The only place I feel comfortable, since I have no idea about anything about cars. Trust them blindly. Customer service and prices are hard to beat!

I called them if they can check the A/C of my pick up truck without appointment 1 hour b4 get there, said yes, waiting fear time to get my vehicle again with cold and powerful A/C. Charged me some amount and also I asked for some discount, and the did it. Great customer service at office and mechanical shop as well. I was taken care of by the same owner, Tommy, and I had a respectful and very cultured conversation as well.

My daughter had taken her car to Auto ER here in Gainesville and they claimed it would be $1800 to replace the thermostat, thermostat housing and hoses. I knew that was ridiculous so I sought another alternative. Fortunately, a friend highly recommended Tommys so we took the car to them. Tommy took the time to properly assess the car overheating and noticed first that someone had intentionally loosed all of the C clamps on the hoses. Then he replaced the thermostat, thermostat housing, did a coolant flush and an oil change and the problem was solved. And the hoses were just fine and did not need to be replaced, and instead of $1800, it was $260!Equally as important, his daughter who manages the office is just wonderful! From the first phone call through the entire process, she was kind and courteous and just a pleasure to speak to. It is so refreshing to find a mechanic who is honorable and trustworthy and whose prices are so reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend you give them a try. They are just good people!

I only 35 year old Toyota pick up. Tommy was able to get the air conditioning working better than my wife’s 2016 Toyota Camry! He is pretty amazing! very fair pricing

Worst so called diesel mechanic in Gainesville Florida I took my 08F250 there they had my truck for 2 weeks looking it over they called me and told me I needed a water pump I told them to go ahead and do the work paid them a $1000 before anything was even started they called me and told me my truck was done I had a remaining balance of $1700 when I picked my truck up I didnt drive it no more than 10 minutes down the road and had to take it back because it was doing the exact same thing I dropped it off to get fixed then they try to tell me that it could be something else so I spent $2700 for absolutely no results they didnt offer a discount or any type a help I will never take my truck or anything out there a again not even a golf cart

They saved me SOOO much money.I needed a new starter and I would have paid over $1000.00 dollars more if Id gone to Honda.Thanks for being an amazing, Christian establishment. 😊😊😊

I went in knowing what the problem was to find out how much I would be charged it was $217.14 in parts and $414.00 for labor the total was $695.58 with tax($45.51) and supplies($18.93) I get you need to make money but I fixed the issue for $70.00. I would recommend if you have the time just using YouTube and doing it yourself.

After I got robbed at tires plus, I came here and had wonderful experience! They were sympathetic to my situation ( tires plus had charged me $900 for a brake service service that was not necessary and when that didn’t fix the problem they wanted to charge me another $900), and gave me a full free inspection assuring me my newly acquired truck was safe to drive. I’ve been coming back ever since and they are great every time! Very knowledgeable, HONEST and good prices.

While visiting my Moms place we had a front brake caliber lock up. With us being out of town not knowing where to take, I looked up and found Tommy autoworks. They were covered up but agreeded to take a look the first chance they got. Tommy knew exactly the problem. They took great care of us . They truly was a God send . Best mechanic I’ve ever had. I have taken my vehicles there for years and have never had a problem with any repairs they have made. If you want a great honest mechanic with friendly staff, take you vehicle to tommy.

Just went here today & its great the owner is fair the shop is nice & clean very professional Tom is a great mechanic. Family owned business which is great, also the receptionist well shes wayyy more than that shes very nice & is genuine. A great mechanic is a must definitely recommend.

I am writing this review as I feel I got ripped off. They rebuilt a carburetor for me and did not give me a written quote. When I went to pick it up they charged me almost what a brand new carburetor would cost. They charged me $50 for carburetor cleaner and never told me I would have to pay for that. The verbal quote for it was $185 for labor and the rebuild kit. They ended up charging me $315.. they wouldnt even reimburse me for the $50 they added on without telling me. They lack communication, and I will not be using their service again.

They suck hands down. I went there and they didnt even fix what I came in for. Then they misplaced my motor cover and it took a month for them to replace it and the one that they gave me was old and worn out. It pissed me off like how could you lose my motor cover and then not give me a brand new one? Hell forget brand new just give me one that resembled mine. Im not the one at fault here. When they first called me and told me the motor cover was there I went but they couldnt put it on because they only had one piece to it. How could you not tell me that before I came all the way over here? I wasted gas for nothing. You all lost MY motor cover and then acted like you had amnesia and then gave me a raggedy one. When I pointed that out one of the mechanics insulted my intelligence claiming its just pollen and it can easily be wiped off. Why is there pollen on it when it should be brand new? And if its not brand new then why the hell did it take 1 month to give me a used motor cover? What ever you do dont waste your money on them. After they worked on my car it was still acting the same ...this is before we realized they didnt put the motor cover back on. The mechanic took it for a test drive and we kept telling him it only acted funny when we back up. The whole ride he wouldnt back up he just kept speeding up and slowing down and when he finally did back up the car didnt act funny almost like he did all of that so it wouldnt show any signs. Im like let me drive so I can show you. But he just ignored me. I was like wow this is pointless.

Had an oil change and they found a leak in my car. They had me come back and let me see the leak with my eyes and gave me an honest opinion as to what I should do. My car was under warranty so Ill have Honda fix it. I loved Tommys honesty. Ill be going there from now on.

Unfortunately a very bad time with them today, I took my car to him on February 24 for a job they had him a whole week in a parking lot without even touching him or calling me to give me status on my car the times we called they told us that already you were struggling with our car to what we knew was a lie since we lived nearby and saw our car without even moving from the parking lot they left me with water inside the engine and the transmissions for a whole week and last Monday I decided to go ask in person and the The boy who attended me confirmed the lies told by Evy that my car was being worked on among other cars ... on Tuesday I came back and called, he was lying to me about the car that was being repaired, I faced him and told him that his employee He said that they had not touched him and he says that they will call me in the afternoon to pick him up and he never called me, he made my car super fast, he called me Thursday to look for it and he told me That price included an air conditioning arrangement that I asked for when he took my car, the windows did not drop, I realized that they had also changed the battery without my consent since mine had bought it 3 months ago ... today when I I have been fixing they give me a totally different diagnosis, they never made a diagnosis for my air and even so they charged me and they wanted to charge me for my crystals for 500 more without knowing if it was what was damaged since they struggled with something in the fuses and 2 of them started working ... I heard a discussion about my car which they called me a liar when I said that I did not know if it was true about the glass of my car and many other things ... they lied to me the whole time it was my car in his hands in the end he gave me a check for the battery and the air conditioning but it was a horrible bad time I do not write more because Google does not allow me the frustration was horrible and the lack of respect To myself ... I am very sorry for this horrible situation since I trusted them a second time, the first was for $ 1,500 and they left one sleeve of my motor loose and the second for $ 1,200 and the experience was terrible.
