Update 4/20/2021. Got in and out in one day for a DEF header issue. They were willing to order the parts ahead of time and got me in first thing. They were willing to work with my extended service plan, which can be a PITA. Great people to work with. Very personable and cooperative. They are busy probably because of their great attitude and professional competence.Earlier review: These guys knocked out my recall work in no time at at my site. I didnt even know that the work could be done with travel until Barry told me. Saved me a lot of time and trouble. They showed up, did the work in about 2 hours, checked everything out and sent me a receipt via email. Could not have been easier. They might be a little hard to get in touch with but it is probably because they spend the time necessary to communicate with the customers they are currently servicing. At least that has been my experience.
Took them a while to find my job ticket but otherwise nice shop, friendly staff for the most part.
This place is a total scam - took our MB Sprinter Van there due to the generator not working. Left it there for a week - NEVER had anyone call us, give us an estimate, tell us what the issue was - NOTHING! Had to call repeatedly to even find out if it was repaired and when we could pick it up. My husband went on his lunch break to pick up and was then told that the only person in the entire place that could check him out, was on the phone. He had to wait more than 30 minutes for “Don” to finish his phone call and check him out. They charged us $725.00 for ???? When my husband was able to try the generator- NOTHING had been done!! Exact same issue!! And this company is the manufacturer of this generator!! Took the van back first thing the next morning (we tried calling - NO ONE ever answered) - told them that absolutely nothing had changed with the generator-we had paid $725 for nothing! DON went in the van - flipped some switches - then says “well sorry but the (one and only) person that works on these is on another call and I’m not pulling him off of that job - you can leave the van and if he “HAPPENS” to finish early “MAYBE” he can take a look at it - otherwise I can give you a refund” . This was Friday morning at 8:30 am - we were leaving on a two-week cross-country trip on Sunday morning. DON called at 3pm Friday afternoon to inform us “yeah...it’s not gonna happen. The tech didn’t finish early - I’m just gonna process your credit, you can come pick the van up”. My husband got the van - brought it home and decided to check and see exactly what work had been done to the generator when it was at this shop for an entire week - guess what he found??? The generator had not even been touched!! The panel had not been removed - NOTHING!!! A COMPLETE AND TOTAL SCAM!! BUYER BEWARE!!! They were going to charge us $725.00 for our van sitting in their lot for over a week!! Needless to say, we will be filing an official complaint with the authorities.
Good parts folks.
I had a great experience with Andrew and Kevin. They worked with me to determine a problem I was having with my RV and offered some great advice. Thanks, guys!
I cannot say enough good things about this place. This has been hands down the best experience I ever had! My generator kept cutting off on my new toy hauler and the generator tech Paul fixed an issue that two other dealers couldnt fix. They even let me plug my toy hauler in for the night while they were diagnosing it. Honest good mechanics! Thank you Paul for all your hard work! Thank you Cummins for treating customers so well.
Guys got me in and out no problem very fast and friendly service
Great company, they really know good customer service and provide it.
Great place very helpful
Over-priced for what they offer. Was charged an hour and a half for them to do diagnose something I had already diagnosed... they charge 158/hr. I’m a PE (professional engineer) and I don’t even charge that much.I would recommend looking elsewhere or finding a smaller shop. These guys will gouge you. You’ve been warned.
I called Don about service on my 2002 Country Coach / Onan 7500 Quiet Diesel service.. he was quick to give me all the info needed, transferred me to Barry Spencer (Service Manager) in Cummins Engine Service Dept.I was given an estimate over the phone for the service of my ISL-370HP engine and I set-up an appointment for the day after. They were prompt, professional and friendly. I know this is not the RV shop they own in Atlanta.. BUT it was closer to my location, Easy to get in and out of (Im 70ft. rolling with car hauler) The COMPLETE service was done within one day and came in approximately 40% LESS than quoted!!!I will always come back to these guys.. GREAT SERVICE! GREAT TEAM! FAIR PRICE! .. 5 stars! Thanks again Don and Barry!Ed Mulvaney
The Onan 4000 generator on our camper wouldn’t run for the longest time. We dropped the camper off and Don (the generator specialist) had it running and ready to go the next morning for us. It could not have been an easier or more pleasant experience. The price for the repair was more than fair.
Don (Service Manager) and the team @ Cummins of Gainesville Ga are AWESOME. Our RV Gen was having issues, Don was able to resolve our problem and get us back on the road. Highly recommend this place.
Barry and crew get myles trucking trucks in and out as fast as possible.
I called on the off chance that these guys could squeeze us in because we had been having a loud vibrating type noise coming from the side radiator area of our 2012 Allegro Bus.Well this was just after Christmas and we were ready to head back to Blacksburg, VA (or we could stay if needed). So I spoke with Bob and he explained that a lot of people are on vacation and they are booked up for a couple of weeks, but bring it in anyway and they will have someone take a look at it.Sure enough when we got there, a nice young man, Tyler, came out and listened to the noise, opened the engine area, looked carefully around and I believe came up with the correct conclusion. That being, when the engine idles at a certain level, it vibrates the radiator cover. What has probably happened over time is the rubber washers between the coach and the radiator cover have deteriorated and we now have metal to metal contact which makes the awful sound. We were grateful for the time Tyler took to help us and since it wasnt a major issue we did not stay in Atlanta for an extra 2 weeks. Besides it was cold and rainy, what the heck! It seems like its always hot on The Walking Dead.
Had motor home diesel generator major repair. Good price for all the work.
Good people, good service.
Kind of slow getting my quote back.
If a business tells me they are busy and will call me back I expect a returned call. I called Barry in the service department and was told he would call me back to schedule a repair. Still waiting!
Its Cummins nuff said
Good service
Took my generator in and they found the problem, repaired it and I picked it up the next day. Great service!
