This is the #1 venue in Fresno for parties or other events. I attended multiple parties and events at this place. Very beautiful place indoor and outdoor. Owner is very nice, kind, and down to earth person. I am looking forward to book this place for my daughter’s graduation soon.

Crooked greedy business owners with their eyes on the $2500 deposit that youll never get back. And if you try to dispute it, shell call the cops and shut the place down. Very crooked and rude lady! Disgusting mannerisms! Shell literally jeopardize your whole wedding cheers over the most trivial thing she could find an excuse to claim the deposit for herself.

This is a lovely event venue! We had a great experience. Great setting. Hope to have another event here soon! Id recommend calling iDesign Events to be your decorator and coordinator for your event. They do a perfect job and stay on top of things.

WARNING!! DO NOT COME HERE!!!!Owners are very rude and refuse to give a 2500 refund to my family after they promised to do so. We booked this place for a marriage prior to COVID 19 but we could no longer hold the event after the occurrence of the Covid 19 pandemic. The owners promised to refund us the total amount of 2500, and we have been very patient with them, until recently they flat out told us that we will not be getting anything back. Save your money and choose another place.

The owners are not honest. Couldn’t do the wedding since hall was closed due to covid. Owner promised to refund me but needed time and ever since they have been giving me the run around. Was last told that they won’t refund me my money which was the whole amount of $2500 for the silver room after promising me they will. It’s not our fault that covid happened and we should be entitled to our money since no services were performed. Very disappointed honestly because my relatives had many events done there before and would recommend them to friends and family. I don’t recommend this place to anyone because they’re also very rude. Gary was very rude when I talked to him on the phone and tried explaining to him how patient I’ve been with them since him and his wife Guldeep asked for more time but instead he said that I won’t get my money back and said other rude things before hanging up on me.

We booked this Hall prior to the covid 19 shutdown. On our event date the Hall was closed. June 2020 it was. Up to this day they’ve refused to refund us the money we had put down as shown in the receipt below . We’ve being getting the runarounds by the owners every time we try to resolve this issue. They say they’re not responsible for Covid 19, as of we are the ones responsible for it.You have our money.We never used your hallso return it like all the other halls that were forced to close due to COVID-19 did.2,500 was paid to them as shown below to one of the owners “Guldeep”“Jerry” one of the owners who I believe is the husband of “Goldeep is aware of this situation.

Sister booked a wedding the beginning of covid period, she paid 2,500 and was promised a refund. Then everything was on lock down and she didn’t have the chance to use the hall. So now she asks for a refund and they won’t give it to her. He’s also being disrespectful of the fact she asked for refund. Just a bad place all around, don’t come here.

Last weekend I had attended a wedding at Golden Palace, everything was awesome, I loved the stage. I liked their service and I will definitely refer them.

I had the honor of working with Kuldeep. She is one of the most positive, enthusiast and compassionate people in the work she does. I wanted a peacock theme for my brother’s wedding and she helped me create it perfectly with the short amount of time that we had. She never said “no” when I wanted to double check on things and welcomed us with open arms to her office. Come the reception day, everything was phenomenal. Having her husband and her there helped to assure me that everything was going smoothly and it did. Golden Palace is a phenomenal place to have your wedding reception. With its elegant venue, and the eloquent touch, it draws and bring happiness to those around. I hope this place continues to do well, and I know it will!

The venue was amazing, this was our second time using Golden Palace for my personal events, the service was so good that I had even used them for my family events. Its been weeks since my reception and my family are still talking about the awesome decoration and how amazing the party was! the staff was super friendly and the owners went out of their way to insure mine and my wifes special day was amazing. I have to say they have exceeded all expectations that we had and we loved their work. I would highly recommended this venue to anyone that needs a place to host an event!!! This is a beautiful place. Theyre just redoing the tiles. What a place for weddings, parties, or whatever it is thats makes you need a larger space. The owner and manager are going out of theyre way to make you happy and provide a awesome environment for your get-together.

Golden Palace Fresno went above and beyond for my reception! The things that I had imagined they made it come true. The owners put their time and dedication into making my wedding reception dream into a reality. The hall looked grand and beautiful; I was speechless and almost into tears when I saw how beautiful the decor looked. The food was amazing. My family loved everything about the hall. There were no lines for food or the bar! There is nothing I would have changed about my reception. I personally wanted to thank the staff and the owners for all the amazing work they did for the reception!!

The lady in charge of this place ( the owner) is very rude and all she care about is taking as much money as she can from you for your Venue. And she would use any excuse to take your $1,000.00 dollar deposit. I do not recommend this place for any event. If you do book an event at this location you would already have made the biggest mistake of you life. Take my advise, and take you money elsewhere

The new ownership are very humble, respectable, and hard working individuals. They went out of their way to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The in-house decorations done by Kuldeep are second to none and very fairly priced. Their hall is def one of the biggest and most up to date in Fresno. I would highly recommend them for all parties and would not hesitate to do another party with them.

