I called the day before and was able to get my car in the next day and they fixed it! I had questions and they were more than happy to answer all of my questions and explain it in layman‘s terms which I appreciated! We will be back thank you Tuffy!

I have been bringing my car here and only here for my last 5 oil changes/tire rotations. I had been coming here for convenience of location, and cheap pricing. This most recent visit, when I picked up my vehicle I noticed they did not rotate my tires but said they did. I can assure you that what I just said is correct because I had a tire that was patched that was in the same location as when I dropped it off. Along with this, they also informed me that one of my lugnuts was missing and that one of the studs was compromised due to chewed up threads. Ive never once had an issue with this vehicle in that regard, and they were the only ones working on my vehicle. I am left to assume that they created this problem. They of course denounced responsibility. They do not have your best interest, and the customer service is mediocre at best. I will not be returning. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere and get a more personable and transparent experience.

Had our daughters car aligned, wheels balanced, and a broken lug nut removed. They werent sure they could get the broken lug nut out without damaging the wheel but they did get it out without doing any damage. Daughter says the car drives great again. This will be our go to service from now on.

I have been using this Tuffy for going on 3 years now and can not say enough positive things about them. They have saved my car and my sanity. My car has a max care warranty so I was originally using carmax who was awful! They would charge me for things that weren’t broken they were just taking guesses. I had my car to carmax on 3 different occasions and they could not diagnose the grinding my car made every time I made a left turn. I took it to tuffy and they was able to determine I needed a new steering system and get my car fixed in less than a day or 2. Since then I have only trusted them with my car. They have fixed soooo many issues and always get my car back in perfect condition within a day. I literally don’t trust anyone else with my car. And Mike has perfect communication and customer service EVERY TIME!

Unable to prove my car was aligned. I asked on phone how it went. Guy spoke generically and said he would have to talk to tech. Never given numbers, and they cant provide them. Other places I have gone provide a printout. Probably will stop going there.

I’ve been here twice to get brake work completed. I was apprehensive to go because I was taken advantage of by another smaller shop (they were exposed by “six on your side” so that placed duped a lot of folks). Mike is one of the nicest humans I’ve ever met. I wish there were more people and men like him. The service provided was excellent and very much appreciated. Hopefully they continue to get more business based off of the quality of work they do, the positive reviews and because Mike is awesome. Had a wonderful experience at Tuffy Tire in Gahanna, Oh on the morning of 2/27/21. I was treated with respect as a first time customer. I arrived early and they had my car pulled in to start before my appointment time started. I waited as they inspected my brakes and changed them out. The pricing was excellent for the work that was done. COVID protocols were used throughout. Each customer that came in was greeted by name. I found a new home for my vehicle to be serviced! I went in to have car inspected. My front left tire was making the worst metal grinding noise ever! At first I thought brake pads and rotors need replaced. I mentioned the quote being like $200+ for brake pads and the man at the front desk said oh no thats too steep..it should be lower for pads. I appreciate his honesty! So I ended up having a tiny piece of metal lodged in my tire that caused the awful noise! They removed it and didnt charge me a thing. I was so relieved by the news and was grateful for them providing the service free of charge. They were also very helpful and kind. I highly recommend going to them for car needs! I know I will ❤

Yesterday, I bought a vehicle from a private seller in Columbus. I drove the car for 1 day, and by the evening it was running hot. You guessed it, I got scammed.It just so happened that I was in Gahanna when this occered, and Tuffy Tire and Auto was right down the street. I drove the car to them and explained the whole story and asked what the possible issues could be. The manager told me some possibilities, but he didnt stop there. He told me to pull the car up, and he and another technician ran a quick chemical test which showed immediately that it was a head gasket issue. They didnt charge me for this even though it saved me time and money.The Whole Story:I am in Ohio to launch a new Amazon facility just south of Toledo. I had arranged to buy this vehicle prior to flying into Columbus to avoid driving my vehicle 1900 miles and exposing it to the snow and salt. I had planned to be in Toledo by Thursday morning, but now, with a chunk of my travel budget gone and no running vehicle, I was in a time and budget crunch.Because of the good moral value of common decency displayed by the staff at Tuffy Tire and Auto, I was able to recoup a little bit of both. When something bad happens to a person, a little bit of empathy and compassion goes a long way. And for me, it was right on time.Thanks again. God Bless You.

Amazingly fast service, super friendly, and transparent. Alternator went out on a Saturday morning. The tow truck dropped the van off at Tuffy at about 1:00 and by 4:30 they had diagnosed and finished the repair and I was back on the road. So thankful I didn’t have to go without a car for days or deal with them trying to upsell me on 1,000 other services I don’t need. Would definitely recommend.

Took my BMW in because I suspected I had an oil leak and also a possible AC leak. They inspected both and told me they couldn’t detect an oil leak or an AC leak. Mike was very honest and he didn’t even charge me for the inspection of the two. Had them top off the AC at a very reasonable price. Thanks for the honesty.

I went to Tuffy because I received a flyer in the mail for an oil change with a coupon. It ended up costing me $23 more than the coupon for the oil change. It was no “deal”. They also said I needed a new cabin filter when I personally just replaced the cabin filter a two months ago.

After breaking down on the side of the road on my way to work, I had my car towed to Tuffy, but was skeptical because I had never been before and it was suggested by the individual towing my car. I was very impressed & would go back. I received a call from Brandon as soon as my car arrived at the shop to get more information about the problem. No matter what they tried the problem couldnt be replicated but I was happy they tried endlessly all day and even the following morning after keeping my car over night. Every time I spoke with Brandon on the phone he was so polite and answered all my questions. When I went to pick it up, Mike greeted me with a smile and honored the coupon I had accidentally left at work. Such a wonderful experience overall. Thank you guys! My future car troubles I will bring to you.

Service manager was busy all the time, but consistently helpful to customers coming in & on phone. Technician very helpful, explained to me what he was doing & why.

The guy at stuffy was nice but when I brought my car there and they offered me a repair for more than 2,100$, that I just got done on another place for the total of 1,049$. Always check what he puts on your estimate. If you have over 100$ labor for EACH PART... you should know that something is very off!Dont trust them.

We stopped in with tail lights that were out and Firestone wanted to charge us $80 to just run diagnostics. We got out of Tuffy for $21 and both tail lights work great now. The prices are fair and service is great! I’d give 10 stars if I could. Stop by here before trying anywhere else.
