Great experience great drivers

I was mislead and told the wrong information. I went to purchase a car and was told they could not take my income when that could have been disclosed over the phone.

I had to take my car to be serviced later in the evening when the buses stopped running and I needed to get home. Once I called it took about 15 minutes for the cab to arrive. It was quite clean and the driver was polite. He used an efficient route and drove safely. I was quoted approximately $20 for a six mile journey and I paid just under $25, including a tip. If I ever needed a cab again I would call this company.

Great and friendly service with person at desk and also driver, i was not a passenger but called to get a ride for a friend 2hrs away to go down the rd 10min. they said they would arrive at a certain time and met. very happy with the service. SATISFIED thank you guys.

Cabs could stand a quality inspection. First impressions are everything. On time got me to where I was going which was the main goal of the taxi.

A few nights ago I had a really late at night at the office working on an important legal brief after an already lengthy day of trials, about 3am, and my Jag was at the dealer, so needless to say, I needed a cab, pronto. I called and 10 minutes after I called for a taxi they were outside to pick me up. The person I spoke to on the phone (Arturo) was very polite and helpful. The taxi that arrived was new, spacious, and super clean and the driver was very nice. Definitely a step up from what I expected!It was a pleasant and reliable experience, I was very pleased. Arturo kept me entertained with his humor and candor, and even offered me some of the best New York pizza I ever had from this place downtown that I swear tasted better than Pinos in Brooklyn! These guys are awesome! From now on, I will be using Yellow Cab 24 hr anytime I need a taxi and recommend it to anyone else who wants a reliable cab company.

Driver was courteous and on time. Helped with bags and didn’t talk my ear off.

I had a reservation to get picked up at 4:30 in the morning, say July 21 st. No one showed. I tried calling 10 times between 3:30 and 4:30. I kept getting an automated message asking me to leave a voicemail, then saying the mailbox was full.There was no attempt to contact me.When I called later, after I had missed my flight, I got a guy complaining that I should have called and he kept hanging up on me when I explained that I did. The last conversation he hung up on me after asking what do you want, you should have called!I think I can safely say this was the worse service I have ever experienced.If I could give a zero I would

I found this car service last minute and it was one of the best decisions Ive made in a while. I had a 6 AM flight at GNV and, wanting to avoid the early lines, I decided to give Yellow Cab a call. I was only on the phone with the man for about thirty seconds, in which he took my address and scheduled a 4:30 AM pick up time -- really straightforward.I got a call at 4:25 AM that my car was waiting for me downstairs. I was at my terminal by 4:45 AM! Cash and any card accepted, too ($40), super reasonably priced. Ill definitely be using them again, especially now that they have an app! Dont believe the fake shill reviews, the same fake ones appear on Yelp, these guys are really nice and work hard. Competition is just playing dirty!

Scheduled an airport pickup. Everything, down to the spelling of my name, was confirmed on the phone. Of course, no cab shows up. I waited 15 minutes and called twice - both times I was assured that someone was seconds away. When I finally found an Uber and called to cancel, the response was, no problem.....🙄 So very frustrating after a long day of travel.

Best service ever! Brian was amazing. When my uber cancelled on me he drove me to my bus, the last bus leaving town before Christmas just in the nick of time. Im never taking uber again and only going with Yellow Cab.

Do NOT use this cab company. I got the same treatment as these other people with horrible experiences. I called half an hour early. No show. I scheduled it so if something happened I could have some extra time. I called back and they no showed AGAIN. I missed an important appointment. They are unreliable and the positive reviews are total BS. It isnt worth the gamble.

My driver was prompt and friendly. I have worked for this company as a vendor and expected a good service however the driver was unsure of where he was going but thats ok. The most appalling part was the cost. 35.00 for a 10min ride...and I thought we were friends. I couldve and shouldve just rode the bus for 2.00. I wouldnt have minded paying 35.00 (if) I was riding in a Lincoln or Cadillac but this was a smelly, stained, nasty van. Was is clean, heck no! Was it cost effective, NO WAY but the driver was friendly and (if) that makes up for the cost for you then use em but I can tell ya I wont call Yellow Cable again!!! #Disappointed

They are WAY too expensive. Now, Ive paid $30-40 for a drive to the airport. However, Ive never paid $30-40 to go 7 minutes from my house! Not only that, he drives slow on purpose, and took a longer way to make more money. I know that there were two ways to get my destination, one is a significantly shorter route than the other, and he intentionally took the longer way. I understand theyre struggling, but if you want business- you get people to their destination fast. Not trying to do cheap tricks to make more money. Tacky. #StickToUber

Too expensive

Do not use this company, the guy who does dispatch is the rudest person. I called from my job about a guest and he calls back a few minutes later thinking he was talking to someone else and would not even let me explain he had the wrong person, kept talking over me and getting an attitude. I manage a hotel and I will never refer them business again!

I love the company yellow cab...its an awesome place to call when you need a ride asap..there always on time... and they have very loving and compassionate staff.....theres no other cab company in gainesville i would use besides yellow cab...