Very bad/rude service; Don totally hung up on the phone after I could not attend the appointment, that is very unprofessional of him. All they care about is their money. And Im glad I found a way more affordable hall with better service and flexibility. Its their lost, not mine. 4.5K is not worth the bad service and I will be telling all my friends and family about my experience.

Had a great experience working with Golden Palace team to create an epic wedding experience. Kuldeep understood the vision for the decoration really well and created exactly what we asked for. We had this venue for two different parties in the same week and they made sure both events were successful and enjoyable. People DO NOT rent this place for any event. I had a Valentines banquet there last night. We have about 600+ people and paid a very expensive amount. They were suppose to cater us with a full course meal. They promised alot before the event but did not keep their words. This place is cheap!!Their service is the worst. They start serving food at 6pm and by 10pm we, the coordinator and many of the people, have not got the food. At the end, We and many people did not get our food at all. They said that they run out of food. We and many people left disappointed and hungry. How could this be possible when we give them the number of head counts in a week prior to our event.Their service was the worst. There was no service during dinner time. At our table, We only had one picture of water and one picture of ice tea through the night. No one came to refill our drinks. After the event, I know why we had a bad service. This place only have a few people working there. These same people do janitor, decorating and serving food. They need to hire people.This will be the first and last time having an event at this place.WARNING.. Stay away!!

I attended a party on November 9th, 2018. The place looked amazing. The decor set up was very elegant. Loved loved the stage. I know the manger goes above and beyond what is requested. She works every event as if it’s her own. Sitting with circle of my friends, I’ve only heard good things. I hope the best success and it’s an amazing event center in our city.

We had our wedding at the Golden Palace, I must say we had a great time, the décor was gorgeous, the staff was very polite and professional, everyone had a great time!!! I wouldnt have it any other way! The wedding package prices are very reasonable!

We had the most amazing experience at golden Palace for the reception party! The place is absolutely gorgeous and you get soooo much for what you pay for. Their prices are so reasonable and their food was soooo delicious. To this day, we get compliments from all the friends on how good and abundant the food was. My aunt said shes been to weddings in Beverly Hills, Malibu and more, but the food has NEVER been that good! The setup was breathtaking!! Just like the pictures! Definitely recommend for any event!!

I would like to take the time and thank Man and Don for their courteous service during our annual event. This is the second year we host our event for our non profit at the Golden Palace and it has been a success! They have helped us with adjusting the pricing so that we can help the children in the school that we are building. That is much appreciated! They ate very detailed oriented and Man will notice something that may not look right and tells me right away and goes out of her way to help me correct it. I had forgotten to tell them to turn off the lights for a moment of silence in our program and as soon as I told her she RAN and turned off the lights right away! They have helped us so much these past two years that we would love to continue using them for years to come!

I got married last month and did my reception at Golden Palace. Their event coordination was aswm, during the whole period when me and my husband was planning on decor with her. We felt like a family, di help us for everything including our budget, everything was beyond our imagination. We did food through Ashoka catering but we didnt worry about coordination between caterers and Golden Palace service team, everything was good on time. Thank you for making our day so special and memorable.

THINK TWICE!! Before booking this venue, please think twice, my experience with this venue was not so great, we have booked this venue thinking that we are getting our money’s worth, but it turned out to be the totally opposite. The owners of this place told us that he will provide us the DJ, catering, and decorations services for one premium package. This sounded like a great deal to me, but in reality his services was not worth my money, the DJ seemed like he just started his career so he did not have the whole proper equipment, the food was not so great and the decoration for the hall that I wanted was the totally opposite. Also we had payed a deposit for a professional wedding planner and once we told him about it he said no outside vendors are allowed. Not sure if that’s his wife working with him, the “lead decorative/wedding planner” design lady she never listened to anything I have said or gave great input, that I recommended, but he billed us a very hefty price and gave us low quality services, I will never recommend anyone to book this venue.

I want to rate this place below 1 star, they treat people really really bad, you will have worse experience of your life time if you are planning your party here. Thats all i can say. I mean it. 🤮🤮

I attended wedding reception last week. It was a BEAUTIFUL affair. The staff was very accommodating. Food was delicious, I would recommend this venue to everyone.

We just recently got married and let me tell you guys that everything was soo beautiful golden palace really made us feel at home and just right ... Mahn was so nice and very understanding she made sure we were good on everything loved how she helped us out as much as she can. She let us work with many things that we brought to her couldn’t thank her enough, at the big day she made my wife feel relaxed and made sure that everything was going to be ok, she really cares for you and what you want you guys won’t regret choosing golden palace thanks for everything!!

Attended a large valentines banquet yesterday. Worse food service ever! Half of the guests didnt even get food. And the ones that did get food, portion only fit for a child and quality of food suck! My vegetables were like slush. I couldnt even tell that they were vegetables! Plus no water or ice tea refill at all! Sorry but i wouldnt recommend this place.

