for a counselor that was Christian and would have that approach. Mrs Evans fit the bill perfectly. I have only just started but I am very encouraged by the start we have gotten off to. I started going to see Elizabeth at Avenues of life Counciling almost a year ago. I was a hot mess and I didn’t know if I’d make it or even wanted to. Life’s circumstances had pushed me in the hole of despair and I couldn’t get out.I had isolated and Elizabeth pushed me to dig deep and helped me figure out the root causes of my issues. She put the ladder of hope in that hole and coached me one rung at a time until I started to see light and hope and then finally got out. She showed the love, truth and compassion of Jesus with no judgement. I would not have my life today had I not found Elizabeth and Avenues of life. Not every councelor is the same, I had seen many with no results. I found the very best and got my life back. God wants us all to have an abundant life. I have been seeing Jill foster for over a year now. She has helped my family tremendously. My son has behavioral issues at school and at home causing Communication to break down between us. I was at my witts end with him. Seeking out Jill and getting to know her she really did care to help my family turn things around. At this point in My son and I relationship I was just angry. She help me see how to understand him and find compassion to understand that it’s not his fault. To change our realationship was to change my approach to him.
