In our opinion, this Title Company has their best interests in mind, not yours. Title Company attempted to obtain unnecessary personal information not needed to finalize sale of the home. Communication was poor to inconsistent & closing documentation provided by Title Company at signing was inaccurate due to their own negligence. Title Company was completely inflexible with closing dates, which was inconvenient to both the buyer & the seller.Based on our experience, we would highly encourage you to consider using a different title company.

Lawyer’s title was chosen by the buyer’s agent for closing on my house sale and my agent and I were not pleased with how this transaction was handled. She was in touch with them constantly the week before closing to make sure everything was in order for a time of closing. Closing was scheduled on Monday and on Friday she requested the closing statement which she did not receive. She called again on Monday and was told that they did not have all the documents in order for closing that day. I had taken off work which is very inconvenient not be told that they didn’t have the documents in order on time. We ultimately received the Final closing statement 14 minutes before our scheduled closing appointment which did not give us time to review it. Access to their office is atrocious. They are located in the Cowboys complex, which beautiful but is locked down by key card access and requires escort. We received no information regarding parking and access to the building ahead of our appointment. I first parked in the parking garage and discovered you need a key card to get into the building. I had to call their office to get instructions for where to go to access the building. Then, once in the building we were accosted by security because apparently you aren’t allowed anywhere in the building without an escort, even in the lobby. Would have been nice if Lawyer’s Title A) gave us a heads up about that and B) had someone to meet us to escort us, ESPECIALLY since I had JUST CALLED and they knew I was on the premesis trying to locate their office. Additionally, after closing, we got trapped on the elevator because no one escorted us down and you need a KEYCARD TO LEAVE!!! So we had to use the call button to call someone for help to get to the ground floor to leave the building! And as a final goodbye, I had a GIANT orange warning sticker on my car, because the location Lawyer’s title told me to park in was only one hour parking. I arrived at 5:28pm and got back to my car at 6:19 pm, a grand total of 51 minutes. But the giant orange warning sticker warned me that I had been there over and hour. I won’t be using them again when I buy my next house. Location is beautiful but not worth the hassle.

Lawyers Title in Frisco has terrible service over the phone I would never recommend this place, closed a transaction here many years ago, called to get a copy of a document for a repeat client in Frisco and they gave me the BS run around for a WEEK .... Stay away 👎👎👎👎