I just saw the customer review about the new owners and felt really sad that why customers always have to exaggerate when they have to write bad stuff about the venue and staff ( workers & owners) to prove their point. This is Maryam I have started working with them and I find them very nice, accommodating, friendly. Its not that I am working their so I have to talk nice about them. I have to be honest so people will know about the new owners and how they treat their customers (what I have seen so far). I have seen them giving extra hours to workers just to keep the Hall, Hallway, bathroom clean as its their main priority to keep the environment clean for the customers and for the employees. They have taken care of all the old contracts (as far as I know) that were signed by the previous owner which they were not bound to. Please keep in mind wages are going up so are the prices. But they agreed on doing it to make a bond between customers and new owners. Loosing money on your part to make your customer happy is not something small. So please be thankful that they are trying hard to make everyone happy. I have given them 4 stars because there is always a room for improvement which I am sure they will. So please dont pass your judgement so quickly after ready any review (good or bad). please stop by and see what they have to offer and how they will go above and beyond to make your event special.Good luck

If I can give 0 stars, I would. 60 dollars for one plate for chicken or beef and the food wasnt even that good. I would never come to this place ever again due to bad service. Some of our guest didnt even get their food through the service until the end of the party. Dont waste your time here.

This is a nice place. Expensive to put on events (food minimums and high base price) but you dont need much decoration. Food is good, but parking is not great for a really large event. Hard to navigate and no parking in sketchy neighborhood. Sound system was out on North side for an event I just went to, which made it difficult to heae, but you dont need to hire a full DJ for just a dinner.

We hosted our CCSI annual Diwali event last year at Golden Palace Banquet hall and were impressed with the ambience and the setup of the hall. The owners Gary and Kuldeep were very friendly and accommodative. They handled all details in a meticulous manner. DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE.....I wish I could give this place a negative rating. This place is one of the worse ever. I was at the Valentines banquet this year and their services were horrible. I never got my dinner. By ten o’clock when I didn’t get my food I went to the kitchen to ask them and they said they ran out of food. We paid for 600 people, a number given to them one week ahead. $50 per person you can do the math how much money they got from us and they barely have about four waitress/waiters. I have to go into the kitchen myself to ask for refill of ice water. DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE A LOT PEOPLE.,

Also, they ran out of food so some people dont even get their dinner. The place is nice and all, but the service is terrible.

I use to work in that building when it was CalSkate. The place looks great. The food service is slower than molasses in the arctic.

Attended a party here last week there was no waitress came to pick up dirty plates, water jugs got never refilled and the owner was eating outside from the party he was never invited to the party, heard a lot about owners being rude to customers and thats very true. They will threat you that they will shut down your party. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

I am giving a rate of one star only because I HAVE to in order to post this review. I attended a Valentines banquet on February 9th, 2019. This hall has to be by far the worst service and experience we have ever had. Dinner consisted of welted iceberg lettuce with watered down dressing, Hawaiian bread from the grocery store, under cooked chicken, thawed out frozen vegetable slush. Dinner was portioned for young 5/6 year old children. My brother in law was served under cooked chicken with veggies and rice pilaf. My husbands plate had pieces of beef and one table spoon of rice and no veggies. Our table had one pitcher of water and one pitcher of ice tea that never got refilled throughout the night. When we asked the waiters for refills they replied that they were all out. We eventually took our pitchers to get refills from the bar. Waiters looked like they were 15/16 year olds dressed in jeans and black shirts. I purchased two watered down margaritas from the a female bartender for $10 each! More then half the cup was filled with ice and water, a slice of lime and lime juice. My nephews purchased budlight beers that were sour and expired. All alcohol drinks were over priced and not as expected! Very disappointed that people can do business like this! The only winner yesterday night was the owner of the hall. All the money we paid for this event was not worth it! I would not recommend this place!

I would never book or recommend this hall to anyone. I book this hall for my daughters Fresno state graduation party and surprise engagement from sonny the previous owner 3 months in advance 2 weeks before our event the new owners took over. They said theyll honor our contract, they did at first then started to charge for all the services that sonny had agreed to. They made me pay an additional 500 deposit 1 hour before our event or they were not going to let us in, then they wanted $250 to use the ice machine which I declined and bought 7 bags of ice for $30 at the market because none of our drink were refrigerated when they had us bring the drinks 24 in advanced. They pulled the staff so we had set up and clean up our selves. The bar tender that I paid an extra $200 for had an emergency so she left 2 hours into our party now the security guy had to bar tend. If that aint bad enough after cleaning the hall in order to get my deposit back they made me take my trash home with me they wouldnt allow me to put the trash in their trash dumpster I Had TO TAKE IT HOME IN MY CAR, but they kept all the aluminum cans to recycle for themselves. The owner his self came and said if we get to loud or rude you his bartender and security guy hell shut them party down. How do you not get loud at a party. SMH please do yourself a major favor and find a different hall for your event.
