I have had the worst luck trying to find a reliable barber that can deliver the cut I’m looking for. Every single time I go to make an appointment with Renan, I know I’m getting exactly what I want. His prices are better than most barbers in the Gainesville area, and he makes sure you get what you ask for before you leave. He has even gained the trust of my 5 year old son for his hair cuts. (He is great at working with children as well.)Only barber I will use, and the only place I would recommend.

Ozzie is great! I was looking for a cut after months of growing out my hair mostly because of reluctance to try out a new barber and Ozzie really helped me get the cut I wanted. He asked plenty of questions to make sure the cut was exactly what I came in looking for. He provided great conversation and the shop made me feel at home; will definitely return.

Renan is a joke that told me I had a skin disease and hair would not grow in the spot he chopped with his clippers. Funny that the next day hair was growing in his mistake spot and he refuses to answer calls or give me my money with proof of the hair growing where he said it shouldn’t in the DMs of the business Instagram.

Renan knows what hes doing and you can tell it. Best haircut Ive had in a long time. Its always great to run into a master of their craft and Ray is certainly one. On top of that, Gator Barber is the only place in Gainesville that Ive found that does hot shaves, so thats a huge plus.

I was rushed out the door! (The shop was empty) I had the lady cut my hair. (left long hairs) She cut my hair in less then 10 minutes and did not even show me the back of my head. Total waste of time. I did like the decor of the shop.