The driver got lost when picking me up. When I called the company and asked when their driver was coming the representative was being defensive saying that the driver was there based on the GPS. I told him multiple times that I do not see your cab driver and I turned out to be right because the driver was on another street. On top of that the driver got lost an additional two times when driving to me my destination. I do not think it is that hard to follow a GPS. I would not recommend this cab service to anyone.

Called this morning when I got discharged from Shands hospital in Kanapaha for a ride home. Brian was super helpful, professional, and arrived a few minutes before expected so I didnt have to wait long. Other companies were telling me 30 mins.. Brian estimated 15-20 mins and followed through with his word.He was polite and punctual. Ill ride through you guys again when I need. Thanks again Brian!!!!!!

Ive been living in Gainesville for 20 year and Ive call Yellow Cab 24hr several times and I was not disappointed.They was always on time and drivers are really nice

Got me from point a to point b cheaply. Thou the vehicle might be an upset, the drivers are nice. They even once sent me a text with the picture of the vehicle.

Saved me when the other taxi service didnt show up to take me to the airport!

Nice driver, but ride was EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. Over 40 dollars for a 15 minute trip. I literally felt like throwing up. Had to work my butt off 6 hours at my job to pay for that 15 minute cab ride. Obviously will never consider again.

If you need to avoid a dangerous situation late at night, I wouldnt recommend Gainesville Yellow Cab 24 Hour. While visiting Gainesville, I was in a tricky situation at 3:40am and needed to get a ride. Even after telling the dispatcher I was waiting on the curb alone in the downtown area, they kept telling me something had come up but my driver was on his way now. It took an hour and six phone calls for the cab to arrive.I asked the cab driver what happened. It had nothing to do with an emergency -- they simply take all of the rides to the airport first. If they couldnt take the call, they should have communicated that upfront rather than promising 5 more minutes and putting someone in a potentially vulnerable situation. Instead, they left a customer on a curb late at night so they could take more profitable rides.

Horrible! Parents beware! My 18yr old daughter needed to get to Jax Int’l to make a flight. The cab driver shows up in an unmarked (no company logo) vehicle, was 30min late, didn’t have a cab i.d., & didnt have his drivers license. Tamika at dispatch stated that the original car had mechanical problems and that she had to find another driver. Which is what she told my daughter; however, her story changed when I called Dispatch. Tamika revised her story claiming my daughter was late which she wasn’t because I was texting my daughter during those 30min she had to wait. Tamika also tried to lay blame on my daughter stating that the delay was because she opted for the functioning car. Crazy to think that anyone would have selected the nonfunctioning car!Brian, the manager at Dispatch, said the delay was our fault for not choosing the broken down cab, too. Doubly Incredible! Then Brian blamed us for making the driver go back to dispatch for an i.d. He said the driver would take his own risk getting stopped by the police for driving without a license. How unreputable! It never dawned on him that his driver should have a picture i.d. for the safety of the client.Reputable taxi companies have a taxi i.d. picture readily visible for the rider or atleast a driver license to show legitimacy and provide safety. When I asked Brian for his last name, he declined to provide it citing safety concerns. I guess safety only became an issue for him then, but it was never a priority for my daughter. He was argumentative and unprofessional. He ended his tirade by threatening to cancel the cab ride eventhough both cabby and daughter were then on their way to Jacksonville.It wasn’t right how they handled this situation, and I don’t think it was legal either. Take your business elsewhere if you are concerned about punctuality, reliability, and above all – safety for your college student.

I used Yellow Taxi a lot especially to airport they are very good taxi company, and they have nice driver. And I know all the drivers have taxi license and fully insured, not like other company UBER .

The worst taxi service i have ever used called an hr before i had to be to work told me it woould be 15 to 20 min to never show up hr later i called the workers constantly hung up on me an didnt tell me any info but still wanyed 15 dollars for service after i was 45 min late for work

Was not a yellow cab. Was a small red car. Seemed like an unlicensed cab Overall experience was very frustrating and uncomfortable.

I was running late for work because RTS is a joke if youre not a student, Called for a cab and the man who answered was very nice. He said it would be about 10 minutes I said give me 20, CAB NEVER SHOWED!!! I even waited outside TWENTY MINUTES so that he wouldnt have to search for my apartment number...I tried to call back and kept getting a message that the line was busy, SPARE YOURSELF call a cab that will actually SHOW UP

I was pleased with my service waited for me at the gas station. Then also made sure i got back home with a low fare.

I was told a cab would arrive in 15 min...30 minutes later a woman calls my phone and says she forgot to contact anyone and she would have someone arrive in 20-25min!!!! I stood outside of the building for over an hour waiting!

I called yellow cab because I needed to go to work. When I called the cab driver ask me for a landmark so I told him where I was near. The man said he didnt know where that was at and hung up. If your to lazy to work than quit and give the job to someone that wants to work.

Dont use them if youre trying to get somewhere on time. My ride was supposed to be here 30 minutes ago and Im officially 10 minutes late to work and counting. Wish me luck -.-
