Very pleased with staff and Dr. Baker. My new permanent crown fits like a glove. She took time to make sure it fit in every way, explained all the steps during the appointment and there was no pain at all! Great experience!

Just moved to OH and was looking for a dentist. I absolutely love everything about this clinic. From the front end staff to the doctor herself everyone was amazing. Extremely thorough and very informative on my care. I was a little shocked to hear my first visit would be about 2 hours but I have never had such a complete exam and cleaning. Everything is high tech and nothing is missed! I definitely learned a lot from this visit and I cant remember the last time I left the dentist without hurting. I highly recommend!

My dental hygienist was the kindest one Ive ever met! I had my first visit yesterday at Pure Dental and every person I met was so sweet and welcoming. The dentist is not somewhere anyone wants to be, but especially me due to a lot of really awful experiences. They took so much time with me and Ashley was so gentle but so thorough. She used a water pick and brushed and flossed prior to scraping my teeth which reduced the amount of scraping she had to do. The scraping she did do was so gentle. My teeth feel great!! Their front office staff member was also a total sweetheart and everyone was very transparent about a current issue my dental insurance company is having with their third party. I really appreciated that! Dr. Baker is a very beautiful woman and very informative and I felt like she cared but without passing judgement or making me feel ashamed. I really loved the environment as well. It was absolutely beautiful and they have state of the art equipment and so many options for comfort and safety. I just really had the best time, and Ive never said that at a dentists office, even the one I loved before I moved to Gahanna. Dr. Baker and her staff and her office are amazing. I am looking forward to my cleaning in February and even feel motivated to brush my teeth at night.. She might be magical, I dont know! 🤣 Thank you to everyone who made my experience so wonderful. This is by far the best Dental experience I’ve had since moving to Ohio 21 years ago. This is the third practice I have used. I have finally found the perfect fit I am driving from Hilliard to Gahanna. It is worth the trip. My whole Family has started seeing Dr. Baker. The office is very professional, understanding and gentle. If you are looking for a personal Dr./Patient relationship that is genuine- this is the practice for you. Dr. Baker truly cares about teeth. After calling several local dental offices to establish care and leaving messages but never receiving a return call, I was thrilled to see Dr. Baker was now in my network for my dental provider. She is highly regarded and frequently recommended by others in the community. My experience was pleasant from the first contact despite the fact that the phone number listed in my provider directory was not the office number but rather an employee’s personal cell. Simon was not in the office when he answered his cell and yet he was still extremely professional, understanding, and helpful. When we figured out what happened he graciously provided the office number. I called the office and spoke with Nicole. She too was friendly, professional, and helpful. I was fortunate that even though my initial call was last week, the timing was right. There was a cancellation and I got in more quickly than anticipated. Today was my first visit as a new patient. Customer Service is clearly a priority in the practice. Nicole and Simon were both in the office and just as pleasant to interact with in person at 7:00 AM. Brittney was my hygienist and did an exceptional job explaining the process and procedures of the initial exam and taking X-rays, examining, & cleaning my teeth. She shared her observations and the things she would ask Dr. Baker to look at further. Dr. Baker was interpersonally warm and patient-centered. She examined my teeth, reviewed the x-rays, asked some questions about my history, and provided her recommendations including prioritization. She spoke candidly related to the need to replace a poor conditioned crown from a prior dentist and the unknowns related to the metal in the crown blocking the ability to see the tooth’s condition. underneath. I received a written estimate of the recommended crown replacement costs which broke down my out of pocket and dental provider coverage. I chose to schedule the procedure at the next available date but there was no pressure to do so. I highly recommend Dr. Baker and her team for anyone looking for high quality, no pressure patient-centered care!

Dawn Baker has been my only dentist in Columbus since I moved here 3 years ago and I couldnt imagine going anywhere else now! In my check ups Ive had a handful of the different staff members as my technician and every single one is an absolute delight that when asked if i have a preference at every booking I cant choose. Dawn and her team have done a whole spectrum of care for me from routine check ups to my 6 month long Invisalign; they do everything well! I send everyone here and everyone is welcomed!

Ive been seeing Dr. Baker & team for about 4 years now. I remember sitting in the waiting room for the first time and watching all of the other patients - they all interacted with the staff as if they were family. I remember briefly feeling an outsider syndrome like Have these people been coming here for 20 years or something? Am I going to feel excluded as a new patient? That could not have been further from the truth! They treat everyone like family and you immediately feel welcomed, known, and seen. Plus, the technology and practices they use are always improving to provide the best possible care for their patients. I had the realization at my first appointment that the dentist I had seen for my whole life was YEARS behind and I had not been receiving the care I needed. From Simon at the front desk to all of the dental hygienists, the care and personal attention you receive at Pure Dental is unmatched. Cannot recommend enough!

My daughter was to have a dental appointment in March or April but because of quarantine was not able to. I was told that once they were able to begin seeing patients again they would call to reschedule her appointment. I have not heard back from them and have not been able to reach the office. My initial visit was pleasant. The X/rays were painless (sometimes the bite wings dig into my mouth, but not here). They assessed the work that was needed and provided a plan to address my short and long term needs quickly and thoroughly.

