This is the nicest group of guys, and I never have a problem after Ive seen them for things. The owner is so nice and always up for a chat, the mechanics really know their stuff, and its not obscenely priced. Such good value, such good people, and not a dingy place. My husband and I love bringing our cars here. Absolutely recommend.

I was there needing small auto repair. The fellow that helped me was good. The owner offered me the repair even though he was booked he put me in for a couple hours later. However his tech was injured .. I hope he is better as I understand that it was a bad accident with chemicals my heart goes out to him and his family and I hope hes doing well but I really do appreciate them to put me on a schedule that was so full I would use them again and refer people to them..

We were heading to Unity hospital to do our meals on wheels delivery route when our car started making a terrible grinding noise. Our contact at the hospital recommended we go down the street to this place, where she gets all her car repairs done. Roger was able to get us in right away and even gave us a loaner for the few hours it took to get the brakes fixed. Now were all fixed up with a warranty and all. We feel very lucky to have found this place!

Minnoco was quite accommodating with a last minute appointment for brake diagnosis. Quickly diagnosed the situation a different business could not. The other business charged me about $80 to clean some brake components, but that was not the problem. (I could have just flushed the money for all the good it did at the other business.)A nice & pleasant bonus, seriously; Their vehicle inspection was detailed enough that Minnoco found the serpentine belt to be cracked & needed to be replaced.I made an appointment for the brake work to be performed, serpentine belt replaced. One component was not in stock but would be the following morning. Minnoco suggested I leave my car over night & they would complete work the following morning. I was offered a courtesy car to take home for the night. At first I said I could walk, as I live close by. But they pretty much insisted, kindly, I take the courtesy car, so I did.Work was completed on time the next morning. Brakes feel great, are quiet & work perfectly.Thanks to everyone @ Minnoco - Fridley, Mn.

This place is great! One thing I noticed is the owner himself and all the mechanics will drop you off at home then work on the car call you when its done and pick you up. They also have. A few loaner cars for extended service. That is awesome to me and great American service!! A complementary fresh pot of coffee if you decide to stay and wait!! Great staff!! All the guys have good costumer service, smiles, can help with anything. Complementary top grade car wash for automotive service ..Affordable prices and great communication about whats going to be done and what needs to be done. Not just fixing something and adding it to the bill with a slap in the face price...They make sure you know what is going on at all times! Check them out you will not be disappointed.

Great bunch of mechanics always very fair with pricing the owner Mike is upfront and honest unlike many other auto repair shops in the area! Called this morning needing my daughters car looked at because the check engine light came on. I was able to bring it in right away & get it looked at. Mike was very nice. Went over everything with me. Suggested a few other things that need to be done & prioritized them for us. We did the first 2 things that needed to be done right away & my daughter will do the other 2 things in a few months when she has the money. I was pleasantly surprised by this shop. We will continue to have our services done here.

I am always nervous about bringing our vehicles to new shops, but followed all the great reviews online and am sure glad I did.I brought my wifes Mercury Milan in for a brake inspection last week and appreciated that Mike showed me a few other problems we werent aware of (leaky water pump and loose tie rod). These are things I would never notice that could end up with an untimely tow bill.The guys at Fridley Minnoco Auto Repair were honest & thorough and able to get the work completed quickly. I also noticed and appreciate the quality of the parts they install, including painted rotors that wont rust and look awful.I will absolutely return and highly recommend Fridley Minnoco to others in the area who are looking for fast, friendly, and affordable auto repair.

My friend and business partner told me about this shop after watching me deal with another shop for almost a year. I was dealing with not having my car for weeks at a time only to have to bring it back in time after time and I was to my boiling point with the PREVIOUS shop I was going to. Ive gone to my fair share of different mechanics over the years, and no one compares to the customer service and work done at the Fridley Minnoco. Mike has always been very realistic with my girlfriend and I when anything is wrong with our cars. He will even take us and show us what is wrong. I have never once felt as if I was getting the wool pulled over my eyes. He has always been very helpful when trying to work around our crazy work schedules too.

Recently had my Chevy k1500 at Fridley Minnoco for a complete engine swap due to low compression. Mike and his team were not only able to complete the repair quickly and efficiently, they genuinely care for their customers as well. Went in on weds night gas was 40+, cents cheaper. Never saw this station so busy 2 & 3 cars in line for each pump.L casher was very pleasant even had a sense of humour about how busy it was.She got me out quickly, I waited longer to get to pump.I ll be back

Very bad and dishonest service, the owner was trying to charge me for a transmission flush but i went to a different mechanic and they told me my car has a cvt transmission that it does not require a transmission flush, he lied that i need to do my full synthetic oil change every 5000 miles, he also said i need to replace my upper radiator hose when nothing was wrong with it. my other mechanic said my car is in good condition and does not need any of those things this Scam was trying to charge me for. Stay away from him people!!!

Had to respond to the guy with the change. I was behind you in line you made more like a $10 purchase all in nickels & dimes. I had to wait while clerk older blondish hair counted it. I was annoyed since all I wanted to do us pay for my gas.I go in all the time and I find her pleasant professional & efficient.I was just in for gas last night & it was crazy busy because gas was 50 cents cheaper than everyone else. She had a line of 8 people which is the most I have seen at one time. She was pleasant calm & efficient

Not a bad place they did mess up one my service there with a faulty part but ended up repairing it with no cost. But they really didnt put the dash board back properly so it kinda hung there til I had time to fix it my self. 3.5 stars if possible

Went in to buy a brisk iced tea that cost $1.06. I gave the lady behind the counter (40 ish with longer blond/brown hair) $1.10 in nickles. She gives me an annoyed sigh like i just plopped down 5 bucks in pennies and then preceded to tell me she wont except it next time. I said you wont except A DOLLAR in nickles? Her reply was Doug down the street at SA wont except it....just dripping with attitude when she spoke. I know Doug, Ive worked with Doug. Doug excepts all payments in change that arent excessive and dont back up lines.

Very friendly and helpful! Got me in right away the first time with no appointment. My wheel was falling off. When checking the other tires they found they were only torqued to 20# instead of 100#. Got me back on the road quickly with new wheel studs and correctly torqued lugnuts.Have brought two of my and my brother’s cars in since March. Always apply current coupon even when I wasn’t aware there was one. They explain everything and even draw pictures or show you what was wrong.They did an inspection for a used car I was considering buying and determined it was a good car but needed some work. They gave me separate estimates so I could lower my offer. Cost me 3x’s as much for the same inspection on a different car at another shop.Enjoy that the owner is working alongside his employees. When I call, I get quick appts and answers to my questions. Prompt callbacks when they don’t have an immediate answer.This will be my shop forever and I have already told family and friends about the great service. Thank you Mike and staff!

Wow. That is all I have to say about my experience here.I drive a 2010 Silverado with 150,000 miles and Saturday I had a problem. I was driving down 10 and my truck died. I didnt want to pay a fortune for a tow as my mechanic is way out west of town and the tow truck driver told me that he would take me to minnoco and they would help me out. I was sceptical as most people are about the typical auto shop mentality of seeing how much money they can get from you. However at this shop that was not the case. They explained to me that my alternator died and it was no big deal to have me back on the road in no time. They also told me that my lower ball joints where quite bad as well. Then they took me in the shop to show me the difference between a good one and mine. I was so very impressed that they would do this even though they knew I was going to take it back to my regular mechanic.I dont normally write reviews for stuff but so many shops get a bad name and this shop deserves a very good one. Definitely take your car here if you live anywhere near it!
