My daughters have been at this gym for almost three years, and they absolutely love it!! The coaches are phenomenal. They focus on details, and they are extremely supportive of each athlete and their individual path. Whenever my husband or I drop the girls off for practice, we are confident that our girls are training in the safest environment impossible. What a relief! We love Kurt Thomas Gymnastics, and we’d give them 6 stars if we could!

We have been at Kurt Thomas for over three years now. I have two girls on team (the youngest started in rec classes) and the skills they are learning far exceed just gymnastics. The gymnastics coaching is top notch, focusing on form and attention to detail and not just being able to “throw a skill,” but additionally these girls have mentors in their coaches and learn how to be on a team and a good teammate.The gym is incredibly family friendly and oriented and after having been to other gyms we are proud to call this our gym home.If you are moving to Frisco, you have many choices in gymnastics in the area, but for my family this was the only choice.

This gym is VERY beautiful and fluttery on the outside, but as a former gymnast I wish I had left sooner. The emotional abuse in this gym is astronomical. Coaches are rude. They yell at you expecting perfection. When you ask about corrections you are sat out by coaches. There is blatant favoritism in teams which causes tensions and rude remarks not addressed by coaches. Some rude remarks made by certain coaches are very detrimental to a gymnasts self esteem. Skills are taught late in the season which makes it hard for gymnasts to work and perfect the skill before competition. Routine clinics are spent conditioning with little time left to learn routines. They can make you repeat just so you can be on the podium. Recreational is ok there, but if your into team, watch out. Be aware, I would not do it again.

Fantastic Gym!!! We have been at Kurt Thomas Gymnastics for almost 5 years now. Our daughter started in the Rec program and then transitioned to the competitive USAG program. I really can’t say enough good things about this gym!The front desk team is amazing! They are always available to help regardless of what I need! The coaches are hands down the best! I am truly thankful that they encourage and lift up our gymnast and her teammates through great coaching. They are tough, but still sweet. It keeps the sport fun and our girl motivated to do her best and keep growing as a gymnast! My daughter is confident and has become a true leader, and I believe gymnastics has something to do with that. Her coaches are mentors and their positive influence on her has been so great!We also started our son in a Rec Class and his coach was also our daughter’s first coach from almost 5 years ago! I love that!!!I also love that if I have questions, I can email the gym and get a response quickly. Beckie, the owner of the gym, has always been so helpful when I’ve had questions or didn’t understand something. It’s obvious to me that Beckie and her team of coaches have the gymnast’s best interest at heart. It’s their top priority and I appreciate that so much.I am truly thankful for Kurt Thomas Gymnastics. Kurt and Beckie Thomas have created an amazing gym with a positive, loving, and family atmosphere. It’s the place to be if you are looking for a gymnastics gym home.

My daughter has attended this facility since the age of 2. Attending Kurt Thomas gymnastics has boosted her self confidence, gained discipline and she’s made so many good friends in this sport. She absolutely loves her coach Mary. The coaches and staff are absolutely the best to the athletes. I wouldn’t want her to train anywhere else.

Hands down the best gym in the area. Top notch staff with little to no turnover, which is awesome for consistency for the children. The staff is like a family and every single person goes out of their way to make the customer feel a part of that family.

After five years, I am leaving Kurt for poor communication, no professionalism, and poor customer service starting from owner Beckie. You will find good coaches but they do have turnover. Good luck with calling the gym and getting someone to pick up the phone.

Kurt Thomas Gymnastics is a great gym. We recently moved from out of state & quickly found KT to be a great fit for our 2 girls. The office staff are warm & have great communication in getting your gymnast evaluation and info. One of my girls joined the optionals team and has found it challenging, yet exciting to gain new skills and compete strong this season. While my other daughter decided the TAAF program was a good fit for her. With less hours vs USAG, but still competing which had her growing in her gymnastics skills. Lots of options with Rec, TAAF, & USAG. Also, KT does a fantastic job with having specialized event coaches and coaches available for instruction/correction on skills and routines. KT encourages gymnasts to their fullest potential & it shows with all the smiles on these girls! Lot of life skills being shared here in this gym on top of the fact they create amazing athletes! Overall, we are thrilled we found a great place to make friends & gain skills!

Great gym with great coaches. Their attention to the athlete is the best weve seen. Great facility, but wish they had cameras to watch practice. Very small space to watch and impossible to social distance as a parent

Our daughter has been coached at Kurt Thomas gymnastics for the past 4 years and is now a level 9 gymnast. Every detail regarding her safety, the coaching she receives, the equipment she uses and the communication with us as her parents is completed with excellence. The practices are precisely organized for maximum progress during which the girls are encouraged to reach their potential but at the same time forming appropriate yet caring relationships with their coaches. At meets, everything regarding time schedules, assignment of coaching staff, the girls safety and the presentation of the Kurt Thomas team members is incredibly organized, allowing the gymnasts to compete with confidence and the parents to know every detail has been taken care of. I am confident that our daughter’s progression as a gymnast now and her pursuit of a future collegiate gymnastic scholarship is and will be fully pursued by Kurt Thomas Gymnastics staff. I can’t imagine our life without our “Kurt Thomas family” of coaches, gymnasts and parents. I highly recommend Kurt Thomas Gymnastics!

