They performed the services promptly, even though we are in the holiday season, and they went above and beyond to make sure my condo was Genie Clean. I was a loyal cleanings genie customer for over two years. I had weekly cleaning performed by a team of three, which was reduced over time to two people (this was done gradually but I did not see any reduction in price or increase in time, nor was I informed this would happen). During the period I utilized the service, the quality of the service declined significantly and Charlotte raised the rates multiple times while cutting the amount of time the cleaners could clean in my apartment. Over time I was paying more and my apartment cleaning became bare bones - just bathrooms, kitchen, floors. The service was almost never on time, the attention to detail suffered, and the workers often came in saying they had less time to clean this week for a variety of excuses, all coming from Charlotte.I am not one to give out bad reviews (this is my first) and I never leave an invoice unpaid, however after a particularly bad cleaning service (even kitchen was not done, surfaces were not cleaned or tidied, the place did not look like a cleaning service had been through) I told Charlotte I would not pay for that session because it was unacceptable. Charlotte responded by reducing the invoice by only 10%. I have since contacted her multiple times to adjust her invoice to no avail. I subsequently canceled the service.For a loyal customer of over two years this has been an extremely disappointing end to what was a productive business relationship. Charlotte is now attempting to charge me multiple late fees for the disputed invoice until I pay. Her late fees are not pursuant to any contract between us and the fees would be illegal under Florida state law regardless due to their egregious size. I will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau.In summary, this used to be a worthwhile service, however you can get better cleaning at a better price elsewhere with less of a headache. I do not recommend the service based on my experience.

I was very excited to use this service due to its good ratings and cleaning/carpet services.I can say that basically everything went wrong from scheduling issues, no quotes, trying to overcharge (sending incorrect invoices),and trying to have us pay before the job was completed.I will say on my end that I was not as prepared as I should have been at move-out time. I had 2 cabinets with food and a the living room had two piles of donation boxes and garbage which had to be removed with a truck we were waiting for. If the original scheduling miscommunication wouldnt have happened there would have been more than enough time to get everything done when the job needed to completed instead of 2 days after I moved out.Charging a total of $640 it was super disappointing.I would not recommend this company or use them again

I called Cleaning Genie as I was moving into a new home that had some remodel work done and so I wanted the dust cleaned before moving in. I advised Charlotte quite a few times via phone/text and then in person on cleaning day about how getting rid of the dust was my main priority. We hadnt even moved in so there was no furniture to worry about. She told me that to quote me she had to go and see the house/condition (fair enough). She showed up WHILE construction was still going on so she knew the state of the home. She quoted me $240. For a 2100 sqft home I thought that was steep but I went with it because it was a week when most cleaning agencies were booked with all students moving in and because of all their positive reviews.Long story short it was a 5 person team with an empty house so they should have been able to clean and focus on the dust as I asked. My first red flag was that the morning of the cleaning Charlotte said she should have instead charged us for a post-construction cleaning and that she had to go get a commercial mop but meanwhile as I mentioned she came 2 days before to check out the home and give us a quote while the kitchen cabinets were still going up so she knew what she was working with and I told her at least 5 times that the dust from the remodel was my priority. Then when I came to check on them 2 hours later (she told me it would take 2 hours), I saw the floors were still dusty so I reiterated that I wanted them to focus on the dust. Half the team left and 2 of the 5 remained to finish the job. I went in to use the rest room and saw the floors were wet but there was debris all over the floors. When I asked about it, they said they werent done. I found it weird but I let them finish. When they came to get me to let me know they had finished I still saw debris all over the place so I asked if they had swept or merely passed the mop. They confirmed that they didnt sweep at all and just passed this commercial mop over the dust. I mean CMON thats Cleaning 101...you cant mop over dirty floors...you just create mud and trap the dirt. I was so upset but at this point 5 hours later (they told me it would take 2 hours), I had to go to an appointment and I was just so upset I told them I would finish it myself. I sent Charlotte pictures and to her credit she offered to come back on Monday but the whole point was we wanted the house clean BEFORE moving in and we were moving in over the weekend. My husband was so pissed that we wasted that much money on them, that he didnt even want them to come back. Plus he said that commercial cleaner they used made the house smell like his old high school. Its true...definitely not how you want your new home to smell.Im not sure how they got so many positive reviews...maybe friends and family or maybe they are only good with daily cleanings and not move in or post construction cleanings. Whatever it is, I cannot recommend them and its too bad because I was looking for someone we could hire for regular cleanings. It wont be them.

Cleaning Genie worked their magic!!! They were tasked with a VERY dusty, seemingly rarely cleaned home that had two dogs living in it. The tile grout was BLACK!!!, there was dog hair everywhere, dust galore, and crud gunked up in various places throughout the home. Their thorough cleaning methods, attention to detail, dedicated staff, and commitment to getting the job done provided a HHHHHUUUUGGGEEE sigh of relief, especially with move in day being the day after their services - and that tile grout was restored to its original mauve color!!!
