Cathy Lima and Pa Choua of Foundations are EXCELLENT!! Ive NEVER had a poor experience with CVRC. They have helped my daughter until she aged out when she turned 3 this February. Now they are helping my 1½ year old son who is a little delayed. As a mother of 2 small children, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Very unorganized and not well responsive. My experience with Madelyn Rodriquez over the phone or via email was not very pleasant. She doesnt sound very happy over the phone or check her emails. As an office clerk, shes not really good at her customer service skills. I havent experience being at the facility myself, but will be there soon and hopefully I will have better things to say then what ive encounter so far.
I am very disappointed. I have been trying to get help for my autistic daughter for 3 years and when I came here I thought she would get the best help because of the friendly staff and clean building, but these are mere faces with no hand to lend. We are still waiting for be helped. My daughter is now 5 and cant talk. She is not potty trained. She has terrible tantrums. I am alone. I am trying. I thought Central Valley Regional Center was my saving grace, but no. My daughter stands by me, but feels like she is million miles away and no one is helping.

I’ve left three voicemails. I’m completely clueless as to where to find resources for a family member and I’ve received zero response. If this organization receives public funding or grants it is a shame as I can only imagine there are a bunch of people never getting a call back.
What a mess.....been in Fresno 3yrs and still get the run around.Absolutely shameful organization!!!!!
I. Love. My. Case Manager. Marla Markham
Definitely a place to come to get help and pointed into the right direction for a child in need. Very helpful, hard working staff that will help you til the end they give it their all.
Whoever they are sending out to do field work or some check and balance stuffs or investigations are compulsive LIARS! They just assume that there is no supply without even asking if the delivery has arrived. On top of that the one responsible for paying these care homes are not even doing their jobs well, months and months of delays! What does CVRC do sit and wait and send LIARS!
Advocacy for special needs. Awesome mental support. The care and help for persons with special needs is utmost with CVRC. I definitely recommend checking out their services. If anyone can help they can. God bless.
I took my 4 year old son and the person who spoke to me was so disrespectful my son was not behaving I know that ...that’s exactly why I was there...but what really offended me was when she asked me why I considered he ate a lot and I told her he Maybe likes to eat...and then she said “so if I give him 12 pancakes he’ll eat them.” I felt so disrespected but I told her well maybe he will. I have onother app but I’m thinking on not going.
I have had nothing but positive experiences here. Parking is easy, the building is huge and welcoming, and restrooms and waiting areas are very clean and accommodating to people with all sorts of disabilities. The staff here are wonderful and knowledgeable.
Very nice building. Very nice staff. Enjoy being here for meetings.
Hard to get assistance or support even when I followed their instruction to fax the initial application. Will give them another chance. Follow up on their end is poor and nonexistent. CVRC does nothing and I heard nothing from them the past years.
My daughter has been receiving services from CVRC for ~15 years. I have nothing but good things to say about them; most notably Mary Shapiro. Mary has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Recently, Mary attended two court cases involving my daughter even though she wasnt required to. Marys attendance in court turned out to be a big help as she was able to answer questions for the Judge, then write a follow-up report at the courts request prior to the hearing. Mary is professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. Some people just seem to get it, and thats is Mary. My daughters best interest was always her top priority. Most reassuring for me as a father!
Well they are sometimes helpful to me but however somestimes when they dont help me with nothing thats when I get angry and frustrated.
Each of the caseworkers at Regional Center in Fresno are AWESOME. 10 out of 10. They work so hard, and are very thorough in their observations, assistance, and support. We could not survive without them. We have had 30 years experience with them.
A close relative of mines is a client of theirs which they are responsible for her financial obligations and they do not issue her money 2 take care of her financial responsibilities shes late paying bills every month and nearly getting evicted due to lack of caseworker doing her job horrible company I wouldnt recommend them to anyone they need to become more professional and realistic handling peoples lives 👎👎
I like the way theyre always willing to help. The took us in &conducted a very thorough meeting.
Unfortunately, They dont have funding to HELP everyone ON THE spectrum. Its so sad those that are HIGH FUNCTIONING fall into the cracks and cant get services.A changed should BE DONE .. NO CHILD SHOULD BE LEFT BEHIND.. regardless in how low or high they are in the spectrum.. Children with High functioning Autism also should qualify. For me this is so wrong in so many levels.
Beautiful people. Service Coordinators are a pleasure to speak to. Some take a little longer to reach, but once you do, they are on top of your concerns.
Great place for our little guy to grow into the best he can be
Getting better on how quick your out of your visit..
You know what. You guys just are group of abusers. You shouldnt have to need a handful of schooling for stuff that have nothing to do with being in school in general and Im 34 with cp who just need living situation money help and something better than worthless denti cal. You could easy gave me an iq test now. I learned a lot of stuff more after school than in school. Im starting to see why a lot of high iq people with downs or aus dont have nothing to do with cvrc when should be because they are worse off than me by a lot. Because you guys a part of my ptsd is going off. Who really would ask someone something like how do you wash your hair and how do you know that you have ptsd, you guys at cvrc acted stupider than someone off the street. That is mental abuse how you talk to people and deal with stuff.Added 3 months later,The people who work for cvrc are retarded red necks minded alone but to top it off, they dont take you Seirlous like almost everyone else in Fresno that have anything do with help or health care. My needs are very basic human being needs and I been with cvrc for since end of November and I dont see anything started to roll in place Lilbit but I always feel like I am talking to a brain dead caseworker yet she didnt take me seriously about getting a new caseworker like anything else. That is all I can say and I want out!
Very helpful place if youre child is in need of special resorces ....they help you get connected ...for little ones ...now im tryin to get my 9 yr old evaluated an they are not helping so much ..gettin frustrated
Great services and resources, just poor customer service.
The place is very clean & the staff there is really nice & helpful. ☺
Very knowledgeable staff, and very accommodating to our needs.
Its like i said you can trust no one at home because if you leave your stuff on the table in the kitchen it disappeared like my wallet was stolen from my bag and I try to call my caseworker but hes never in is office now I cant cash my check because I dont have an ID people are so jealous of me and thats full of 💩
I have a step child whom may be autistic and so far they helped with teachers and infant programs... He still needs improvement but so far i am beginning to see a difference... Thank you...👍😊
Nice employees and always friendly
