Big lot. Good towing nice office staff

My car was taken here after I got into a collision, it was heavily damaged and I was not in position where I could afford to have it repaired, I talked with the lady working the counter at that time about leaving the car there, I was told that was an option but I would still have to pay the towing bill ($239). So far this all seemed fair, but I didnt have the money to pay right then and there, on telling her this she informed me that I had 45 days to pay and give them the title or they would have a third party get their payment, it is also important to note that she downplayed the need for the title saying that the car would be signed over to them after the 45 day period regardless, this was good news to me as I would later realize that the title was stored out of town. I was also offered the chance to take care of the bill in payments, something that I hoped that it would not come to, but was glad for the backup plan. Time went on, and new bills and rent came around, as well as some family things that demanded my time, and I was forced to put this slightly less time sensitive affair on the back burner. At about a week till payment was due, I was ready to pay up, I was still overloaded with bills, but I really wanted this done and over with, so I worked extra hours to make the amount I was told I owed, however, when I called to confirm the details they chose that moment to tell me about the OTHER fees, including a rather hefty one for not providing the title within two days that somehow didnt come up during the conversation about leaving the car with them. This was very distressing, but as I had other bills that couldnt wait for me to make the extra $130 I was not told they would be demanding, I had to put it aside again. Finally everything else was out of the way, I hardly had a thing left after the latest unexpected bill, but I figured I could at least take up the offer of partial payments and have it done in a few weeks, even at the increased cost. Just to be sure, I once again called to confirm nothing else was changed. I asked about doing payments, the answer? No. I said that I was told in no uncertain terms that I could in fact do partial payments, again, No. Just No. Thats it.I had no choice but to deal with these people, but if you find yourself in a better position then me, please, please look elsewhere.Cant say it was all bad though, at least she told me to have a nice day before she hung up on me.

The worst place ever. Not only did they over charge they were very rude. Then take me out back to where my vehicle was inside for safety/extra fee the front tire is flat. Just got Brand new tires one month ago. Was perfect when they took it. Then try to tell me it was like that when they took it.

Thank you for your help today. I appreciated the quick delivery. Its my day off and so a women in the office kindly texted me, to let me know when the driver would be on the way. This helped me relax at home until they were ready. When they arrived with my truck the owner backed up the truck with pretty impressive skill. They are very rude to customers, if you ask to talk to a manager, they claim they are the manager. They bill you outrageous prices for a tow, like they are royalty or something. I bought a trailer from another tow company and it turned out someone stole it 5 years prior to them towing it. Heat team had action towing pick it up for vin verification. Sheriff confirmed it was stolen, told action towing if owners didnt pick it up within 10 days, notify me to pick it up within 31 days. Action towing failed to notify me. I know the owner didnt pick it up, because the new owners bought it on lien sale 2 months later.

As a matter of fact this owner of this most successful towing company, in Fresno is a wonderful giving heart of a business man or woman? For allowing the public the opportunity to regain their vehicle back at their disposal people should be more appreciative . Of their jobs they do for us. Society. Thanks action towing. Terrible customers services legal extortions

Worst towing place. They charged me 2000 dollars to be towed and to have my car there for 4 days. At 65 a day and 1000 for the service, how does that equal 2000? They offered me a free tow, which was cool at first, but I asked them when they could tow my car and they said first thing Friday morning, well I called Friday morning and they said it will still be towed to my mechanic. So my mechanic has been waiting, and I have been waiting. I called them on my lunch break to see what was happening and they started beating around the bush and finally said that they cant tow it today. The manager was very rude and basically hung up on me. SO, they were never going to tell me....that they couldnt tow it. My mechanic would have sat there all day, waiting for my car, and neither of us would have known. So I called a different tow company to pick up my car from there. DONT EVER GO HERE.

Nobody likes having to tow their car. But the low rating is because I was quoted one price on the phone, and charged three times the quoted price when I arrived for the exact service I had described. The manager (owner?) said they fired the lady who gave me the quote, but that doesnt get my money back. Bad customer relations.

Perhaps just doing their job is a good way to describe the reasons for a tow, but having the right to break into a vehicle and tow it at the owners expense DOES NOT warrant rude, unprofessional behavior from the tow company itself. Of course, the owners are going to be pissed off, but retaliation is NOT good customer service. Sounds to me like some people need to take a lesson in customer service, etiquette, English as a second language, and proper diet before they decide to take a job where they will be dealing with angry people on a regular basis.

