Paul and the Mrs are very nice and they do the business all on their own. He answers the phone and keeps his schedule pretty much on the mark. If you make an appointment - keep it as he has that spot for you. If you have to back out, just call and let him know so he might be able to help someone else. Thats courtesy and respect

Got gel polished on a Tuesday, on Wednesday chipping and lifted up on nails. The wife very nice, thought husband was until I went back to fix em. Told me I didnt take care off my nails and obviously I do to much with my hands. What I work and was man hands just like I hope any other person. Gel polish cost more and suppose to last longer than 5days period. I rate them a 5 bcuz of his bad attitude and customer service. Oh well on to next..

After paying 60 dollars I am not pleased at all.Update, 1 star:Feb 01 2019. My nail snapped in half and on my other hand my index finger nail is majorly lifting. Not happy.👎

I have been using L & V for about 9 months. The salon is clean, the staff friendly, and even the clientele (strangers) get into fun conversation. The girls are absolute pros at what they do and Ive used them all. They are so good I dont even request them by name because you cant go wrong. From a general pedicure to a full out callus removal and spa treatment you wont be disappointed. My manicures are always beautiful and they last forever even when not gels and Im rough on my hands. Excellent work. Excellent price.

Ive been coming here for a few months and I love it! One day I called them and they were super busy and understandably could not fit me in for an appointment. So, I went somewhere else. I was extremely displeased. The place even nipped me and made me bleed! The very next week I went straight back to L&V! And they took wonderful care of me.Paul, and his wife are so friendly and do great work. You can really see the professionalism and experience. Ive never ever left and felt unsatisfied. Most places Ive been I feel I need to file on my nails after I leave, I never feel that here. My nails look perfect every time. Even two weeks later I am still impressed. I am so thankful to have such a great nail place, with good people, nice conversation and amazing work.

Paul was great my nails were missed up from another shop in Greensboro. He took them and transformed them into straight sexiness❤️I will be back again and I wont be alone either. Thank you for the great job very pleased with my beautifully shaped nails

Ive been coming here for over a year now and every time I do it is a delight to be there! The owners are so nice and very accommodating to their customers and make you feel at home. The whole feel and energy of the place is calm and we all feel it and it makes the customers interact with each other more:) Of course I will be back, just made an appointment for tomorrow:)

Great people, great service! Clean and helpful staff. I recently chipped a nail during the Holiday and I stopped in and Paul happily fixed my nail at no charge, I will be back in next week for my regular fill and polish!

I will never patronize this business again because the owner Paul is very Rude and Nasty. At first he comes off as being nice and respectful with manners but then he changes instantly. I asked him to file my big toe nail straight because it was crooked. He gave me a long song and dance about how he knows how to do nails and hes been doing this for a long time etc., and then he handed me the nail file and told me that I can do it myself. In my mind I already knew that this was going to be my last visit there. He left dead skin around my big toes so I asked him to please cut off the dead skin, he began running his hands through his hair as if I was asking for too much. When it was time for him to polish my toe nails I told him that I wanted French tips. He put the first coat of white on and I asked him for another coat and then he looked at me and told me to let him do this. He then proceeded to tell me with an attitude If I have a problem with my toe nails to call him in about two to three weeks and he will take care of it then. He also told me that he will do it this time but he will not do it again. I told him that I am a paying customer and that I should be able to get whatever it is that I want because Im paying. I also let him know that this will be the last time that I will visit his establishment. He got up from his chair and said thats it and threw the nail instrument on the floor; his wife stepped in and finished my feet and then she started on my finger nails. I called my husband and told him what had transpired and I asked my him to bring me cash because I didnt feel comfortable using my debit card after Paul showed me his true colors. My husband came and brought me the cash and he told Paul do not talk to me in a disrespectful manner again. Paul started getting Nasty and yelling at my husband and then he called 911 and told them it was an emergency. I too called 911 myself and explained to the dispatcher what had just happened. One Fuquay Police Officer came to the scene before another one arrived. I explained to the officer what happened and he was very nice and attentive and he thanked us for hanging around until he arrived. I told him that Pauls wife was in the process of doing my finger nails and that I dont even want her to finish because this was uncalled for. I told the officer that I will do a review about Pauls customer service and how I will never patronize his establishment again. We laughed about the review. The officer went in the nail salon to get Pauls side of the story which was quick and when he came out we laughed some more. My husband and I thanked the officer and he did the same in return and we left.

