Moved here from NY and was in search of a new hair stylist. A friend recommended Masoodah at City Salon, and I am so grateful. She did and incredible job. I had not colored my hair in 1.5 years and she bought my hair back to life with the best cut and color. The space is so nice. You have your own room. She is super sweet and friendly. Very happy with the outcome.

Masoodah has been doing my hair for over 8 years. She is so talented and has completely changed my look for the better. I am constantly get compliments on my cut and color. Masoodah Ellison is amazing! She colored, balayage and cut my hair after a year of COVID “ home color and cuts”. She was super clean, vaccinated for safety and only one client at a time so you get all her attention. So grateful for her services and recommended her to my friends and family.

Massodah has been my hairstylist for 4 years now and I am really glad I found her! I have a mix of curly and straight hair and depending on my mood, I style it fully either way. She knows my hair really well and gives me a cut that looks good either way. I absolutely admire her passion and care she puts into it to get it right every single time!Additionally, I also got my balayage done with her (I am a chicken when it comes to playing with color). She took the most conservative route to make it look amazing while coloring the least amount of my hair. Masoodah did a pandemic makeover of my hair. She did a fantastic job. Since the pandemic I decided to do something new. I allowed her to help with that choice. She has great technical skills and great ideas. She gets to know who you are and can see what style would work for you as an individual. She also takes in your consideration as well, to come up with what would work for you as an individual. I would recommend Masoodah to anyone of any age, she can relate to anyone. Masoodah is the best! I completely lucked out when moved to a new city and had to just randomly pick a new stylist. She is a true artist. Professional, friendly, welcoming, and a true artist and expert. I’ve been seeing her a year and a half, and my 20 year old daughter loves her too. Masoodah will not recommend services you don’t truly need or is not healthy for your hair. I feel like I’m on vacation when at her salon, and always look forward to going. She also has great products that are less expensive than I’ve seen at other salons. She has done Brazilian Blowout ok me twice, and it has changed my life! I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Leased a Suite in CITY SALON before it even opened put my deposit down build a business And after one year this prejudice man wouldn’t even renew my lease along with three other black ladies that were leasing with him that started off with the building first opened!very bad owners they constantly look at Facebook and collaborate on your personal Facebook views This is 2021 and black lives and businesses matter this is one of the problems that we have with owners in the salon businesses to all black entrepreneurs please be aware!

I had a great experience with Masooda today; it was my first time treating my hair and she was very accommodating and professional. Masooda made me feel comfortable with the whole process by sharing her own experiences with me and taking her time to explain everything she was doing.

Massooda is incredibly talented, I’ve been using Massooda for 10yrs. She stays current on all things concerning her clients needs. Massooda does a phenomenal job on hair and now “microblading”. I would give zero stars if that was an option. I initially made an appointment with Claudia but she called me the next day that she had booked me at the same time she had booked someone else. So I had to reschedule to another day. That day comes and I drive all the way there and there is no sign of her. I call her twice and get no response. She texted me 15 minutes later when I’m already on my way home asking if I’m still going to the appointment. She wasted my time twice and did not even apologize. She is extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. I’m never going there again.

I saw Claudia in suite 307 and she did an amazing job on my hair. The color is awesome! I could’nt be more satisfied. Will be going back to her for sure. Highly recommended.
