I called this location and they said come over. So when I walk in the stylist was speaking with who I assumed is a customer. They were speaking in a different language, so I stood there for around 5 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me, then when that didnt happen I sat down for another 5 minutes, and for the entire time I was in the shop nobody even looked in my direction or made any attempt at even the slightest acknowledgement that I even existed on the same planet. I felt absolutely disrespected and will never step foot in that place again. This was my first and only visit to the location and I do believe in the power of first impressions. Did not get a haircut.
Owner is awesome he is the only one I let cut my hair
This place is very unassuming. You might be tempted to dismiss it for appearances, but the ladies know what they are doing.Give it a try, and you will be pleasantly surprised.I got. Shampoo, cut, color, highlights and style . All the services were great. I will be back with more customers.
Always do a great job
Theyre not very diverse... I like stylus who know how to cut all textures of hair.
Very professional and listened to what I wanted done. Talented professionals. Im very picky about my hair but was very pleased with this shop. Ill be back.
The wait time seems to vary and it can be a bit disorganized. I usually have the same stylist do my hair and I would have liked a little more attention to the cutting. The staff is friendly enough. Prices are a little higher than what I have experienced. My last haircut was better and the stylist took her time.
I will give this a negative one star..I went to get my eyebrows done yesterday because my preferred place next door was closed. The facial wax person is not capable at all. She kept asking me what I wanted to be done and how much should she cut. The wax was too cold and she even got some in my HAIR!Ill let the pic speak for themselves. The stylist were ABSOLUTELY rude to my friend who came in there with me. She kept calling maam over and over. I could hear her while I was in the back. The stylist NEVER responded to her. My friend had to go to the bathroom. The place was nasty and unkept. My friend noticed the swelling of my eyelid and hour later. ( as you can see in the picks) bottom line: DONT GO HERE. I will be going there tomorrow for my refund and to so them the damage that has been done to my face!
LeeAnn so professional, does great work on hair, and takes Covid19 precautions. :>)
Excellent highlighter and stylist
The lady cut my companions are exactly the way I asked her too and he looks so cute! Friendly and quick service.
Only went once. Didnt like it.
Just walked in. Monday after a holiday. Roxana (Rukhsana) couldnt have been nicer. She made appropriate suggestions AFTER really listening to my concerns and then followed through. Best color I have ever had and closest to my natural (ahem.. before gray started creeping in) color. Cut feels fresh and trendy. Got in just in time lots of regulars started calling and coming in! All staff treated them warmly yet professionally! will definitely go back.✂👍
Absolutely fantastic service. Staff is very friendly and are highly experienced. Have a much warmer and welcoming atmosphere then the large chain salons.
This concerns my complaint about rapid hair loss over a 4- to 5-week period when I had begun to have weekly shampoos and hair-sets in this shop for the first time. Each time, the beautician blasted my hair with a hot (VERY hot) blow dryer. She used a curling iron, sometimes hotter than I could stand, over my entire head of short hair. When I went to the shop a month ago to complain, I was armed with MD articles off the internet about causes of hair loss in women—including excessively hot and lengthy blow drying, styling with hair curling irons and teasing—but the shop owner wouldn’t look at them or listen to my reasoning. Her responses were: “The internet is full of horror stories.” “You can’t believe what you read on the internet.” “I’ve styled hair for 90-year-old women and they’ve never lost their hair as the result.” “Hair goes through stages, including shedding, and it doesn’t mean anything” etc.”I was trying to say that I believe that contributory factors were too much heat and back-teasing. The alopecia didn’t begin its rapid progression until I began coming in weekly for shampoos and sets. She insisted that she’d never, in all her years, seen styling-induced hair loss that you might read about on the internet. The fact is, my head of hair was doing fine until weekly styling began, starting about 2 months before my complaint. As the owner suggested, I scheduled a consultation with a leading board-certified dermatologist in Gainesville, Dr. Tara Ezell. I explained the situation and here is what she said.“I examined Ms. Barbara Cox’s frontal scalp alopecia per her request. When she asked me about the cause(s), I told her that the patterns of growth suggest that her hair loss is multifactorial in origin, but that a major contributing factor is probably the application of excessive heat during the hair-setting procedure in a beauty salon, which coincided with the progress of the alopecia.I wouldn’t be writing this complaint if the matter had been settled courteously, but the owner and two other women came down on me like harpies, denying that any procedure in the salon could possibly cause hair loss.
Staff is very nice. Loved my new hair color! I liked that this hair salon is somewhat casual, was not so fancy and uptight and snobbish as some are!
I will never go back to this place again. I asked for the most simple hairstyle and the lady could not do it. It took forever and my hair is uneven. I asked her to straighten my hair to make sure it’s even, she brought a brush full of white hair and wanted to use it till I said no worries I don’t want that. The place smells horrible and it was not clean at all.
They know how to cut,,, I mean really know ... How to cut hair!!!