Dont go here if you are busy like me and need an appointment. Twice Ive made appointments for a manicure, arrived a few minutes early both times, yet still had to wait - once for 30 minutes and once for 20 minutes. The second time the person doing the manicure seemed mad and rushed through it...A wait is fine, but dont offer appointments if you cant keep them!

I go to this salon for everything - manicures, pedicures, eyebrow waxing, etc. - and L & V is the best. Great prices and provide better service than nail salons Ive visited that were twice as expensive.

We called and made an appointment for 3 and it was no problem till another group came in for an appointment they made at 530 also and they were understaffed and not prepared. The owner went on to say how we never made our appointment and told us we were wrong numerous times and that we had to have called the wrong one when we didnt. This isnt the first time its happened. Very unprofessional and cannot own up to their mistakes. I quit going here for a reason but went because of a girls Night.

It was my first trip but I was very impressed.....it was quiet and relaxing, everyone was kind and the all over service was great. I would and do highly recommend it.

BE WARNED!! I have been going to L & V Nail for a wail now, because they are close and convenient. However, I will NOT be returning due to the way they treat people and conduct business. Besides Paul, the owners rude attitude and manners. L & V Nail has 3 major drawbacks. 1 They will NOT let you make an appointment any earlier than 2 or 3 days before you want it. 2 They will NOT take any walk-ins unless there is an available Tech when you walk-in the door, even if you offer to wait. 3 If something is wrong or has gone wrong with your nails Paul WILL be sure to blame you, the customer, for the issue. (Do not miss understand me. I have NOT had problems with my nails. Im NOT a customer seeking revenge.) I have been present more than once when a customer has been turned away as a walk-in or are blamed for something to do with their nails when they have just sat down and are showing Paul or his wife what needs to be fixed with their nails. ** I REFUSE to due business with someone of their character or should I say with the lack of their character. **

The owner is very rude which is bad for his business. Providing outstanding customer service should be important to him but clearly its not.

I was spoken to VERY rudely when I called to schedule a nail apt with my nail tech, I have been coming here for several months now and I was trying to get in before Christmas and the gentleman that answers the phone (the owner) was VERY short and rude with me and so I went elsewhere to get my nails done. I was very unhappy with the place I ended up having to go to and when I came back from my trip I called to get the nails taken off, I called to schedule an apt to get them taken off and was told to come in right away I sat down and (the owner) made it a point to tell me how terrible they looked, I agreed, he started to PRY my nail off I said please stop and soak them first because it hurt, he said go back to the place that did them, I told him I did not want to because I did not want to spend anymore money with them. He would not take off the nails, acted as if it was going to take up too much time (with only 2 people in the shop) I then mentioned to him about the short and rude phone conversation last week and was asked Well whats the problem I told him (the owner I was not going to come back because if it and he told me to get out I dont have to do business with you I was BLOWN away that a business owner would treat someone as he treated me!

Came in to get a manicure and pedicure for prom, left with a cuticle bleeding from the buffing tool used with acrylic nails, and a cut on my toe from the pedicure which has become infected even with antibiotic cream on it in the days since I got them done.

Stopped by one day for a walk in when I was in the area. Loved the shape & color, and the owner was so friendly and professional. Just had my second visit today and my nails look great again! He does some magic!! I drive over 25 min from Clayton and I will continue to use L & V always! & recommending them to all my friends!
