I do not recommend living here. This entire apartment complex is infested with cockroaches. For reference, look at the reviews on Yelp. The day I moved in and removed the drain plug in the sink, they came crawling out. I immediately spoke with the leasing office about this. They are nice and seem genuinely concerned about the issue, however, their kindness does not solve the ongoing problem. They provide an outside pest control company to do treatments every Thursday. Ive consistently had my unit treated every Thursday and the infestation persists. Mind you, if you do choose to move in and get treatments every Thursday, you will need to remove everything from your kitchen and bathroom cabinets, closets, etc, so that pest control can effectively treat the unit. This is a huge weekly inconvenience. Ive moved ALL of my dry food into air tight containers. I wipe down the sinks and shower after every use to ensure there is not access to water. The problem still persists. They roam in the bedroom closets, living room, kitchen, bathroom, everywhere. They occasionally treat the surrounding units. However, if everyone is not on board to also get consistent treatments and keep food and water away, then a treatment will not keep cockroaches from living in the walls and reentering the unit. With that being said, if you choose to live here, you will struggle with a cockroach infestation for your entire duration here. The problem is so bad that its impossible to terminate unless drastic measures are taken, such as spraying the entire apartment complex consistently, which is probably unrealistic. The bedrooms stay miserably hot during the summer, despite having AC in the living room. The place is run down. My sink was leaking and needed to be repaired shortly after moving in.The shared utilities are very pricey each month.Ive been here 3 months and its disappointing to say the least. I know the online advertising pictures, the in-person tour, and the nice management are convincing, but please know, this place isnt it.I’m very skeptical of the recent five start reviews without any additional comments. I may be reading between the lines, but there appears to be a recent incentive offered to tenants. Or there are accounts created specifically for increasing their ratings. Something doesn’t seem right here with all of the recent poor reviews listed on Yelp and the very real apartment wide cockroach infestation.I of course want this apartment complex to be successful. However, they have a lot of work to do in order to make this place habitable. It’s unethical to false advertise this place to people for the sake of making ends meet when there is a severe cockroach infestation that needs serious attention.Good luck on your apartment hunt,a regretful UCE tenant

I am living here for almost 1 year now and I love this place. It is a good place for students as it is only 5 mins walking from California State University. The neighborhood is friendly and safe with cops patrolling every night. It is a perfect option for international students who dont have a car and want cheap accommodation very close to campus. The support staff is always there to fix if anything is broken and Kim in leasing office will take care of any other problems that you have. The amenities are well maintained, you ahve a beautiful pool, media room, gym and free coffee.

Any lower level apartment floors are infested with cockroaches. The first day I moved in I saw two right off the bat. I have been seeing at least one cockroach daily since the day that Ive moved in. Not to mention that the rooms have no air circulation - keep in mind that you will need to buy an air conditioner for the hotter days. On top of this, the leasing office times are always incorrect. There is rarely ever anyone there when you need them. So all in all a decent college apartment if you just need a place to sleep and dont care about comfort. Its a shame because the outside looks fantastic - pool looks nice, great outdoor activities.TDLR: No air conditioner or ventilation for individual rooms. Cockroach town. Leasing office seems to be closed very often.

I have been living here from 2 years now and the place is amazing. Lilia is a great manager and they have a nice team to help us with our issues. The apartments are well-maintained and comfortable for living. It is near to Cal State Fullerton which makes this place perfect for students.

Overall, this place is okay but in terms of price, you are really only paying for the convenience of being five minutes away from campus.Things constantly need to be replaced or fixed, theres a lot of noise from the freeway and residences, and the units trap a lot of heat in warmer months. The wall unit for the AC does not circulate in the apartment and neither does the heater which you have to have maintenance turn on for you.At least once a month there were emergency maintenance operations that would force water or power to be shut off for a few hours (and sometimes without notice). This would be okay once in a while but it happened once if not multiple times every month. Maintenance staff is friendly but I feel that management lacked a lot of good communication practices. Instead of posting notices (regarding maintenance or entries) on peoples doors, where they are not likely to be seen, residence should be emailed or called about these important notices. I especially became frustrated about this considering while I was doing school online there would be days were I would not step outside to see a possible notice from the office.Washing machines were a hassle; you had to use a laundry card that could only be filled with $5s, $10s, or $20s, in the office DURING office hours. Which leads me to another issue, management was often late from lunch or closed when they should have been open. My clothes would come out soaking wet and the only way to be reimbursed was to contact the company who owned the washing machines myself and use my gas to go deposit their $2 check if they were to even give me one. On multiple occasions I was told by management that they would be switching their machines to take debit cards (was told this in February 2019) and that never happened.Lots of residence also smoke on the property (in the hallways, near or under windows, or in the steps) which is not great for people like myself who suffer from asthma or other respiratory issues.Lastly, my roommate had pointed out to management that she was skeptical about what looked to be a crack in the faucet of our shower. It was dismissed as not a concern but later on I woke up to maintenance entering my unit while I was sleeping and having to perform an emergency repair because a leak had caused a flood in the second in first floor units below us.My recommendation is save your money and live somewhere further from campus with better services for their residences.