I have kept my girl at KT because of the staffs steadfast commitment to her growth as a gymnast and as a maturing young lady! They have taught her to work hard for what she wants and to persevere through her struggles to accomplish her goals. I absolutely love Kurt Thomas Gymnastics (especially the Thomas family) for how they welcomed my daughter and rebuilt her confidence when she joined the gym a year and a half ago. They communicate regularly with the parents, respond promptly to questions and concerns, and are very professional. They’ve handled COVID with thoughtful action plans and clear communication, demonstrating their commitment to a safe return. It’s abundantly clear how much they love their gymnasts!

This is by far the BEST gym for my daughter!! They are extremely protective of the safety of my child! They are the very first gym to sanitize with a professional company that specializes in Covid and other nasty germs! My daughter has thrived in their family oriented setting! The best gym . Whether you are seeking recreational or full competitive . We have been here for 7 years. They treat my daughter like she is their own. No negative experiences whatsoever only positive . This gym has been a foundation for my daughter . The skills she has learned here (physical and mental) will carry her through her life . You really have to know what you want for your child and what your child wants before deciding to go to this gym. They have incredible coaches and if your child is young and has potential, they will work with your child well and teach them good foundations. However, they are widely known throughout the gymnastics community for holding girls back to win the podium so the can say that they are number one in the compulsory levels. However, they are not producing any elite gymnasts. Also, if your child is a little older, they are willing to sacrifice her gymnastics career to take the podium at competitions. They dont focus on up training as the childs ability permits, rather they teach to the compulsory routine so that they can ensure podium wins. Other gyms will tell you that you should always be training one to two levels ahead for proper progression, yet this gyms owner wants the titles and sacrifices the up training.

You will love KT. The coaches genuinely care about your child. They are talented and have a positive attitude.

This place is just amazing. I had one of my daughters join here since she was 3, and as soon as my other one was able to join, I automatically knew this would be great for her too. Both have very different personalities but they love this place. All of the coaches theyve had are very detailed and professional. I love that they teach and correct them when they do something wrong, without taking the fun away. They always use have different activities and are taught all around the gym areas. I highly recommend Kurt Thomas Gymnastics. Theyre great.

The program here is excellent! The coaches are involved and invested in student progress and enjoyment. My daughter is 4 years old and attends 3x per week. The pricing is extremely reasonable and the staff is very accommodating. Kurt Thomas Gymnastics takes and interest in students love and enjoyment in learning the sport and developing proper skills and techniques to compete. I am very impressed with everyone at the facility. From the reception to the training everyone is welcoming and customer service is outstanding! This program exudes excellence! I would recommend anyone with a child interested in gymnastics to try this program you will NOT be disappointed!!!

State of the art facility and amazing, caring and fun coaches!

My daughter and I have had an awesome experience from the beginning . There has been great communication via email on a regular basis. My daughter was on team, we were initially looking at the USAG program and we made the decision to enroll into the TAAF program due to scheduling. They were very informative in helping us get settled into the gym as well understanding the difference in each team program and what to expect. The Coaches ( Princetta, Katie, Mary and Stephanie ) are amazing, no yelling, always being positive and encouraging to help build confidence in the gymnasts. It says a lot when other Coaches take the time to acknowledge and give corrections and offer support to a gymnast who is not necessarily under their own instruction and group on several occasions ( my daughter was spotted by Rick and Kadence on uneven bars ) . Anytime I have called or stood at the front desk Ms. Lori and Adrian were very helpful and welcoming . They were always eager to assist and make sure I had a good understanding when I had questions. They also would double check any payments or team fees when I had to update my records during meet season. They helped walk me through a blind access to my account and never passed any judgment for not being tech savvy. As far as the gym it is a very uniform and structured facility. If the gymnast are are on the uneven bars / balance beam they are able to see themselves on a tv screen to be able to see form and visualize the error / correction. A larger gym would be ideal somedays it may seam a little over crowded ( prior to COVID -19) . You have the ability to watch practice or drop off. As far as Beckie and Kurt they always made themselves accessible to any parents who had any questions or concerns . They gym has done a phenomenal job of insuring the gymnast safety. I would highly recommend this gym- KT STRONG!

I just liked it alot

I had an issue with Billing with the Office Manager who refused to resolve the issue after talking twice.I had posted this review and the Business Owner got involved and she immediately resolved the issue satisfactorily.Very happy to see that the Business Owner was very proactive in this matter and I sincerely hope the Office Manager gets a few lessons on Customer Service. This place has maintained an A+ rating with BBB and I am sure the major reason is the Owners running it ethically.

We went for my 3 years olds trial class today and were so impressed with the staff. They genuinely cared about his experience and really worked with him when he wouldnt go in. Laurie, at the front desk, talked to him and let him know shed go in and sit with him if he wanted her to. They let him sit and observe and he went in on his own timing. He came out wanting to do it again and we will definitely be returning!

My girls are going to this gym for almost 2 years now and we are very happy with it. All coaches are fun & professional. They are just simply awesome! I am watching my girls soar in gymnastics everyday.

I go to this gym 5 days a week my coaches are very caring and skilled I have so much fun learning but we take it seriously it is the best😌