We were told guaranteed to get our vehicle unstuck. Okay things happen, I get it. What really upset me was my husband gave them, in good faith, a deposit to come back to days later when it wasnt raining, to try again since they couldnt get to the vehicle (unfortunate situation). The company said theyd be back. We called one day and the tow truck was in the shop, we called the next day and they said it would be done in the morning just a few more hours and they would call us back. They never did call us back. Do not trust these people they knew our situation and my husband was too trusting.

They do their job.

CREDIT REPORT SAYS I OWE THIS COMPANY. THE TOWING CO CANNOT EVEN TELL ME WHAT FOR. IVE CALLED THEM 4 TIMES TRYING TO CLEAR THIS UP AND CALLED DMV WHO STATED I DONT HAVE ANY CARS IN MY NAME FROM ANY PREVIOUS SALE OR ANY LIENS. I CALLED TOWING CO BACK AND STILL GOT NOWHERE. I OFFERED ANY AND ALL OF MY INFO YET THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY RECORD. MEANWHILE SOMEONE OWES THEM 4,000 AND THEY ARE NO HELP AND I HAVE A BAD REPORT. THEY DESERVE NEGATIVE STARS BUT I HAD TO IN ORDER TO POST.

Have used them in the past, didnt seem to have any problems, but today was a different story. There was some half truths being told and we ended up with a bill to have damage fixed on our vehicle that they denied doing. It was an unfortunate event. The gal that helped at the beginning was very nice and professional, but the gal that answered the phone was obviously not the same person....very rude and unprofessional. Keeping a customer on mute and making rude comments off mute is not a very professional way to handle business. Its too bad, because I have worked with John and his wife in the past and they were very nice on a past recovery. Again, very unfortunate and disappointed in the outcome.

I dont appreciate the fact that your flat bed truck followed us up hwy. 41 from Fresno, tail gating and trying to force us off the road. We know you were on your way to a fatality accident for an evidence tow. No one is going anywhere at the scene anytime soon. So trying to cause several other accidents along the way is not the way to go. I would not recommend your service to anyone if that is the way you and your drivers drive!

I got my Car stolen December 30th. Cops recovered it. Person who answered the phone acted like they did not want give me back my car. When i said that he responds I just want your money. I show up at 6pm another person recovering her car asks me if the guy on the phone was a a$$. I said sure was. Apparently by reviews place sucks. 369$ later got my car . do not use them if u can avoid it

My experience was horrible. I reported them to the FPD immediately and questioned why would they be contracting with this company. Staff is horrible, my brother passed away in a car accident, all we wanted to do was get his personal belongings from the car yet the person at the front desk made us wait over an hour. A person came in after we did and she helped them before us. Then she proceceeded to take a phone call on her personal phone regarding what her plans were after wards and apparently going to Aldos, finding the right dress and heels, getting tacos are 3am and getting laid was a top priority for this person. I let her know her attitude towards was inappropriate and rude. When I asked for her name, she toned down her attitude because she knew we would be reporting her to the manager. Instead I called the FPD Detective working on our case and notified him of this issue. I would never recommend this place for anyone!!!

What a crooked company. I sold a car 10 years ago in Nevada (which does not require a release of liability) and just received a tow bill in the mail for approximately $2,000.. I called them and the lady was extremely rude and cocky. Glad I live in Nevada as I would have drove down there and dealt with this face to face. Paid for a carfax report to see that 6 other people have owned that car since 2009.. presented the rude bit** on the phone with the details and she refused to let me speak to a manager or the owner. Guess my lawyer will be contacting this crooked company in the morning. I wouldnt reccomend this company to ANYONE, not even my worse enemy.

THIS IS THE TRUCKNAPPING COMPANY WHICH TRUCKNAPPED MY DEFENSELESS TRUCK FROM THE EZ TRIP TRUCK STOP IN FRESNO, CA. IT TOOK $1660.00 AS RANSOM TO RESCUE HER FROM THESE BANDITS! AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE.

***Update - Partnership with the collection agency.Fraud is the business model...The owner sends each and every tow to collections. I proved the vehicle was not owned by me, bill was removed, they sent it months later to collections. Filed a police report. AVOID. Criminal enterprise.