Took a tour here awhile ago, but ended up landing at their other site, UCA. Lilly showed me around and she was such a wonderful person, answered all my questions and very informative. Great attitude and such a quaint place to see. Loved their amenities like the putting green and Boceball area. Lots of foliage and greenery inside. Quiet, simple, and perfect for anyone who enjoys being close to school and restaurants. I chose UCA purely for the jacuzzi though, sorry guys lol!

I do not recommend living at these apartments. People here are insanely noisy until 2 AM and nothing is done about it even with multiple complaints. We were told before moving in there is security out at night but that’s obviously a lie. My bike has been stolen, car has been hit in the parking lot (no note left). The staff and location is nice but it’s really not worth the price and hassle of the annoying neighbors.

I lived here for two years and it was not too bad, but after realizing that I had options, I would never come back here. My experience here was pretty neutral since I am not the most picky, but there are alot of things wrong with this place. I have lived in both a single and double bedroom so I would say I have alot of experience with this apartment complex.First, lets start with how small these rooms with the price you are paying. The apartments here are EXTREMELY small with the same price as a townhouse close by. There is only one restroom even for apartments with two rooms. The bedrooms are pretty small, the living room is the only thing decently sized, the kitchen is nice and open, but the restroom is incredibly tiny for what you are paying. The sink is outside of the restroom which is really awkward. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, and comes with a refrigerator which is nice. There is one ac unit in the living room so make sure to place fans in the bedrooms to cool down. The amenities here are nice, but are always crowded. I have never been able to use the BBQ when I wanted and the pool is sometimes trashed. Ive only been able to use the Rec room once because that too is always crowded. The trash cans here are always filled and disgusting. Trash is always everywhere and you can see the occasional roach preying on the trash mismanagement. The apartment operates through community, so if people start to be messy with how they place their trash, the whole community has to be punished as well. It is an unfair system but how else do you monitor that.No utilities are paid for except gas I believe. Better than nothing but in my experience, gas is never as expensive. The management here is hit or miss. I think it really depends on the mood of the associates. I have had experience where they would be incredibly rude to me but experiences where they were extremely nice. For work orders, I find that they are really slow in terms of completing them. Also beware of bike theft, I have heard from multiple people of having their bikes stolen off the bike racks around the complex. So make sure to lock them or just have them in your apartment.

First of all I would give them “0” stars if I could. The manager is rude think her name is Kimberly and will talk down to you, and if you complain about her to corporate she will illegally tow your vehicle. My apartment flooded twice and the manger tried to blame me and make me pay for it but once we called corporate she changed her mind and it took her a week to even come look at the flood and the carpet was soaking wet smelled awful, then said she would have it cleaned and won’t replace it, another call to corporate and they replaced the carpet. Someone put bleach in the dryer ruining all the clothes and the managers answer was oh well. She says FULLERTON POLICE DEPARTMENT ARE ALL LIARS when it comes to legal matters. The manager will also refuse to give you the regional manager or corporates number so you gotta get that on your own. There’s a lot more this manager has done but this is top of the list.

Great apartment complex. Clean, quiet, and close to CSUF campus. The staff has been very accommodating and they know how to get stuff done. Some people have made complaints about cockroaches, etc, but those are the people that dont pick up after themselves. Take your trash out and clean consistently and you shouldnt have a problem. I havent experienced any problems since Ive been here, aside that overnight guest parking is $5 a night, but thats kind of expected for a complex across the street from a university.

Every time I go to the leasing office Kimberly (The assistant Manager), is always rude to me and makes me feel stupid. The other manager is really nice, and explains and genuinely talks to you, this girl though is just plain cold. I was only 17 when I moved in so I was not on the lease and still am not, so my mother signed for me. Today I went in tried to get a new pass, but Im not on the lease, and she clearly brought it up and made it seem like Im not even a resident. So, she did not even want to help me and kept giving me cold answers, I have never been rude or anything, so maybe that is just her attitude. For any freshman looking to live here I recommend elsewhere, its boring (Meaning no student life really), and pricey for what the apartments provide for you. I would suggest getting an apartment a little farther away from campus and just buying a school parking pass, or even just riding your bike. A one bedroom here is border line nearing 2k with wifi, light, and the 100$ monthly water bill, this water bill is calculated based on what the entire complex uses not what you use(You could not be here for a month and you still pay 100$!) Parking passes are 50$ extra after the first one, so this place gets expensive. The only thing that is great is how close it is to campus, but everything else is not trust.

The UCEs are a good place to live if you have money, it’s super close to school and it was really nice not having to drive to school all the time, people smoke in the hallways here, it’s gets really hot in then rooms if you LITERALLY don’t have the AC on all day. The Office was nice and helpful whenever you needed them and responded rather quickly. The laundry room though SUCKS. I hated it so much, never do laundry there. Parking is always open and never had a hassle, but since it’s next to the freeway your car will get dirty in a day so I never could wash my car and there are a lot of ants and spiders and they’ve gotten into my car a lot.I did enjoy my time here, but it’s really expensive for what it is, you can get a much larger apartment for cheaper than here. So if you have money and don’t care much about the living space and want a closer apartment to CSUF, then live here. It’s much better than the UCAs and the UHs