Pure dental, and Dr Bakers office team are one of the best experiences Ive ever had, and Ive been to several dentists. They take you in on time, they explain everything theyre doing, their friendly and most of all they know what theyre doingI like them so much that I recommended Dr Bakers office to my daughter-in-law, and to my granddaughter who was a toddler at the time. Dr. Dawn Baker is absolutely one of the very best dentists! We just had an emergency dental visit for my 3 year old whose tooth was accidentally pulled out. Luckily, this wasn’t my daughter’s first visit to the dentist. She actually loves going to the dentist for cleanings and check ups (because Dr. Baker and the staff are SO GOOD with kids). Today she actually said, “mommy, I’m scared, but I really like the dentist.” If that isn’t a testimony to Dr. Baker, I don’t know what is!

Dr Baker (Dawn) and her team are down to earth, friendly group of medical professionals that make going to the dentist more than bearable. If youre like me (and most people) and REALLY REALLY prefer not to go, they understand, but give you the best dental care and information your nerves can take. Dr. Baker and the entire Pure Dental staff have completely changed the my dental experience. They have thought through and implemented fantastic approach to making their patients feel comfortable and want for nothing. Each patient has the option of watching TV (on HUGE flat screen TVs) or Netflix or listening to custom Pandora stations. They even offer you sunglasses and special rubber blocks to put in your mouth to help your jaw relax while they do their work. I am telling you folks...they have thought of everything!!!I have two small children (ages 2 and 4) who each visited Pure Dental and the staff were so great with helping my overanxious children feel calm during the entire experience. They were also very patient with my kids as they asked question after question about all the instruments and what they were doing.Aside from the comfort piece, it is evident from your first visit that this staff is top notch in their knowledge of the oral cavity. They utilize all kinds of technology to capture external and internal photos/x-rays of your teeth/facial structure. They are able to identify areas of weakness or concern so much more quickly than other dentists I have gone to in the past which allows them to be much more proactive in protecting my teeth long term.I wish that I had known about Dr. Baker and her staff years ago. Great office!!!Wonderful staff! Newly remodeled rooms and new equipment! VERY caring and experts at what they do!I came there and laid it out to them- I havent been to a dentist in a few years because.. well.. dentistry! Dawn acknowledged my fears and put them all to rest. She CARED about my comfort! On the first day, I got evaluated. Pretty normal stuff, but I was snuggled under a blanket with a heated pad as I got worked on. Oh it was so nice.. When I was all done, they had an evaluation and plan all ready for me with cost estimates. Man, did they work fast!Second visit was for a 3 hour deep cleaning (did I mention I havent gone in years?). Brigit is my teeth cleaning hero!! I barely felt a thing! Almost nothing phased me! She even took the time to give me breaks. Strangely, Ive never been given breaks during a dental procedure. Ever. My lower body usually falls asleep along with my face. Not this time!!Seriously, if you have dental anxiety this office is for you. They will take great care of you!!

Dr. Baker is an absolute gem. She is kind, patient, and engaging. She goes the extra mile to get to know you. Due to some past less than desirable visits to other dentists, I have terrible anxiety surrounding the dentist. My technician Brittany helped work me through everything and overcome those anxieties during a procedure that I was quite frankly terrified to undergo. The end result has given me back a smile that I had long forgotten. Prior to this visit, I couldnt recall the last time I didnt feel ashamed of and hate my smile. The end result is so spectacular and liberating that I could almost cry. That deep rooted anxiety Im sure will not go away anytime soon, but with Brittany taking care of me, I almost look forward to my next visit!

I had been going to another dentist since I was 9 before switching to Pure Dental. I couldnt have made a better decision. Dr. Baker and her staff took amazing care of both myself and my husband and 3 year old. His first visit to the dentist was positive and he even left with 2 toys because he did such a great job. The staff is so caring and thorough during your exam. I loved how they literally told me everything they were doing and WHY they were doing it. I personally had to go back two different times for dental procedures and each time was met with a smile, explanation before, during, and after the procedure, and a follow-up to see how I was doing. I can not say enough great things about Dr. Baker and her entire staff at Pure Dental and would highly recommend them to any age patient.

The whole experience of the dental visit was much better than my last dentist. Dr. Baker was very supportive and listened to my problems with my teeth. I also appreciate the staff, they readily made a suitable treatment plan for my future visits.

Our whole family comes to see Dr Baker! Our children love that they can watch Netflix while having their teeth cleaned! The office is warm and inviting and the staff are a credit to Dr Baker taking away any nerves or apprehension you may have about visiting the dentist!Would definitely recommend PURE dental to everybody!

Going to Pure Dental was a pleasant surprise! My usual experience with the dentist has always been the typical nightmares you hear about, with Pure Dental that is not the case. Dr. Baker and her whole staff are very professional and down to earth. Not only do I get to watch Netflix while getting my teeth worked on but I get to do it in a comfortable environment. This place is my place and I cant think of one thing Id like to change!

I am not a fan of the dentist, but the staff here goes above and beyond to make sure their patients are as comfortable as possible. They provide a warm blanket, neck warmers and even snacks if you’d like. Not to mention the Dr. and ALL her staff are so friendly! Right down to the front desk. They truly go out of their way to make your visit enjoyable. Also- they worked with me to make sure I had the cheapest options presented rather than overcharge you like some dentists do. Thank you for making my 3 hour appointment today pain free and a change in opinion of the “dreaded dentist”!
